Ruben Amorim on if it Is going to be like this for quite a while until he can stamp his mark on things:

"That is clear. With me, that is clear. Because I'm not going to change the way I see the game. I'm very clear on that. The players are going to suffer, I'm sorry, the fans are going to suffer. I have one way of doing things, I know it's going to [bring] results. But we have to suffer these moments. I think it's very clear for everybody what we are going to do."

I am sorry, but this is bullshit. Having one way of doing things won’t go well here. It’s not some Portuguese or African league. They will continue to beat us black and blue, even after getting him 11 new players.

Might not be bad...
More bodies in that midfield and he still gets his back three and wing backs.

This is my suggestion as well. But it seems Amorim is not that flexible. We really need more people in the midfield. Two strikers upfront also helps with pressing. Of course the wing backs will do more work as they would be overlapping big time, but then the DMs can always help to cover the spaces they’ve left behind when we attack.

Who would be the WBs and 2 CFs?

...emotion aside, we ain't good enough to be in the top 10. We don't even have solid players to be considered a top team in any way.

Our Midfielders ain't press-resistant, small pressure dem don lose balance and ball to opposition. Our WBs are modafuckerly skill-less! They can't dribble a cone successfully.

Mazraoui was better but apparently is losing the steam. Dalot refuses to get sense at all. Rest are fuckin bunch of Eediots!

Bruno keeps nagging like he is the best amongst the rest, whereas he is not even close. Hojulund should leave football for WWE - one kobo sense he no get!

Eriksen, Case are simply collecting pensions, they are both DONE! Shaw and Lindelof have turned the Club to Charity Home. LOL!

Rúben Amorim should never change his way. Its better he loses honorably than becoming another ZeroHag that promised certain Managers Era will come to an End, only to send us back to the Era of Pharaoh!

Reality check: we do not deserve top 10 this season and fuckin open surgery is needed to fix the dying club once and for all.

Well, we keep using Dalot, Maz, Malacia or Amad as WBs. Zirkzee and Garnacho or Rasmus or Amad upfront.

Yeah - I think the quality of opposition would be an important selection criteria too

Amorim should figure it out abeg.... i don taya for the endless embarrassments...especially at OT

I saw somewhere that he has only won 5 games out of 16, losing 8 shocked

That is an option that might alleviate the workload on the midfielders, however our biggest problem right now is the lack of attacking WBs and a quality left 10. Based on the tactical videos of Amorin's Sporting Lisbon team we do not have the WBs for the system. Amad and Antony are the only senior players that fit the mode of winger he has used in the past. Dalot and Mazraoui can't do the job properly.

For the next match Mainoo and Ugarte should hold the bench. Let us see Collyer and Bruno in CM with Amad and Garnacho as the 10s.

This season is long gone. As long as we no relegate i would leave Amorim to continue with what he knows so that he won't cause confusion like ETH by changing style all over the place for temporary benefit only to ultimately waste our time.

Let Amorin coach as he sees fit. If he fails, he should be sacked. If he changes his style to another formation and fails now the excuse will be that he it was because he changed style and that he will succeed when he changes to his own style. That is how we will waste another 2-3 years. like we did with ETH. Let us know quickly whether there is hope with this guy and if he fails let us sack him.

The original sin made by the club was not sacking ETH in the summer of last year. They now compounded it by an in-season appointment of a manager with a formation and style that did not fit the players we had in the team.

There is nothing we can do about all that now, so we just have to roll with it.

We've been here before...
- when Rashford's individual brilliance carried the team under ETH? The same is happening now with Amad Diallo. No Amad magic, no party.
- ETH changed his tactics to accommodate the players, then tried building on this new tactics, it failed, he was sacked.
- Ruben Amorim is taking the tough path, if he doesn't change, stick to his plans, most of this current players have to go for his plans to work.
If they don't go, it is going to be a tougher and longer path, that is, if they don't get him sacked before the magic happens...
- But if he changes his tactics to accommodate the current players, he will be sacked faster.

CC: ep.h12 what's your take on it?
I already knew we were going to suffer for some time with Amorim or even any new coach and I'm not surprised. We have a bunch of sissy players. They have poor mentality, not strong enough and lack intelligence. Their es are too slow and lack willing runners, especially off the ball. When a player is with the ball, his options are always limited because most of the rest of the team are not moving. We will need at least 4 new players to shake up the team. There is no magic any coach wants to do that will improve results here. If you like play 442 or 433, it won't make any difference.

The players are also not confident about pres because of their lack of pace and laziness. Normally we should have at least 5 players pres and the rest of the players stepping up but they are too fearful and lazy to run the length of the field for 90 minutes. If the team has pace and strength, they will be able to press up and stop attacks in the opponent half 80% of the time but they prefer to withdraw and win the ball back deep in our own half. We can't win anything playing this way

If he has 3 styles of play - one for top teams, one for middle teams and one for lower teams, why do we keep hearing that he shouldnt change his style of play?

Previous weeks : Kudos to Amorim - he should keep it up by not changing Style

This week : he has plenty styles he uses depending on the opposition and he would still change when we become a top team

When you watch Mainoo play you begin to wonder what is giving his entourage the yardstick to demand for more money...

These guys will choose to play with little or no motivation as long as the opponent is not a top team. Why is it so difficult for them to turn up against midtable teams or teams in the bottom half of the table. Why will players who are paid very well choose to play like the club is owing them.

In Italy, I have seen Juventus terminate contract by mutual consent. I think we did something similar with Ronaldo...We should begin to negotiate the termination of deals because no club will pay anything substantial for most of these clowns. At least, save the time and stress involved in the negotiations for player sales knowing we will get offered peanuts.
