Honestly, I am not optimistic. We’ll still be here after giving Amorim his players. Na from Saturday you go know how Sunday go look.
So Amorim is an average manager now. No wahala now. We will be here when the next manager wins league

BlueRayDick:
I talk am say this De Ligt na pant . Accepted Onana was being Onana by spilling that cross that led to the 3rd goal , but a more responsive CB in place of De Ligt would’ve helped in ballooning the ball into the crowd before the Brighton player could get to the ball .

That guy has not helped our defence in any way
odizeey(m): 5:28pm On Jan 19
Sulphuric1:

Goalkeeping is one of the issues, Onana lazily conceded two goals and you are saying we should relax. We should start benching Onana for the second keeper.

When I say make you relax?
patrickmuf(m): 5:29pm On Jan 19
Please if you have Onana's number, drop it...I need to talk to that bastard.

Seems Amorim's plan today was to play Brighton like they were some Prime Madrid at the Bernabau. Dunno maybe na fear of losing or he just didn't want the team to give too much away..

Our manager still has a lot of figuring out to do and hopefully, it wouldn't be too late..

The next PL fixture is away to Fulham and a loss at craven cottage would definitely restart the relegation whispers again

This season nawa

Onana bets. There's nothing you can tell me otherwise...

Why did he spill that ball? Onana is a fraud...

He’s coming from the Portuguese league. He needs to pull his weight before we can say he is above average. We can’t say that our tools are for relegation or bottom 7. Even if the team is average we should be churning out a mid table team performances, but here we are struggling to beat Wolves and Sou.

Lol 😂😂😂 okay so next season then

Next season, we continue the rubbish we started from last season. 😀 I don gba kamu already.

E go tey before we eventually bounce back

It's time for Onana to start seeing bench. I've never believed in playing one guy in post all the time. We have 2 keepers for a reason. Rotate them like everyone else on the team

Chai, Fulham. Which team can we even beat comfortably?

The thing shock me. I expected more. Rashford is as good as gone, who is replacing him? Bruno should be rotating the midfield with Mainoo, Ugarte and Collyer, while we get an attacker to play that left wing.

We’ve needed better players from time immemorial. And we’re not known to sign players often. Any finish above 10 this season I’ll take. It’s going to be our worst ever EPL finish but at all at all …

He wasn't the manager when we were struggling to beat Crystal Palace and West Ham earlier in the season. 2 different managers(even though one of them is an îdiot), same results. If they like they should not buy players. Let me see the manager they want to go and bring in that will make this team look like a decent team

Nitrogen says the tactics are bad and the manager is clueless.

But this team was 8th last season and 3rd the season before. A manager lost his way, true, but a new manager should be able to get this team out of the current position we are. He’s complicated everything by sticking with something that does not work for his players.

Even his in-game management and reactions are not encouraging.

No mata how gud a manager ur if u r nt winning games different talks will start flying around.Amorim shud sit up otherwise fans will come for his head.Y can't he tweak formation when playing so called smaller team.Forget about Onana errors n defense backline our main problem is our midfield. Our midfielders esp Mainoo were bullied today.same thing happened in Southampton match. If u don't want to sell him.fine.Get a proper one dt will partner ugarte.l know Casemiro v weak legs but he wud v been beta today.l dnt hate Mainoo .infact I pray he comes good for us .But for now l just l want my team to win

I do believe that a lot of midfielders will struggle in that 2 man midfield and Amorim’s system. There won’t be any creativity given both midfielders are saddled with defensive responsibilities in addition to covering the wingbacks when they are upfront. Except we can get a young Matic that can hold his own and a very energetic Kante like player that can cover lots of ground. It’s an insane system for these players. And where are we going to get the right midfielders? Don’t be fooled by what other midfielders are doing against us, if/when they get here, they will struggle as well.

It’s going to a very long ride.
Sulphuric1: 6:19pm On Jan 19
Maybe we should find a way to have Bruno play right in front of our two midfielders, in a 3-5-2 system. More numbers in the middle will do us lots of good.

We've been here before...
- when Rashford's individual brilliance carried the team under ETH? The same is happening now with Amad Diallo. No Amad magic, no party.
- ETH changed his tactics to accommodate the players, then tried building on this new tactics, it failed, he was sacked.
- Ruben Amorim is taking the tough path, if he doesn't change, stick to his plans, most of this current players have to go for his plans to work.
If they don't go, it is going to be a tougher and longer path, that is, if they don't get him sacked before the magic happens...
- But if he changes his tactics to accommodate the current players, he will be sacked faster.

CC: eph12 what's your take on it?

He can still take the tough path, stick to his tactics and plans, get rid of these players and get his own players and the team will still be sh!t. EPL isn’t easy, most teams are strong. There’s no guarantee this team will come good, there’s no guarantee the new gs will be successful. Sad

Ruben Amorim on if it Is going to be like this for quite a while until he can stamp his mark on things:

"That is clear. With me, that is clear. Because I'm not going to change the way I see the game. I'm very clear on that. The players are going to suffer, I'm sorry, the fans are going to suffer. I have one way of doing things, I know it's going to [bring] results. But we have to suffer these moments. I think it's very clear for everybody what we are going to do."

Ruben Amorim: "In the end of the game, everybody was changing position... that is something I will not see again. We can lose, but we have to maintain position.

"If I want to show something to the media or to the fans, I put two strikers. I didn't put two strikers because it is going to be more difficult for them to understand the way we play.

"So I'm just here to try and help my players but we need to understand that we're breaking all the bad record, it's a pride thing, it needs to change."
Oasis007(m): 7:00pm On Jan 19
Ruben Amorim: “The opponents are better than us in many details. We cannot be consistent. I am not helping my players at the moment. It’s hard moment and we are in a very difficult situation. The bad record losing games at home and in the PL, we are really under-performing.”
Oasis007(m): 7:02pm On Jan 19

Ruben Amorim:We are, maybe, the worst team in the history of Manchester United, I know you want headlines.”

......local man is tired! LOL!

Amorim! We know the journey ain't gonna be smooth at the beginning, jez be focused and remain steady. Slowly but surely, we will be GREAT again!

100% true.
- We are just playing the probability game here.
- He understands his model, his success at sporting is our yardstick. There is a higher odd that he will be successful trying that given the right set of players than doing anything else.

The board should just try and bring at least 2 wingbacks and maybe 1 CM but na wishful thinking. I no sure say them go spend this window. We're playing a system with wingbacks and we got none. Tough times

Ayayaya, I've be never seen a club perform so poorly in last 5 years and they have fans. I was at the viewing center, I didn't pay and i saw a shambolic display reminiscent of the state of the nigerian economy and I wonder, could this be man u or a championship team playing like this? Despite all the huge money, this players cannot live up to expectation. They play like pregnant women. No direction. They look lost and confused. They can't score. They can't the ball well. They can't penetrate. And they say they are a big team. Big team my ass. I just pity amorim. He will run like a mad man after his CV is dampened
