The secret to enjoying your solar and inverter system is buying quality equipment and "fully" understanding your load. With proper calculation, you can perfectly get your load, and the type of inverter system that can power it. I am currently deg my house to be off grid. My sumo will be inverter sumo, i will be using central water heater which will be powered by sunlight. All my ac and fridges will be interver ac and fridge and I will be buying a quality battery pack and lots of s to ensure they are well charged. Also my lighting will have max of 5watts each. I see people plugging industrial fan to their inverter and complaining that it doesn't last, some of that fan is rated 300watts

The issue is how much do you have to spend to get your solar system to power your ACs effectively without issues ? Not that solar cannot power ACs. Solar can power AC effectively. But how much?

Looking at the first picture from Tiktok that you posted (which I have now re-ed), you can already see why the person's solar system is sub-par and will struggle to power his/her AC.

S/he has 6 units of 330w solar s. "Assuming" that the s are genuine and s, the much it will output at "peak" sunlight is 297w per , giving a total output of 1782w.

Now ask yourself, is 1782w sufficient to power an AC that will probably gulp an average of 1000w while on, and also charge up the batteries, which are like to be 4 tubular batteries??

Let us revisit the words I emboldened above.
Assuming: Most of the s being sold and bought by supposed installers to be installed for their clients are what we call "sticker" s. These are s that will carry a sticker stating it is 300w, but it is actually 200w or lower. Alaba boys did it to me when I first started my journey, so I speak out of direct experience. So, if the person who made the comment in attached screenshot have "sticker" s, s/he probably have s that are actually 200w, and will output lesser.

Peak: Peak here means when the sun is at its highest intensity. This will NOT always be the cade because sunlight intensity will always go high and low for the limited hours it will be available.

Then there is also the issues of energy losses due to DC AC conversion, distance from solar s to setup, thickness of cables, etc.

You see now that we were being very generous with our initial figure of 1782w...

You need to open your mind to more learning. Sterling bank recently re-modelled their office at Marina to have solar s on EVERY side of it. It is a beauty to behold. First of its kind in Nigeria. If they didn't believe in solar, do you think they would have embarked on such a significant project? Or you think they did it just to power lights like you said in one of your posts below...

I always advise using ready mixed screeding putty (basecoat) for screeding for more reliable and long lasting bonding to the wall, brighter background for sharper finish coat and lesser paint consumption.
At a site my painters are presently working, aside from needing a stabilizing solution to bond the cracked and loose cement screeding, white emulsion primer was needed at a single coat for light colors to come out sharp with lesser paint consumption.
If we didn't out of experience notice and recommend these things to the client, the paints would peel off together with the weakly bonded screeding. That's not to say all cement screeding is weak but the rate extra topbond and similar vinyl binder should be added are not known.
There is little or no difference in the cost between the basecoat and cement and cement screeding and if required for a lasting bonding, the addition of the stabilizing solution and primer would make the cement screeding more expensive.

I have done electrical installation for banks and all their ATM machines are always on inverter.
Have you experience power outage during transactions on ATM before? don't discourage people with the issue you have with your own step up... There is calculation for everything in solar system. Don't just jump into it without knowing your total load. There also calculation for number of battery, number of solar s and rating of the inverter equipment..

I ran 2 of 1.5 hp either Hisense or Panasonic with couple of fans during the day time without any issue on solar. Sure, solar is expensive it's paid off overtime, I don't even need NEPA during the day to run my basic need with the kind of system I have, its can also be upgradeable according to your pocket. If its costing me almost 100k to fill my tank every 3 - 4 days in Lagos traffic . I can't imagine running the entire house on generator with the cost of fuel this day, the annoying thing to me is that generator noise. One need knowledgeable installer like TwinKenny to achieved good result. He handle the entire electrical, CCTV, Music System, Starlink from A -Z with no issues till date. Please don't be scared my system don't even cost 20m talk to Kenny about getting the right equipment is the key. Thank you Kenny for the good job

Yeh I'm still active as ever, well No rod was used, its just nailed to the nudging as you will do in the Old ceilings. However to make it look better instead of using batons to line the nudges after installation you use a ting tape to mask off the ts and fill with pop mixture for smooth finish. I hope this helps
NB as per the description bellow U cannot use the for under decking cos it will now cost you too much.

if you sherish that ac better get an avr for it sharp or your ac is gone. Hisense acs have a weak so don’t get your hopes up.
