Exactly what was the sin committed by the Roman soldiers—foreigners—, and where in the Law of Moses is this sin detailed? undecided

Oh! So, you don't know the details of the sin yourself but are quick to compare it to that committed by Judas, why? Do you at least know the detail of the particular sin committed by Judas? lipsrsealed

You are missing the point. The reason for this thread is to find out why Jesus forgave the Roman soldiers who are the aggressors and idol worshippers but not Judas or is own people undecided

You are not making sense though! Forgiveness is necessary only when sin has been committed. You said Judas did not sin so why are you adamant that he should have been forgiven for not sinning?

An excellent response.

Judas’s condemnation was not from Jesus but the apostles and all who followed Jesus, he could not face any of them as he was seen as a betrayal by all. The stigma made him returned the money and killed himself.

Did Judas asked for forgiveness b4 going out to hang himself?
Peter denied Jesus but he repented and was forgiven. He later became the head of the church.

There has to be repentance b4 forgiveness. Even the old testament U follow tells U that.

Besides, U have not replied me on my question in previous thread.
Who was the servant on Isaiah 49 who's meant to be light for the gentiles?

At this point I don't think U making sense anymore.
Was it Jesus that told Judas to commit suicide and not repent as punishment for what he did?
Who told Peter to repent when he denied Jesus?

Was it only the Roman soldiers that were mocking
Jesus at the cross?

Matthew 27
39 The people ing by shouted abuse, shaking their heads in mockery. 40 “Look at you now!” they yelled at him. “You said you were going to destroy the Temple and rebuild it in three days. Well then, if you are the Son of God, save yourself and come down from the cross!”

So when Jesus said 'Father forgive them, for they know not what they doing'
Was it only for the Roman soldiers?
Even the 2 robbers by his sides also mocked him.
At least one Roman general repented and confirmed Jesus is the Son of God, none of the Jews at the cross was recorded to have repented!!!

I repeat, when Jesus asked for forgiveness for his persecutors, was it only the Roman soldiers?
MindHacker9009(m): 2:43pm On Jan 05
In front of the Romans your Jesus is very gentle and re to forgive but in front of his own people he forgets about forgiveness:
Matthew 23:13: "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people's faces."
Matthew 23:33: "You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?"
John 8:44: "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires."
Matthew 11:20-24: "Then Jesus began to denounce the towns in which most of his miracles had been performed, because they did not repent."
Matthew 27:24-25: During Jesus’ trial, when Pilate offers to release Him, the crowd (made up of Jewish individuals) shouts: "His blood is on us and on our children!"
Luke 19:41-44: "The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you... They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you."

Even the tree that had not sinned, he could not forgive:
Matthew 21:18-19: "Early in the morning, as Jesus was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, 'May you never bear fruit again!' Immediately the tree withered."

Mr Man, I'm not Interested in your exegesis of a book U dont believe in.
I'm interested in you defending your argument.

The forgiveness Jesus offered to his persecutors on the cross- was it only for the Roman soldiers?
Yes or No.
This is my question.

Jesus didn't offer forgiveness to his people but he forgave the paralysed man- He told him your sins are forgiven.
Jesus didn't forgive sin of his own people but forgave the woman accused of adultery- he told her go and sin no more.

Jesus didn't forgive sin of his own people but forgave the woman whom others regarded as a sinner.
Luke 7
39 When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is—that she is a sinner.”.......

.......48 Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”

49 The other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”

50 Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

Jesus didn't forgive sin of his own people but forgave Zacheus the tax collector and told him today salvation has entered your home

Jesus didn't forgive forgive sin of his people but forgave the sin of the blind man at pool of bethesda.
John 5
14 Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.” 15 The man went away and told the Jewish leaders that it was Jesus who had made him well.

Pele, your blind hypocritical eye will be forced open sooner or later. The more U dig accusation against Jesus, the more your own beliefs crumble.

Now answer my question in Isaiah 49, U brought the verse not me

WHO IS THE SERVANT MENTIONED IN THAT AGE THAT WILL BRING LIGHT TO THE GENTILES.
WHO IS THAT JEWISH SERVANT THAT HAS MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR YOU TO ENJOY THE BEAUTIFUL GIFT
OF GOD CALLED SALVATION.

Somvinya, see as I destroy evidence of your fellow African Jew.
He's stuck and has no where to go.

He brought Isaiah 49.6 as evidence judiasm is for the whole world.

The LORD says:
“It is too small a thing for you to be my servant
to restore the tribes of Jacob
and bring back those of Israel I have kept.
I will also make YOU a light for the Gentiles,
that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.”

Now my question is who is that servant of the LORD that will be the light of the gentiles and bring the LORD's salvation to them.

Who is the LORD's servant that will make Judiasm for everyone.

Israel is the servant.
Isaiah 41:8-9 "But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend, I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you."

Hahahaha
So Israel is acting as both 2nd and 3rd person in the same age. U go fear extent people go to manipulate scriptures.

Now answer this question: Where in the OT did your God say he will send his only begotten son to come this world and" "I will also make him a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach ends of the earth."?
