Dont Be Deceived: Without Recreation ,there Is No Salvation (956 Views)

There is actually no christianity without being born again. Every man has to be born two times. Being born again is actually a re creation of a man in his spirit. It is not observing some spiritual laws . But to be actually created anew. 2 Corinthians 5:17 17 Therefore if any man[ be] in Christ,[ he is] a new creature: old things are ed away; behold, all things are become new. This new creation has been foretold by prophets of old. That a recreation of a race or new species of people will take place. Psalms 102:18 18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord. So for a man to be saved, he has to actually be created the second time. Many of us had religious upbringing which gives false security of salvation. It will be a great tragedy for a man to realise at the at the close of the age that he has no salvation and that he had believed wrongly. John 3:3-7 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. The death and resurrection of christ are two different things. His death paid for the sin of the world . He died in our place . He paid for every man. If that's where he stopped , that would have been good enough for sin. But his resurrection was something else. A new man was created in christ. This is entirely a new thing. Ephesians 2:10 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus . . . . . This idea of being born again or being recreated is a reality. A Christian is a new being without a past. The new creation took place in christ Jesus. It's a strange thing that took angels by surprise. A man is not recreated by good works but by faith. Some believe if they try their best to love their neighbour and do good they will somehow be saved. But that's the error. The spirit of a man has to be re created the day he receives christ . It is an instant experience and not progressive. That new spirit is in the nature of God and comes from God. Ezekiel 11:19 19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. . . . Man is a spirit, he has a soul and he lives in a body. The spirit of man died in Adam. Because Adam died spiritually that day he sinned. Genesis 2:17 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Adam died in his spirit that day. And all of us were born spiritually dead. Through Adam. We sinned in him. Romans 5:12 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death ed upon all men, for that all have sinned: So because of Adam , we became fleshly ruled because our birth through our parents was fleshly and that makes us dead spiritually . Good works can nit change the nature. We have to be born with a new nature and a new life. Spiritual birth John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. John 1:12-13 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,[ even] to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. So in heaven , a man is not qualified for salvation by how nice and good he behaves , but what nature or what life powered him. The new creature or the Adamic natural life. Galatians 6:15 15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. Ephesians 2:15 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity,[ even] the law of commandments[ contained] in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man,[ so] making peace; |

@poster Thank you for this thread, but i have a question, since every man is born a sinner and need to be recreated, what happens to children that die young, since they were unable to recieve christ. Will they end up in hell? Since God is no respecter of persons. I have read books on how pple saw children in heaven, do God judge children differently? Cos the bible says except a man a BE BORN AGAIN he cannot enter the kingom of God. Like the children that die during natural disasters. It was not thier fault, will God but such innocent children in hell? |

nuella2: Good question nuella2. Where is Jo. . . . . . |
Joagbaje(m): 5:31pm On Jan 14, 2011 |
Nuella, I don't expect this of you , are you putting me on hot seat?. I'm simply explaining salvation to people and you're derailing the thread. This is for adults who can read. You can open another thread on children. |

To understand the real meaning of the term born again that been so bastardised by modern day's penterascal leaders one needs to go back to the gospel of John where that term was first used. Now a certain man, a Pharisee named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council, came to Jesus at night and said to him, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs that you do unless God is with him." Jesus replied, "I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter his mother’s womb and be born a second time, can he?" Jesus answered, "I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit From this you can explicity deduce that been born again involves two principal processes 1.Born of water-baptism 2.Born of the spirit-Receiving the gift of the holy spirit As simple as this definition seems The pentecostal community has practically redifined born aganismm as simply verbally proclaiming Jesus as LORD and saviour and beleiving it with your heart. While beleiving in jesus is a major criteria for one to be born again ,it actually goes beyond that. since they were unable to recieve christ. where in the bible did you read that children are unable to receive christ?Even Jesus himself said let the children come to me and do not try to stop them |

These are my views. What did Jesus teach about salvation? 1. He didn't say anything about confessing with the mouth, or about trusting in the death and resurrection. That all came from Paul (Im not saying Paul made it up but we can never know). 2. Jesus is actually reported to have said unless your heart is like that of one of those little children nuella talked about you are offtrack. If the goal for us is to be like them then definitely they are intrinsically qualified. |

Joagbaje: Is this how you respond to inquiries from church ? Is this how they learn? You only teach what you want them to know? No wonder you have zombies for congregation. |

Joagbaje: Lol, hot seat ke? Children are human beings, and its important we know how they spend enternity. Am still waiting for ur reply Jo. |
Joagbaje(m): 12:55pm On Jan 17, 2011 |
Zikkyy: We don't have have zombies . We are only being attacked by zombies ![]() I did say we should take the discussion to another thread. I want to dedicate this thread to those who seek salvation . |

@Nuella, quote author=nuella2 link=topic=584854.msg7548251#msg7548251 date=1295265087] The children of Christians are sanctified by the faith of the parents. If they die before the age of ability, they will go to heaven. 1 Corinthians 7:14 14 . . . else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. |
SirJohn(m): 2:09pm On Jan 17, 2011 |
Joagbaje: Okay jo, I have witnessed countless infant baptisms in CE, I was initially shocked the first time I saw it but when I asked, I was given the same explanation you gave above. In fact they went further to say that two Christian couples CANNOT give birth to a sinner because the seed of the man is holy. is this true?? |

Sirjohn, There's no automatic salvation. A child may be consecrated and sanctified by the faith of the parents until the age of ability. When he has to make his personal commitment to God. The infant baptism is like a prophetic dedication. When children are dedicated to idols, the demons invoked will follow the child ,even though the child may not have understanding until he grows to make full initiation into the idol. Same spiritual law function in God kingdom. God says he will not depart in the way he is raised. |
SirJohn(m): 7:32pm On Jan 17, 2011 |
Joagbaje: Okay, Joagbaje: If you dont mind Jo, when you say 'consecrated and sanctified' do you mean that these children are born as new creations? if not, what then qualifies the child entry into heaven at death with the adamic nature? if yes, dont you think that will make nonsense of the whole concept of salvation? Joagbaje: Hmmm!! this is a new one, can you please explain? Joagbaje: This sounds like a personal opinion to me, otherwise you may have to prove the contrary. you speak of LAW, in which book is this law stated? |
SirJohn(m): 8:52am On Jan 18, 2011 |
Jo, I know you're there, kindly reply my questions!!

@nuella Except a man be born again, not except a baby be born again. I'm not the Judge or Determinant, but i think babies can enter the kingdom without being born again regardless of who their parents are. But as they become able, they'll need to be born again, as they'll stand before God to give if they become able. |

SirJohn: Am sure he will be back, he need to do some consultation with his oga. You can send him another remider if he refuse to surface ![]() |
nuella2(f): 12:31pm On Jan 18, 2011 |
Image123: @Image I like the way you constructed your post, especially those words in red. If every child that die will go to heaven according to you, what then happens to people(adults) that die without hearing about the gospel of christ. There are pple that have not really heard abt the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. Will they enter heaven too? |
Image123(m): 1:56pm On Jan 18, 2011 |
Like i said, i'm not the Judge or Determinant. I dunno, but i don't think they'll be in Heaven. More reason why anyone who hears the gospel today should repent and believe, then his/her kids can get to hear the gospel in the next generation if there'll be one.

@Sirjohn SirJohn: Sirjohn I wasn't there o. I appear logged in 24/7 because I'm using an iPad. That doesn't mean in on niraland. |
Joagbaje(m): 5:34pm On Jan 18, 2011 |
SirJohn: Yes if they die at infacy before the age of ability they are saved
Spiritual laws functions in light and darkness. We have angels , they have demons, all truths are parallel . Thesame law governs the two kingdoms. Curses are pronounced by spoken words while demons acts on them , But for us blessings are pronounced by words also while angels acts on them. That's what I mean by spiritual laws. |
SirJohn(m): 5:54pm On Jan 18, 2011 |
Joagbaje: So I can say that the child of two born again christians are saved even from birth and so may go to heaven if they die at infancy and the child of two unbelivers are born sinners and hence will go to hell if they die at infancy. is that your position? Joagbaje: You are still giving me your personal opinion unless you have them backed up |
Joagbaje(m): 6:22pm On Jan 18, 2011 |
^^^^^ Well , maybe you should explain this 1 Corinthians 7:14 14 . . . else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. But My thread is being derailed, I don't want this derail to enter second page. Can we discuss it in a new thread ? |
Zikkyy(m): 6:30pm On Jan 18, 2011 |
SirJohn: Jo dey dribble you. Any attempt to do more than this go put am for tight corner ![]() ![]() ![]() |
SirJohn(m): 7:15pm On Jan 18, 2011 |
Joagbaje: Saying you do not have answers to the questions would have been just okay. The questions are so in sync with the topic of discussion and so in no way derailing the thread. Bye!! |
