Are you saying 10AWG can also be used
Yes, the lower the AWG number, the better. It shows how thick the copper wire is, meaning there won't be resistance issues.

Is there additional charges for the pickup/ delivery? I mean after I make payment on Temu, is there other payment I’ll make after my stuff reaches Nigeria ?
I want to buy some phone accessories from there.. so I want to know what and what’s not to do plus hidden charges so I’ll calculate my profit ahead
I appreciate and God bless you for me.
No additional charges for delivery. You may have to pick it up yourself at pickup venue. That's it.

Input as the time of picture is 58 watts. I will take a picture after the sun is at its strength. Also, I want to pour water on it and see if there will be improvement.

Yea. I used Chatgpt to ask what it could produce in the morning around 9 in harmattan, and it says 100 watts to 250 due to the weather and it's fvcking right... Now at 128 watts. I should update around 12. But the cold today no be here.

It's in a compound, so it's safe. Not even for the faint hearted to come and remove it sef. That thing is heavy and large.

Yeah you're right
The cold today is extreme
Foauni seems to be out of stock of jinko 555 watts
I don't know any other reputable store
I'm impressed with your setup already

12:02 pm. Attached. 305 watts input from

Now, I have asked chatgpt and it says: "Your Jinko 555W will not generate its full capacity under typical conditions in harmattan, especially if there's some haze or dust in the air. A range of 300–400 watts during peak hours is reasonable and typical for this period in Nigeria.

If everything remains favorable, you might see a peak of 320–350 watts by solar noon."

So, the maximum input I got today is 320 watts...1:03 pm. So, I have a deficit of 124 watts if we include that solar s can only operate at 80% efficiency output.

I will update if there are changes...it may be my orientation too. I no even know if na West or whatever that placement is. Also, the sun orientation has changed too. I will wait till next year when sun touches where i place my generator (cos it isn't doing that for some months now)

Hydronium:

I bought a used 550W , so I'm getting only 270W from it, much to my chagrin.
Ensure that you buy a new original like the Jinko 555, you should get a minimum of 400W from it.

So, Hydronium, what you bought may just be that...I don't know when you started using or how old it is, it but orientation and weather may be the cause .

Great s bro , highly encouraging for the rest of us looking forward to DIY.... If we're to consider an 80% then 400 or slightly above 400 won't be bad.
Good one today though being the first day , it can only get better probably by the time you tweak positions you'd realise best positions in the long run.

I am getting back a D2 , replicating same set up. I shouldn't have sold my first D2. I will have just been running major appliances during peak sun periods.

Lessons learnt , no regrets!

Average load I consume during the day is slightly above 300 watts max. The sun should be able to cater for that while I conserve my back up for night which I may just need 100 watts or slightly above for let's say 8 hours.

Placing the order tomorrow regardless of price!

Yea. Just ensure the battery is full or near full by the time the whole load is on so that even if the load exceeds what is coming in, only a little percent will go per hour. It will minus it from the output and take a little from the battery. I don't use up to 300 anyway. Today, I had to ON two standing fans, the freezer, all the led lights in the house, TV, router, laptop, and phone charging, just to put it to the test.

So, it is okay for the use...my best use for it now will be in the rainy season when PHCN go take light coz of poles falling, etc.

Please I am throwing these questions to all experienced folks, kindly help me with your knowledge:

My s are not giving me a good output using a PWM, now I just got a Felicity 30AMps controller and it’s even worse. Below are my observations today

I have 2pcs of 180Watts 12/18V with a max current of 10Amps. Parallel connection.
Below is what I got after trying the MPPT to see if there will be any improvement

Felicity MPPT
1.0Amp 14V =‘14Watts @8:30am
1.4Amp 16V = 22.4Watts @9:00am
2.2Amp 15V = 33Watts @9:30am
2.4Amp 15V = 36Watts @9:38am
2.6Amp 15V = 39watts @10:00am
2.8Amp 15V = 42Watts @10:20am
3.1Amp 16V = 49.6Watts @11:00am
3.4Amp 15V = 51Watts @11:20am

With PWM: I quickly changed the connection back to PWM
3.8Am 14.1V = 53.58Watts @11:25am

Basically, what my observation is telling me is that the PWM is better. But overall, something is wrong with my system, and I don’t know what it is. This is 14% of my output I am getting.

The sun is literally shining on top of my . I am getting tired. Please what could be the problem? Could it be the cable used? Below is the image of the cable:

Ok guys, I just figured out the issue. It’s from the Twin tech . I have been duped of my hard earned 45k.

This is what I found out after testing the 2 s separately:
Single Connection at 1:20pm
Africell
20Volts 3.8Amps =76Watts
Twintech
15Volts 0.6Amps = 9Watts
Connecting both
15Volts 3.4Amps = 51Watts

Notice that Africell is giving 42% output while the Twin Tech is not significant. Now combining the two in parallel affects the entire system to a very low output. Now I am certain of the issue.

People are wicked o.

Omo!!! 9 Watts out of 180 watts is pure evil, same as Africell dropping 42%.

Kindly look for renogy solar s 200w.
