This is the Eden Lotus Power powerstation or 2kva solar generator. This is not an advert I am a customer.
We do call people out when they do bad. Let's call them out for good too.
Nigerians don't like to read long epistle so before I start typing my suffer to get this let me go straight to the point and tell you about the system

As at the time of buying this powerstation I priced Yoobao en2200q a close rival. It was 1.390m.. everywhere was 1.4 million upwards without delivery, without s, without warranty and assistance.
Eden lotus power gave a very limited offer for the package at 1.2 million for everything including the s and delivery.
The solar was 500w and it was bonus...
For that same 1.2 million. Both the delivery of the s and powerstation was still inside that 1.2 million.


Charging speed is a very big problem well This Eden lotus power 2Kva solar generator s 1620w of both solar and Ac charging. Thereby getting you from 0-10 in 1 hour 12 minutes or 15 minutes there about.
Then only Ac wall charging is 1098 - 1120w getting you from 0-10 in 1.80 hours which is 1 hour 48 minutes.

This is also a UPS. 1000 milliseconds makes a seconds.
For you to blink your eye is 150 milliseconds. Well this UPS feature is 10 milliseconds. I use this in my office you cannot know when there is light or no light. The switching time is so fast that with this you can lie youre not using Nepa and nobody will know except you confess. Even if NEPA officials are in your office they will be there Nepa will go they will not know.
Those who work on computer for long this will save your system from crashing.

Smart outlet. For example if your phone is full and the battery notices energy isn't going out of it. It will automatically shut of that outlet. Maybe you slept off.

Digital display. Etc

I am a cartoon animator before I spend about 60k a month on fuel... Because creating a cartoon requires atleast 12 hours work from morning till night to drop just one video on YouTube a week.

As at September 21st. I was so so frustrated I posted on nairaland that I could give you my eye if only you could show me where to buy Yoobao en1200q

Yoobao then was out of stock... my fraustration increased. So I told my self instead of going for a lower stock I rather complete the money a million the next month to buy the Yoobao en2200q....


The next month being October Yoobao en2200q was also out of stock in the whole of jiji. I called everybody. Only two sellers gave me 1.390 the other 1.385 this doesn't include delivery to Port Harcourt.
So I calculated my odds.

Below is my call log 24th of October I made a screen record on October. Calling every single human being selling Yoobao on jiji.

I sold a laptop on nairaland here is the thread. Delivery with GIG was 9500 for a laptop I declared the value just 30k how much more this solar generator. I was scared of delivery maybe 70-100k outside the 1.4 million of Yoobao.

Cooldipo also frustrated me a little sha.
So I some nairalanders talking about cooldipo. So I decided to also try cooldipo.

I asked for the package of 1 million instead he sent me long long epistle of so many packages.
And so many videos. Well desperate man can do anything. I decided to read the long epistle.
I choosed the one I felt was good 2500wh... OK throw more light.
He just still wrote the same thing. The battery capacity and protection unit.
In my head I was like is this a full spec? He didn't chat again. Desperate man can do anything. I Chat again in the night to ask if it was an all in one package since no specs. He said No and started telling me about how he gave all in one to a customer and I can order from abroad mehn I frustrate.

I don't see the problem. He offered what he had and also said he could do a customized job for you. And yeah, I am a happy customer of his with 2 of his powerbanks.

Can this last in Nigeria? Is solar powerstation worth it in naija or should I just go for Mikano generator I am just curious as to what power backup/generator I can get for duplex with six all-ensuite exec rooms.

If you're using only during the day
You can use 100ah battery
Other costs include wire 6mm flex wire which goes for 3k per yard, breakers and then Installation cost. If I'm to do it, I'll charge 70k for bungalow and 120k and above depending on how many stories the building is

Thereby giving you the opportunity of an upgrade later on and also maintenance when needed, I bet you can't upgrade this system except you swap, and for maintenance you will need to carry the box to a designated centre.

Your breakdown could have been(for a 2KVA SOLAR SYSTEM);

2 unit of 220AH solar batteries. 400,000

An inverter (2KVA) 180,000

200 watts X4 (50,000 each), good amps for faster charging
200,000

why is he adding up the cost of both charge controller?,
You only need one either the PWN (which is cheaper) or the MPPT. However that 60amp he quoted for the MPPT is too large for your system except you plan to upgrade the system in future, 30amps will do just fine.

Disclaimer, I am not a solar installer just a DIY enthusiast and my system (2.5kva) which i set up two years ago is still up and running giving 24/7 power supply.

With the system I use my deep freezer (300ltrs) and washing machine during the day only, casually use my iron, Tv (LED) up until 11pm and three bulbs and two fans till day break.

The unit comprise of

2* 220 amp 12v batteries
3* 200watt (I added a fairly used 250watt paned just last month)
2.5kva sine wave inverter (not sachet)
30amp MPPT charge controller

All including wires, screw and tapes (excluding the i added last month) cost me approximately 560k. No installation cost as it was a DIY from start to finish
