As the person above suggested, no amount of suing or litigation can bring back the dead.

Count your losses and move on. Sorry, I know it's easier said than done.

Leave this shithole if you can, for sake of your son.

R.I.P to the dead.
Typical shit-hole brain.
He should should leave them and allow then to get away with it if indeed it's medical malpractice?
Is that how it's done in the countries that you want him to run to?
Do you know that medical malpractices happens all over the world, even in the most advance countries.
I work in the medical field in some.of the most advanced hospitals.in the world.
They also make mistakes and get sued more than most people know.
You think it's only in Nigeria where hospitals.make mistakes?

Does the man mean if the hospital had requested from him to cut her wife fibroid he wouldn't have permitted them to go ahead.

And moreover, does removing fibroid from one's body requires permission again and was the husband a doctor to determine if it is best to remove the fibroid or not, and where is the part in that write up that suggested that the hospital is incompetent?

So what the man just narrated shows that the hospital tried their best to put the wife in a good condition but it was mission impossible.

I understand the man's pain, but he should take it as force majeure

The worst time to touch a fibroid is during or immediately after pregnancy; as the bleeding is torrential as in this man’s wife’s case.

Going over the story again indicates the doctors did what they could to save her.
Could also be that she had multiple fibroids that made delivery of the baby difficult, likewise suturing.

May the Almighty comfort the family.

Sorry for your loss. I went through this exact same thing in 2016 plus the 7 PINTS of blood -MINUS THE SAD ENDING.

Here’s how.

All I can say is stand well well.

By the time my wife was discovered to be in critical condition after surgery #1, she was unconscious. Doctors knew we were losing her. Nurses already weeping.

Her tongue was bluish white and swollen. No blood. She had bled out on the bed.

Her mom was about to do the African/yoruba hysterics. I said

“Mommy if I slap you. Jump on your feet and start dancing. Start thanking God!”

I knew if she died, everybody that was against the marriage initially would say “and we told you”.

I went into a different state. I went in there, pushed the doctor aside and slapped her face. HARD! B

“I am your husband, and I have authority over you. you’re not going anywhere!” I yelled.

Her eyes fluttered open. They gave her oxygen and took her back to surgery for 6 hours.

I got a group of friends to the hospital and we were praying in tongues for those 6 hours she was in surgery again.

We were NOT begging God. We were declaring that she lives. The same spirit that raised Christ from the dead is at work in her and it energizes her mortal body.

She’s alive today, giving me attitude. Child is 8.

All I’m saying is stand well well. You can’t trust your life or your loved ones to medical science entirely.

Stand well.

Know your God and walk with him.

Walk by the principles of victory he has already given in his word. Death will always be on the prowl. But they that know their God shall be strong and do EXPLOITS.

—-

PS: At Bridge Hospital, they already said due to fibroid, she can’t conceive. Her TUBES were blocked bla bla bla. But I found a verse in Hebrews 11:6 that said

“And Sarah received strength to conceive”.

Strength. NOT SP€RM.

So no need for tubes to get pregnant.

I woke her up that night and showed her how we would have the child.

That’s what we declared for approx 4 months and she got pregnant.

Just sharing this to help others.

Cheers.

Her story is on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Eggs-Heartbreaks-Infertility-Law-Opposition/dp/1698574002

"When you marry a woman who cannot deliver naturally?"

I wish I understood this statement.

Are there women who choose not to deliver naturally? Isn't it circumstances that makes CS an option? Of course, aside from those woman who are woke and just want it.

Your statement is so insensitive.

I tried replying him, but felt too weak by such stupidity by someone’s husband.

Don’t women die from vaginal births?

People like him are the reason women who duly deserve to undergo CS, refuse, despite all medical advices given to them.

You're definitely one of the daft and evil people that got this country and society to the deterioration it got to today.
Some of you don't think at all before talking or posting.
Negligence from hospital staff kill hundreds of patients every day and the evil has continued because nobody is taking responsibility and retribution for the carelessness and recklessness.
If it was your daughter, wife or mother that was killed this way, will you say this nonsense?

not when the negligence was this much?they knew she would go for CS didnt they run scans b4 the operation how can they decide midway to go for the fibroid without consent, they were just so unprepared and for a private hospital not to have these essential drugs for operations they seem to do everyday??

do you think a human being is a goat that you just cut open bcs you hv the knife.checks and consultations with lots of scans are needed to tell you wht your going anything otherwise is just straight up murder.you can tell they were not prepared for anything and whoever led that operation needs to be investigated bcs this wouldnt be the first time theyve played with ppl's life while hoping for the best

Condolences. CS is not an easy operation; it gets worse when the patient has complications like high bp and Fibroid. Even if you are guaranteed 4 pregnancies in CS, its never advisable to do all of them. Manage 2.

This is what you get when you marry a woman who cannot deliver naturally. Cant blame the hospital for your poor choices
Atleast they delivered the baby.
Your statement reeks of ignorance. My wife went through the section twice because her pelvic canal is too small to allow the age of the babies. I thank God it was successful in both instances

private hospital like CS cuz that a big opportunity to milk the patient families, "3 cs" in a day a private hospital not general hospital
Yahoo everywhere. Even hospitals are not left out. They always pray for CS to make their big cash out. May God save our women.

Litigation is not that easy. He is going to spend a lot of money, time, and mental energy in the process, personal resources, while the hospitalis spending corporate resources. And there's no guaranty that the hospital will be found guilty. You haven't heard from the other side. It's not simply about being docile.
Sometimes it's wisdom.

Lol. Check how Islam is growing, then ask yourself if it is wisdom. The litigation process may give him a feeling of comfort that he tried for here.

I am a sociologist by the way. If he can afford a good lawyer, he should press on or he will grieve forever.

What do you mean poor choices? Poor choices, how?

Wife seekers should add this new criterion to their requirements, right?

Gawd! Who did this to us? Why do we have so many dunderheads walking around like normal people? Why?

My wife experienced same thing. The only difference was that the doctor discussed the removal of the fibroid much earlier with me before she went to the labour room. She made it out alife together with my son.
I can't say anything until an investigation is done to ascertain negligence on the part of the hospital

Rest in peace, pretty woman.

...but the craze for CS births amongst women in Nigeria today alarming?
For the four children that my wife delivered, all were through the God endowed natural birthing. In all the four occasions Kubwa General Hopital, Abuja, she never spent more than 30 minutes in the labour/delivery room and babies and mum were always coming out fine. All glory to God for these.

I ask again, why the craze for CS births amongst Nigerian women?

A woman was narrating to me how the doctor in the private clinic where she'd ed had already booked her for CS, and she agreed to it only for her to an antenatal programme in a church maternity home close to her house and subsequently delivered her baby there naturally.

The huge bill charged for CS always favours the doctors.
