Thanks.
I’m 25 , I studied Business Education (ing) with 3 years experience in teaching, I’m married and I have a baby please give me your best advice regarding relocation to any country at all.
And if I want to teach preschool class in Australia will I need IELTS?

Ok, thank you. But, please, which other route can I opt for? My brother, I need to make a move to secure the future of my family. I'm frustrated here. Although, I'm exploring other countries as well.

I've been reading what u've been posting.

You see that route u have in mind coupled with ur age, Abort it with immediate effect because it will choke u big time.

I can tell you a route to move to Australia.

But you will pay me for that information because it's not something I want to post freely online.

Make e no cast.

Good day Thanks for your reply.
I am a bit confused.
This was your initial post

So he has
1. a positive assessment from Engneers Australia as Engineering Technologist with relevant Expereince for ICT Engineering.
2. However he will not be getting any point for Relevant Employemnet as his EA assessment was without relevant experience assessment.
3. For his age, I think he needs points for Relevant experience assessment.
3. he has Proficient English Test Report for himself and competent English Test Report for his Wife.
4. This comes to about 60 points. He needs to improve on the points
5. If the points was way more than 60 points, I would have advised for EOI directly but alas he needs to improve his points standing. After going through your reply where he worked as a foreman, he should not have gone through Engineers Australia.
6. seems he might need to spend again on relevant skilled assessment.

Could he try the following
1. ANZSCO Code: 139914/ Quality Assurance Manager.
2. ANZSCO Code: 133512/Production Manager.

Assessing Authority is VETASSESS.
https://www.vetassess.com.au/check-my-occupation/construction-and-manufacturing

My humble 2 cents.

Thank you for your comments..my understanding is that skill assessment using experience through
VETASSESS are based on your current experience....it needs securing reference letters and salary slip and would have been impossible for production manager or quality assurance manager...ones he considered closer was ANZSCO Code: 312911 maintenance planner ...Process Engineer (Industrial) 233511 Industrial Engineer and 233513 Production or Plant Engineer ...Those Indian migration experts on Facebook convinced him Engineering Technologist has better chance than those....

Read the beginning pages at least pages 1- 20

If it’s overwhelming, then you may not have the required patience

Australia is becoming very difficult with their immigration rules.

I advice people to research and focus more on New Zealand.

Depends on the profession though...

You are right about the difficulty aspect - it's really very competitive now sha

The stakes are now so high

Not really sure about New Zealand

You need to read the initial pages and also do more research. I am like you some months ago but right now I am about to submit my assessment with IELTS done.

All the best in your pursuit

There is a thread for study visa matters. You'll most likely get an answer there.

Nigerians have a good opportunity now to get extra 5 points, with Naati tests available for igbo and yoruba.
But what happens when everyone does it? grin

Back to square one, with increased competition.

Perhaps there might be another efficient system of grading

Happy New Month, my people!

Please, I need your expert advice on the best way for me to migrate to Australia based on my profile. I’ve read through some very helpful threads here and done my own research, and it seems like the 189 visa or the 491 (family sponsorship) visa could be good options for me.

A bit about my background:

- I have a professional bachelor’s degree (M.Eng) in Aviation Transport (Aircraft Engineering) from a university in Latvia, Europe.
- My direct experience in this field is limited to a 6-month internship, which I did in my final year before graduating in 2020.
- For the past 6 years, I’ve been working as an IT Analyst, and Technical Manager in Tech companies.
- I’m 27 years old.
- I have a brother who is an Australian citizen based in Perth, Australia.
- My PTE Academic score is 90.

I’m thinking of writing my Career Episodes for an Aeronautical Engineering assessment with Engineers Australia (EA), but I’m not sure if my lack of work experience in the field, apart from the internship, will affect my chances. Do you think I should go ahead, or are there other routes that might be more straightforward or guaranteed for me?

I would really appreciate any advice or help you can provide. Thanks so much, and God bless!

Greetings. I have just submitted my skill assessment with Engineers Australia. I submitted using the Washington Accord pathway. I have a bit of worry though, as I mentioned earlier, my Masters degree falls under Washington Accord, while my Bachelors fall under Sydney accord. I decided to go with the Washington Accord pathway for my assessment. I didn’t include work experience in my assessment, as I only have just about three years of work experience and because of the cost associated with assessing work experience - since I don’t have substantial years of experience, so won’t get much points from experience. Will my pathway choice won’t affect my assessment outcome, because my bachelors degree is Sydney Accord accredited ?

Unilorin is a tier 2 university. As a result, your bachelor's (AQF &wink is equivalent to an Australian Associate degree (AQF 6) which means you will not be able to get a positive assessment without a PGDE that has at least 45 days teaching practice.
Please how do I find out the tier of my university? My university is Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (Unizik).

It will affect your pathway.
Engineers Australia primarily do assessment based on your Bachelors accord.
CDR Pathway is the best route for you. Sorry you will need to spend another additional money for CDR Pathway.
Please, Please and Please do the relevant experience , that is the only way to prove and get points for Work Expereince should you get ITA.

Your lack of Experience in Aviation Transport will affect your assessment with Engineers Australia.
Look for another suitable way through VETASSESS.
In summary , why you have an engineering degree , you have not demonstrated or put into practice any of your engineering knowledge.
Your work experience is IT related, so try the IT sector route.
However what did use your IT skills on?
Did you make products, processes, computations and ran simulations on Aircraft or Manufacturing related industries?
https://www.vetassess.com.au/check-my-occupation/construction-and-manufacturing
If you do still decide to go through with Engineers Australia, I fear they will issue Engineering Technologist which is equivalent to CAD Operator.

My humble opinions.
Please also seek further advice
