Since you said you do nothing related to civil at work, I will suggest a hard pill for you of you are really determined.
First, you have to find a way to practice what is related to your study, give yourself around 3 years plan to do that. VETASSESS will definitely deduct around 2yrs for qualifying.
All said and done, this will only be possible if you are under 40years of age. Or you can try the student route
Vetassess deduction is 12 months if occupation and qualifications are related.
2 years or more if they are not related

Hello people. Please I'm supposed to assess with VETASSESS and will like to know if the school transcripts ought to be ed on the website or if I must send, can I just send from WES?

Again, will submitting only employment reference, payslips and TCC suffice? Please educate me. Thank you.
you can your student copy.
WES is for Canada not Australia

This is very good news. Thanks a lot.

you will have to start all visa you have been refused.
They will scrutinise your application which is not a problem but not disclosing past refusal can lead to visa refusal

Choiii. Ok na.

Yes NSW will not even approve your nomination application. You should have a valid English test that still has at least 3 months before submitting an application
But NSW say they can expedite action if someone's visa is expiring in 5 days or their existing port is expiring in 5 days

Hello everyone,

I have a pertinent question. I have two degrees (bachelors and masters). I am assessing my degree with Engineers Australia. There are different pathways (accords) for assessing degree under Engineers Australia. My bachelors degree is accredited by Dublin accord, while my masters degree is accredited by Washington accord. Please which degree should I assess, my bachelors or masters degree?

Engineers Australia wiull always assess your engineering degree against the Bachelors Program.
Since your Bachelors is in the Dublin acoord, better to use the CDR route.

However, if in doubt, better to give Engineers Australia a phone call for advice.

I think you should just apply for the post study before leaving Australia and select engaage as your relationship status.

And while ing documents for the application make sure you documents to proof you are in relationship with her. Documents like

Receipts of money exchange between the both of you (dated from naija till now).
Picture of gift from both parties.
pictures of you and her together when you are dating in Nigeria ,
Screen shot of your chats history and if possible call history
A written statement explaining your relationship history (from both of you).
Consent letter from both parent approving your relationship if possible.

I think this will help.

Just a suggestion.

why are you scared? My advise will be for you to proceed and get to Nigeria and do the court wedding. If you truly want to add your spouse to your future visa. This is the same thing I intend to do too soon. I have already booked my ticket to Nigeria for December, although I understand your worries due to Australia can be funny but if one don’t try we can never know. If your visa is expiring October then you need to act fast then, because that is the only way for you to eventually bring your partner to Australia

Greetings to all!
I am HND graduate in Civil Engineering, I am 43years of age. I finished in 2010. I have been practicing since then, and have worked in different roles as Site Manager, Project Engineer and graduated to Project Manager across various firms. I recently added PMP certification to my profile. I am in Nigeria but my family is in Dubai.

My wife has Bsc in ing education and she is currently in Dubai with my kids. She works in a British Private School in Dubai as a Teacher. I am interested in the Australian offer, but needs a guide first, to know my chances and secondly to know how to go about it. I will value a kind response in this respect.

Thank you!

Good day .

First, read up on the numerous visas available.
https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-finder

Secondly, check the ANZCCO Occupation list for your profession for further assessment of your skills and experience.
https://www.anzscosearch.com/search/

This is just my own 2 cents.
Seems your wife is a professional teacher.
if you do intend to go the skilled visa route, maybe better for your wife to be main applicant as tecahers and doctors are very very high on the priority list.

Yup, this worked for a friend of mine. The only difference is that my friend fiance came for a vist and she returned back. So my friend added the visiting visa and all other doc like I mentioned as evidence to proof his relationship.

Hello, I'm a graduate of surveying and geoinformatics here in Nigeria, I'm yet to sit for SURCON (Nigeria council exams). What's my chances of getting skill select in Australia as Geospatial Council of Australia (authorised assessing authority ) is going to access Surveyor ANZSCO 232212 ( equivalent of an Australian bachelor degree in Surveying).

I am well experienced in my surveying field.

Thanks in anticipation

Good day.

The chances of getting positive assessment with Geospatial Council of Australia (authorised assessing authority ) depends on how well you write your skills assessment and if you provide all documentation requested.

In summary, the ball is in your court.

My 2 cents

\Which uni did your spouse graduate from? that's the sole determinant of her eligiblity to assess as a teacher with AITSL for a Nigerian degree holder

You may be able to assess as a civil engineeriing technician or draftsperson or project coordinator. Yoou will not be able to assess as a Construction Project Manager (M) because you dont have a degree. M requires a bachelor's degree while the ones i mentioned above are level 2 and can fly with HND

Grateful for your time and guide. She finished from University of Ado-Ekiti, with Bsc in ing Education. From what you stated above, she is qualified.

I feel mine should be Civil Engineering Technologist and not technician. Applying as a Technologists or Design Draftsman is not bad. And if am considered on the basis of PMP, One can start as a Project Coordinator.

So, which of us should apply or can both of us do? Your response will be cherished.

She is NOT eligible if it's from UNAD as 4 year course from UNAD is considered an Associate degree and not bachelors. She will need a PGDE to be able to assess.

There is no civil engineering technologist on the list. So use the guide to check those occupations and their tasks.
