Does this long wait apply for reunion visa or blue card or for both?

I’m looking to apply for a blue card. On the german website, it looks like it’s possible to apply online. Is this the case or not?

Lol... whether blue card, Temporary residence or PR (I think even German port) you go still wait above a year like everyone else. Except miracle happen

Yes, the wait is true
Reasons:

1) too many people applying at the same time. due to Nigeria population, this number is quite high.

2) the German embassy just want it that way. They probably don't want people from only one country to populate their country.

3) I don't know. Everything is assumptions and probably answers

If you are applying for a Blue Card work visa the wait time is not as long. You will need to apply online via the Auslands Portal: https://digital.diplo.de/ Complete the form and all the necessary documents, the embassy will check your documents for completeness and then invite you to book a date via the portal.

If you are applying for Family Reunion then there's a long wait. I hope this helps

My wife and our children had their interviews on the 9th of July 2024. The last email I received from the consulate informed us that the visas are in processing. Is there anyone whose family had his/her interviews on similar days? May I know what’s going on from other people?

Maybe because they are more than one person. Give them a little bit of time. They will respond.

MAY that doesn't require verification asked to submit port for approval.

I did my Interview since MAY of which my process doesn't require verification uptil now I haven't had anything from the Consulate.

Meanwhile my Husband and kids are German citizens
Of which the ABH said they don't have my visa application with them . I would like to know if the ABH do reach out to spouse's and parents of German citizens or is it the consulate that will approve it because of their statu

I ll say just try and be patient. My lawyer visited in October 2023 that was 10 months after my interview in January 2023 up till this moment I haven't received verification complete email. 8 months after lawyer verification I still haven't received verification complete email. July will make it 9 months. So you see say your own even good. I have sent millions of emails to no avail. My patience has run out since. Na sit down dey look I dey now. Waiting is so hard but we will all get there.

Regarding the application for blue card, how does one go about sending transcript from one’s university to the embassy?

How possible is it to request for the transcript to be dispatched to the embassy before the interview date?

Or would be possible to share your details to the diplo portal for the uni to it directly? My university has this option but the portal has 2fa verification on so it wouldn’t be possible for them to it this way without the verification code.

To those who applied in 2022, and went for their appointment this year, how long did it take from the visa interview till you got your visa?

They start giving Feb 2023 applicants from mid August.
Since you applied at the end of March, you will be expecting appointment from the middle of October.
