So I went back to the embassy to know why the document was showing me Sweden instead of because my wife has called the foreign office. They said they have not yet received my document. The security man wasn't nice he asked me to go that the embassy will me till date 21th June 2024 no inform from them.

Born in doesn't automatically make him a German citizen. Are his parents or any one of his parents German? If any one of them is German before they gave birth to him.Then he can claim German citizenship and can simply get the German port from the German embassy for his travel. Otherwise o tilo, .....he gats go through normal route like everyone.

With respect to the time, I meant, from the time of your interview to the time the visa was issued was quite fast. Ordinarily, some spend more than 3-6 months just for verification of documents after interview. But since there was no verification for you, it's understandable.

What I observed is that they are now using two months to give one month appointment. November 2022 applicants took March and April, December 2022 took May and June, now, January 2023 is taking July and August. So, the waiting time will definitely increase exponentially.

I booked on January 31st 2023. I emailed them and they confirmed that I'm in the system. Someone above said they've started sending appointment emails to January applicants. Be patient. I'm sure your email will arrive shortly.

I’ve been reading up on the thread and I see that there is a 1 year plus wait time for visa appointment.

Does this long wait apply for reunion visa or blue card or for both?

I’m looking to apply for a blue card. On the german website, it looks like it’s possible to apply online. Is this the case or not?
