Is it advisable to construct septic tanks during rainy season? Contributions will be highly appreciated.

I was about to buy some paints for my build but was advised to do flooring before painting... Now the issue is the rain.... Is it advisable to do flooring this period?

In the south south, it is preferably done in dry season when ground water level is at it's lowest and also because when it rains, the walls of the dug out pit usually cave in.

Postpone it ... i don't like working in the rains except you have lot of money at your disposal.

If only it will be reinforced but why go through that hurdle when block wall is satisfactory.

Again, is the sceptic tank to be constructed in a water logged area?

How much should I budget to completely build a 2 bedroom bungalow with 3 toilet? The roof will be flat hidden roof.

The land is secured and since it is buy and build, I want to do foundation first. I was told 1 to 1.5M should be enough for foundation because the land is flat with no obstacles.

I intend to construct rentage houses on it in the future so the 2 bedroom house will be small.

Yes that is a good retirement plan bcs you didn’t played in your younger age.

And grand pa/ma will be telling the grandkids.. back in my day, a plot of land was 500k, (current price then might be 50m)..

If only I had invested that 500k then.. chai..

You can start excavating now to your preferred depth while the soil is softer now.

Leave the main block setting till dry season.

I don't know about other regions, but in my area if you try this, then you should be ready to spend again on excavation by the time dry season arrives.
