Funny enough, I don't get humming sound when powering my fan, I use it to power my tv, home theater, fan, phones and bulbs.

Satchet inverter can go below 10v from my personal experience, the load on the inverter matters, just powering single 5w bulbs on an inverter can make the inverter go to 9v

Don't buy it if you have not paid o. except you can cut the as penuelseun has said. You better go for mppt because it going to be slow when charging your battery due to the fact that pwm controller can not convert excess voltage to current, it will only take the 18v needed to charge the battery and expel the rest as heat.. but mppt will convert it to current and send it to the battery.

Very compatible with lithium but severe damage awaits LifePO4 s. So dont use it with LifePO4 oooooo unless a bms at 3v cut off per cell is attached. Enjoy!!!

Hope your cells are well balanced with BMS attached, if not you will be killing some cells at that voltage

yeah, I even plan on buying an active balancer soon.

what? Wow! 9.4v is not a bad one on 12v lithium ion pack. That's each line to be 3.1v.

Nice innovation with the pvc.
You'll need to test each cell individually with a load to know if it's working properly, I suggest
you use a 5v tablet cooler fan for test, just to be sure all cells are good, so some wouldn't be draining others which is not safe.

You'll need a digital multi meter and a timer (clock) or your phone time.

First connect the battery to the meter, if the battery is fully charged, you'll get 4.25v or 4.45v pending on the battery type, now connect the fan to the battery while the meter is still connected, once connected, time it, I time mine 1mins, sometimes 2minis. (This is where the clock comes in). If it's a good battery, it should read 4.24v or 4.28v, now that's the voltage drop. (Eg Below). That's how to know a good battery, if it drops below that, it's bad, even if it drops to 4.00v, connecting it together with other cells in series or parallel is risky.

Let's take for example, if the battery reads 4.25v while connected to the meter, then reads 4.20v when you connect the fan (voltage drop), that is 4.25 - 4.20 = 0.05. After your 1mins has enlaps, disconnect only the fan, now the battery voltage will rise back to the default voltage it was which is 4.25v, some will rise to 4.24v then slowly reach 4.25v. Now that's a good battery. Any battery that doesn't rise back to it's default voltage is close to going bad.

If after your calculations and yours drops below 0.05, don't mix it with others that is above 0.05.
