They usually return port during the interview. The insurance (both medical & travel) depends on if you have them there with you or not. For me, I used Fintiba plus, (Mavista to be exact), that comes with everything including the both type of insurances. If you used fintiba plus to do your blocked funds, you can submit it immediately together with your documents during the interview.

If not you will be asked to submit it later together with your port.

But if I may ask, how did you tell them your intended travel date? Did you send it through an email to them?

Does anyone have a sample of this special age declaration deposed by the family head? Does it require my family head port photograph to be on it also?

All medical-allied courses are NC, either national or local. It's not really a matter of class but actual GPA when converted using the Bavaria GPA calculation.
As for schools, where you found the requirement also can have a list of schools.

You have good chances but there is a (un)written rule, Germans > EU nationals > other Euro nations > friends of the EU> country/region needs assessment.

My concern now is that she wasn't sure if it was an autogenerated email. Should I reply to the email or go to the embassy myself?

Resend a soft copy of the insurance proof to the email address you can send an email to (autoresponse addresses mostly fail) and remind them who you left the documents with, if you know the name, state the name of the interviewer.

At the time of my interview my proof block certificate from fintiba was not ready, because i got the notification late. But I've made the payment before the interview but hasn't gotten the certificate as at the time of my interview, so i only presented evidence of payment. I was asked to provide the proof of block cert within 24 days.. i was told to either send through mail or by post or bring it in person... After two days of my interview the proof of block was sent to by fintiba which i hurriedly sent to the German embassy through the email i was directed... After about 3weeks i received another email demanding the proof of block , this time i sent by post and wrote to them that I've sent it before and sent another through mail. I've been waiting for the visa decision since April only to receive letter from German that my visa was rejected because i couldn't provide the proof of block . I was so weak with that as I've been waiting for the decision since then. Well i was told in that letter that i can appeal if i think decision wasn't fair with proof. Please i want to appeal to decision as they asked. Because I've everything right with me, time and date i sent by mail and time/date i sent by post.. How do i go about it? Has anyone had such experience before, i would be very happy to get assistance on how to go about with the Appeal. First mistake.. Why didn't you go by yourself to the embassy and hand the document of proof of funds to them and make sure they recieve it instead of sending through post since u were given the options..
Well, don't know what to say, never heard of or seen any make an appeal to the embassy so I do not know how it works but u feel the lawyers should have an idea on cases like this.. U can make use of a lawyer or better still make more enquiries from experienced people.. I pray it works out for u.. Its really painful...

When they asked you to send the proof of funds, did you send via email or postal mail?
You used both words here, not sure which you did exactly.

At this point, we should address this issue of mail and email.
Mail is the postal letter usually in envelop sent to a physical address
E-Mail is a letter in form of texts including attached documents sent to a virtual computer address with the domain @.... You know this.

As long as is concerned, it is for our BEST INTEREST to remind ourselves of this important difference and PAY UTMOST attention to details in Mail and E-Mail.

Stating that you met all the requirements, waited and did your studies online so far, you met with the financial proof and forwarded the proof to the embassy as required WITHIN the given time frame... And on the basis upon which you were rejected is not completely the case...

Just as you dey argue normally... But in writing.

But I did the both by email and by post.. but they stated the reason for the rejection was because I couldn't provide the proof of fund... I just want to know how to appeal the decision they made against me....

It's a letter... Explain and send to the appropriate address.
They don't expect you to be a legal counsel... But write reasonably on that reason for rejection and attach proofs. Either or both by post and email.
