I'm going the studienkolleg route and booked my appointment June of last year and according to what was on their site at the time, I'm supposed to have already gotten the appointment date but I wrote to them and they told me the waiting time increased, I'm also seeing a lot of people here who got their appointment dates almost a year and a half later but that's by the way. On a previous version of this forum, someone wrote that if you sent the proof of your ission, the blocked details and your port data page, an appointment date would be given to you, does that still work? And if not, does anyone know if it's possible to defer the Aufnahmeprüfung at the institution or do I have to reapply for Sommer semester?

Hello, As of the Aufnahmeprüfung it cannot be deferred you have to reapply again. I don't know whether you have B2 German Certificate if you have... Please apply to Hamburg Studienkolleg their application starts from 1st July, they've cancelled their Aufnahmeprüfung no more Aufnahmeprüfung. ission will be distribute through the evaluation of your B2 German Certificate and your Waec/Neco and their Sommer Semester Start on January

As of the Embassy own, I don't think that method works again sending all your documents so they can give you appointment but if you wish to try you can... But Aufnahmeprüfung can't be deferred

Thanks for replying. Yes, my language certificate is B2, I'll try applying to Hamburg and I'll look for any others with early application also. I'll also try sending the documents since it doesn't cost anything, thanks again.

You're welcome. Good luck in your application, Try Studienkolleg Kiel too their Portal is open and it's online Application but they don't offer M-kurs. It's just T and W Kurs
