However, these are my questions, observations and suggestions

What are the load bearing capacities of the soil that made you choose this options because for this type of merger to work the difference in the soil load bearing capacities should not be wide apart. Otherwise there would be serious settlement issues..

Also where the two footings are meeting how are you going to ensure there is no differential settlement and cracks on the building.

I would rather have cavity ( double) walls along the dividing line; one on each footing type, to prevent cracks that want to might occur as a result of differential settlement on that part of the building.

Moreover, I believe the ground floor ( oversite concrete) of the two foundations should be on the same level, how do you intend to achieve this with that depth of beam. I seriously think the beam depth is rather too small for a raft beam.

Advantages of hollow blocks slab.

- Its more economical.
Hollow blocks is more cheaper to execute than normal RC slab. It saves more than 40% of total cost of both labour and materials to be used in construction.

for example. If you need 200pcs y12mm bars for decking in normal slab, you will need 120-150pcs of y12mm bars for hollow blocks slab. Same as cement and gravels.

- Low self-weight
Because of the hollow blocks been used, it reduces the quantity of concrete to be used which increases the dead load (self weight) of the building.

- More stable.
Hollow blocks slabs uses mostly beams which intersects with one another strategically, making it more stable.

Yes is a decking, Y16 for main beams and y12 for smaller span beams. Main advantages of it is less weight and economy and more durable

From iron(Size to use and its price) to cement (Quantity of cement) to granite to carpentry, how much do you think all of this would cost me? It's just our normal nija everywhere soakaway sizes, Thank you engineers.

Well what i normally advise some of my client that are in similar situation like yours is to find this Togolese or cotonou people to make a settlement on the land doing their ogogoro business or the fulani settling on the land rearing their cattles after letting them know where your land begins and where it ends; trust me they'll give u a call if they notice any treser on the land unlike leaving the land with a mere gate notice, if na for here sir you'll be confuse about the exact location you put the Notice cuz boys go don steal am use the money smoke Weed

Also, you can achieve the required strength for the rib beams because they can be properly cured.

One major disadvantage is that its ts need to be properly designed especially for areas prone to seismic activities.

It suppose to be hollow clay pot, (not necessary made of clay) that is lighter, shorter in lenght and tougher.
