One thing many people don't understand is the school year.. those schools you see rushing to write exams are still in their 2020/2021 academic years. Unlike other schools ABU had finished that accademic year before the strike commenced in February.. so they are just waiting technically for other schools to catch up they are ready to commence 2021/2022 year

lectures january 2023?

what will they be doing between november and january ?

why not teach when there’s no strike ?

students should sue them to court, they want to be collecting salary without any work
That would be 11 month break. Almost a year.
Ikemba007: 2:16am On Oct 20, 2022
Why should they teach when they have not been paid? Shey the students and their parents know how to celebrate court forcing lecturers to class without paying them? They should also go and tell the court to also draw a better lecture time table for them as you suggested.

Ignorant student and parents. It is now that they will know that ASUU has been fighting for them. Dem never see anything.

There were no state or private universities as we do today back then So strikes don't have the same bite today. And this is not the first time no work no pay has been proposed

Uni lag lecturers received one month salary yesterday.

My niece wey write jamb since 2020 don suffer for ABU hand. It took them two years to write post-utme because of Covid-19. ASUU strike don take one full year. 3 years wasted just like that. Tufiakwa

When they were forcing them to resume without resolving the issue, didn't you know this will happen?
Before that January they are talking about, they will embark on another strike.

Why should they do 'no work no pay ' policy for the matter that is caused by their failure to honour an agreement?
Make dem pay dem dia salary joor!

So the other schools that are beginning exams immediately following revision were paid abi?

Maybe you don't know ABU is the heart of ASUU strikes
Those schools hurrying their students and lecturers back to school are insensitive busybodies and should not be used as a metric for good judgement.
