I got married when I got a job in the UK. My court wedding was in the morning and I left for the UK that same day at night. My concerns is, when I was applying for visa, I put unmarried partner in my relationship status. Now, I want to bring my partner over, my fear is, hope our marriage won't be an issue because of the time of marriage.

Also, about our different surnames, I am the wife already in the UK, will I need to do a change of name to my husband's? Even though all my documents and COS carries my maiden name. Do we need a change of name?

He also applied for tourist visa around January this year but was denied because his funding is insufficient, will that affect his visa application this time?
Thirdly, he was a Dubai resident , stayed there for about 5yrs but he does not have police certificate from Dubai. He can't go back now because his resident is expired. Must he submit both Dubai and Nigeria police clearance or he can make do with Nigeria own, even though, his Dubai resident is reflecting in his port?
Any ideas or advice?

A)Submit the marriage certificate and any other documents including pictures, chats, call logs etc to substantiate the genuinety of your relationship. You need to prove this to the case worker.
B)U will need to provide a police certificate for any country within the last 10 years. If UAE was one of them u will need to, check online. There are ways to obtain police cert without going back into the country. If after several trials you are unable to get it then fill that information on the form with the reason. There is a place that asks if there are any serious reasons if getting such a certificate will be difficult and why.
C)Will his previous application affect this one now, only on grounds of misrepresentation yes. Otherwise if that visa was strictly a visit visa and filled appropriately then I see no reason why this one will be denied.
D)As a married woman, what substantiates ur marriage is your marriage certificate and any other proofs of marriage. You do not need to change your maiden name to his for the sake of his application. You are allowed to bear any name you want to bear even while married. The UKVI will not frown on your application due to maiden name. They never do

The section asking if you are traveling together should be NO. However, if your POF covers her already, you may input YES but state in ADDITIONAL INFORMATION that she is not applying at this time because her port is not ready.

Pay with your bank app, print out the reciept. Don't stress yourself.

Please house, my TB test appointment is on monday and i reside in lagos. Googled Standared Chartered bank and discovered they have a branch in Isaac John street, same street where IOM office is in ikeja. Please can anyone confirmed this? (That the bank is really on that street) so i can just get to the bank and pay then get back to the TB office. Thanks

Please pick none of the above if you have no related job experience in other professions. In my opinion, the NYSC thingy doesn't count in this regard.

The rule says 28 days, that is the fact that must be established.

Guys, do Ukvi normally send the refusal message via email before the person picks up his or her port or a letter is usually attached to the port

Hello people,

Please I need answers to an issue while trying to book an appointment for my dependent on the TLS page.

I selected VI center, paid the service fee, and also paid for Prime time appointment of which I got a confirmation email for both. But when I logged back to the application, it doesn't show an appointment date or an option to even documents.

Please has anyone experienced this issue? I don't know what else to do.
