A Nigerian Army soldier attached to Operation Udoka has been killed by suspected of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra after sneaking out of his duty post to attend a party in Anambra State.

The incident was said to have occurred on the evening of Saturday, May 18, 2025, at the Forward Operating Base in Uli.

It was gathered that the soldier had attended the event — a strippers’ party titled “Ladies’ Jamboree” — while wearing his military camouflage uniform.

According to a security source, the soldier was discovered missing during a tactical operation. The source said, “It was during a tactical operation that it was discovered the soldier was missing. He was later found to have sneaked out of the base without permission to attend a strippers’ party at a nearby hotel, in uniform. It was there that he was accosted and fatally shot by suspected IPOB/ESN fighters. His lifeless body, along with that of a baby, was later recovered at the scene by troops. “His weapon has been retrieved and is currently in military custody.”

Operation Udoka is a Defence Headquarters-led operation and efforts to reach the Director, Defence Media Operations, Maj. Gen. Markus Kangye, were unsuccessful.His phone number was switched off, and he had yet to respond to a message sent to him as of the time of filing this report.

The PUNCH reports that the killing is the latest in a series of targeted attacks on security personnel in the South-East region, where IPOB and ESN have been accused of carrying out violent campaigns against state forces.

Wike equally inspected the ongoing construction of the N16 Interchange at NICON Junction and the road project that es through Gishiri village to link Maitama and Katampe Districts to Wole Soyinka Way.

He lauded the pace of the projects and expressed optimism that they would be completed and be part of several others that would be inaugurated by the end of May.

“By next week, we will be able to provide all the projects that will be inaugurated to celebrate Tinubu’s second anniversary.

“This is one of them, OSEX to Wassa is also one of them; the Abuja International Conference Centre is another one. So many roads. “The Phase I of Obafemi Awolowo Way (N5) from Life Camp Junction to Ring Road III is another one – so many road projects both in satellite towns and the city.

“Even the Greater Abuja Water Supply project will also be inaugurated.

“It will take us about two weeks to inaugurate most of our projects,” he said.

The minister said that more people-oriented projects were underway in the FCT and its satellite towns, stressing that more roads would be constructed and many schools renovated.

He added that the FCT istration would particularly do more to improve security in the territory. Wike commended residents for the so far and urged them to continue by taking ownership of the infrastructure being provided and protecting them from vandals.

“On our part, we will do everything we can to ensure that all facilities and infrastructure provided are protected,” Wike said. (NAN)

This woman, if she does indeed have breast cancer, appears to have advanced disease already.
Before now would have been the time to seek care.

In the early stages, treatment is as simple as removing the cancer before it has a chance to spread. In advanced disease, the problem is bigger so there are medications involved (chemotherapy), in addition to surgery to remove the breast.
It depends on what they find in the hospital.
She has to go to the hospital for proper evaluation and better answer to this question.

Summary: there's no drug to use in place of breast removal if the disease is advanced enough to require breast removal. at that point we throw everything that can work at it and hope it is enough to keep the patient alive
