Hi all, please I need some guidance, I am currently in the uk and inviting my mom over for my graduation. My moms home ties is she has other children in Nigeria, she tly owns a property with my dad and cares for my dad as my dad is wheel chair bound as a result of stroke and vascular dementia, ( although I am unable to secure a medical report to this effect - hospital refused to give because his diagnosis was since 2007 ). Also, I have to proof relationship with my mom, but I do not have an official birth certificate. I have various pictures with my mom and previously shared the same last name with her before I changed my name due to marriage.

Please, would this pictures be enough to show prof of relationship ?

What other documents can I use to show proof of relationship?

My parents do not have a marriage certificate as they got married traditionally 50yrs ago, what can I use to proof that my mom has a husband she’s coming back to?

And also, would pictures of my mom and dad in his present condition (which by the way looks very sick in a wheelchair) be enough to show home ties instead of medical report?

Please, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Please has anyone experienced this?
Did biometrics with my family on Thursday last week 9/3/23.
Have been tracking on the website since then and today, it showed application transferred to VAC for me and my kids. My partners own is still showing “received at dmc”.
There’s been no interview, no nsf , no brp, no decision mail, nothing at all. The only reason I know it’s been transferred is because I tracked it.
Now I’m tensed. I don’t know if decision has been made, and what decision has been made.
Also, I’m worried about my partner’s own that is still at DMC according to the tracker.

Is this normal? Has anyone heard or experienced this?

Did you submit the updated CV or the old one?

If you submitted the updated CV then that should be fine with the employment letter and references for October 2022

If you submitted the old one and can't get the employment letter from the old job in addition to the new one then you need to ed the updated CV along with the employment and reference letter from the new job in October 2022,add a cover letter explaining what you submitted and the new job

If you didn't submit any CV then submit only your employment and ref letters for your new/current job

2. Please, the consent letters ed on UKVI website, who signs 1 and 3 for my children and dependants when the funds are in my ? Please note I did all the applications on their behalf.

The reference letter I used in getting ission is dated sept 2022 cos that’s when I applied to schools. Now I’m about to apply for visa. Can I still use that same reference letter or it’s too old now? Has any one used a 6months old reference letter before and got visa?

Good day. Please I’m about to apply for my partner dependant. He got a uS refusal in 2016 but his port was not stamped. Does he need to declare it?

No matter the currency your debit/credit card is, as long as its Mastercard, visa or any acceptable debit/credit card it will work for the payment. For as long as there is no local restriction like our dear naija own it will automatically convert the currency to the equivalent dollar or pound required using DCC (dynamic currency converter).The answer in short is Yes. The cards will work.
