There is no issue here. Your bsc was over 10 years ago so can’t be stated there.

Thank you oga Ednut.
Just to be clear, this means the BSc will not be mentioned nor the certificate ed, right?

Seniors in the house please I need your expert advise on Education History in EE profile.
The highest qualification only (masters) was evaluated and listed in education section with the plan to put BSc in personal history as advised in the earlier pages of this thread. The issue is that BSc is 16 years ago and someone said personal history covers events in the last 10 years. How can the BSc be captured post ITA?

Has any landed senior or PPR hopeful been in this scenario and how did you handle it? Thank you

What Cochtrane said.

I would say don't think about your money/POF in of the official rate which is not a real rate that is available to everyone.

Look at it in of the dollar value of the money/POF to you which would be a black market rate unless you are very lucky to get PTA.

I understand that for a given amount of Naira, the official rate gives you more dollars but that's just paper money.

You are in the best position right now i.e. pre ITA. Hopefully you will be able to save enough in dollars and all will be set by ITA or worst case by AOR.

#BuyDollar

Thank you. I have read through the thread you sent. Despite being here for long enough and thinking I don't miss anything, life happens.

I was so sure PNP will land and wanted my POF to be sufficient at official rate, while I still gather money not knowing one scary week can almost put someone into gbese, we move.

I feel so much better getting this off my chest and talking to you online friends. I have stopped shivering and screaming at my kids as if they sent me message.

#we move.

Thank you all,

Your best bet was converting it to dollars to start with, regardless. Things can only get worse from here, not better. In addition, putting it in dollars would serve you well when you eventually leave Nigeria since that's likely what you would still have to do anyways before converting it to CAD. Going by IRCC's exchange rate is not even that safe, cos the official rate itself could even go up at any time and that can edge you out based on POF. It's a slippery slope.

Now that this has happened, I'd really just advise you to start holding a separate dollar on the side, both as a possible addition to your POF in the future and as your preparation to convert to CAD eventually when you get your ITA>>AOC>>PPR. That's your best option in spite of the 700 rate.

Yeah I was a learner and has learnt the hard way. Its not every advise on this journey that could be followed. Never knew dollar can crash by 100 in a week. If I change at 700 as it is, if ITA comes, fund will not be enough for POF again. So like you said, its just to hold dollar by the side and start saving again.

Thanks for your input

Oh Lord have mercy oo!

I didn’t sleep well last night, probably my worst night ever and I’m not even over it yet.
My POF is in Naira because IRCC uses official rate which happened to be around N8.5m for a family of 4. If I change in the black market and put in dom at the rate of 580 to $ then, it won’ t be enough to meet up the 25kplus CAD for family of 4 so I picked the easiest option (leave it in naira) since that is all we have.
Last night I heard $ is now 710, so that is how all my life savings is depreciating for my eye like that, and ITA has not come. Still waiting for PNP to boost my score if possible since EE is still 500ish now. I’m sad but this japa is like my plan A. Yes I have a job here but I am tired!
I can’t even change the money again at 710 nah, my body is still shaking and I hope putting this out here will make me better

Since you are not sure, let me wait for others to comment. I don't want to enter one long thing after payment as I live in Lagos.

Good day all. I want to apply for my son's renewal. Anyone that recently applied for port in Festac or Ikoyi should please let me know their dates. My friend got September 26 in Alausa two days ago.

Please let me know if you got a closer date in Festac or Ikoyi this week. Thanks
Nikyb: 6:11pm On Jul 13, 2022
Someone already said this is not possible. You can only capture on date selected during application, I tried to look for that response for you but could not locate it now. My own take is since this is Nigeria, never say never. If you know a very senior officer, it might fly. Wish you all the best while we wait for the gurus to respond.

Winkky:
Hello All. Please I want to confirm if it is possible to capture before the date on the appointment slip. Under what circumstances can this be done?
My capturing date is in September but something came up and I have to travel in August. Please help with any info that will help me

Didn’t have a loan but I’d say always attach a LOE for anything you think might be confusing. If not you’ll be having panic attacks from AOR to PPR and also to avoid ADRs.
.
Thank you. It’s just that total of POF+ the outstanding balance on the loan is not available in my right now. I would really love to sell off the car and liquidate but my employer won’t allow me to sell as I still work with them. I’m just so confused

Hello All. I would like input from anyone who has processed and got PPR while having a car loan that is deducted monthly from their and shown on statement of . Did you attach LOE to your application or were you silent, how do I go about this please? Note the car loan is secured with the car itself and can be sold to liquidate the loan or given back to the bank when I’m going to Canny land.
Elders in the house please advise. Thank you in advance.

Please help guys! I got confused at the point of creating my EE profile. I only did ECA for my Masters, as per info that highest degree should be evaluated. While filling in my educational history on EE now it got confusing. Do I need to fill in my first degree too and pick that ECA was not done or I should just fill in Masters that has ECA alone and leave out the rest. Please note I only have a student copy of my first degree transcript which was done for my masters year ago and not addressed to any ECA body. And I know we need to provide documents for everything claimed on EE profile. Kindly guide me pls. I am confused

Yes, that's exactly what I did and I'm sure they knew that was what I'd do. Because I had the funds just that they couldn't accept the business in line with their policies.

Thank you for your response? Were you required to explain the origin/ purpose of the lump sum credit in your personal ?

Please I need help from the experienced people on the platform. What documents is required to submit for an accompanying spouse that is self employed? The business is ed but not well structured. Since spouse job experience does not increase CRS score, should it be blank at point of creating EE profile and put under personal history to avoid clumsy documentation after ITA? Please advise. Thank you

All the information you need is on www.wes.org

Thank you. I have checked the website before putting up this question but I'm not really clear on how to send electronically from Nigeria as I didn't see any Nigerian school on the list. That is why I came here to ask. Anyone that has successfully sent electronically from Nigeria should please enlighten me.

Hello house. I want to go and check/pick up my 7yr daughter's port at Alausa, I read somewhere here that the owner needs to thumb print and activate ports on collection. Is this applicable to minors? Please share your experience if you have collected for children recently. Thank you all

Hi,

Please were you able to get through this stage? If yes, how please?

The maximum you can pay with Firstbank naira card is now $100. It will fail for higher amounts.

Wow... it also means ICES and CES processing time will reduce since there will be less traffic on their site...

Just got confirmation from WES through Facebook now... It's official... No more WAEC or NECO.

The only confirmation I got was my status changing to "document received", I didn't get any notification.
I will advise you call them on a Tuesday around 5PM upwards and ask them to check for you. I asked my school to send through email too(I guess I'll never find out if they did)but ICES never confirmed receiving it, my status changed after they received the hardcopy sent by my school.
.

Your school sent by email and hard copy? I thought the website says it should not be duplicated. I only requested for an e-transcript from my school.
My status has changed to "documents received, being checked by ICES".
It is well with us on this journey o

Do not bother about what is displayed on ur ICES dashboard when you . In my own case, my status has been on 'Incomplete' since March when I started the process till today, but I have received my ECA on the 21st. I was just mailing them anytime I needed some info and to ask about current status of my credential evaluation. Use: [email protected] they will reply you in 48hours. Makesure you state your REF number and other personal details.

Thank you for your response.
