My broda, thats the one that bothers me most. . .a friend in the oil industry explained it better. . .He said its called "return to tank" there are specialist all over Naija that offer these services to station owner. . .The pumps are tampered with and when the station gets delivery of 33 thousand litres. . .they usually sell the naira equivalent of 26.2 Thousand
i.e. for every 26,200 litres = 33,000 litres cash value.

This varies from station to station . .(depends on the Station owner/Managers greed intensity)

The attendants ALL know about this so, EVEN when you catch and report them, they wont be sacked.

When it will end, I dont know. . .Best you can do is BE friends with a handful of attendant (i have 6 guys in 4 stations). Once they have that comrade ship, you are better off becos you will almost always get the exact amount of petrol you pay for.
