Good morning, please how much does it cost to apply for an International port presently? DIY and through an agent respectively.

DIY is 26k for Renewal, don't know how much is for a new one.

Agents which are immigration staff charge between 45 to 60k.

If not for the treats and tension on the high ways,I wouldn't mind travelling to other states, most especially the north to do my port.

I was happy to see some of my kingsmen today in the Lagos office as staff, spoke in dialect and they responded in English,I was not surprised cause I followed DIY process. They always frown at people who do it.

A Northerner would never do that. They are the best set of people that will give assistance equally, irrespective of where you from and once you speak hausa with them, they open the doors.

For the first in my life, am about to loose opportunities cause I don't have a port,and it takes ages to get one.

PS: if you are not in a hurry to get a port, follow DIY and save yourself the headache and sleepless night as am getting.

If you decide to follow staff and agents, try get a high ranking staff like the PCO.

Was at the Maitama Express port Center today by 8:45am.

Long story short by 12:05pm, I collected my new port (renewal). No hassle, no extortion.

I have this port I did five years ago in Asaba, the ecowas own but I can't tell if it's e-port o.

I have just applied for renewal in Lagos State.

I don't understand why you will want to help your brother and your wife will let hell loose. I think you are soft on her, you need to tell her you are the man of the house. If you have more than enough, please do assist him cause you never can tell how your tomorrow will be.

My own brother left me alone for form more 10 years cause of a woman too, seeing this post just made me realize that some of us who give advice are actually going through same experience. its well

Get a Mechanic to take off your wheels and check everything there, linkage, bushings, arms your brakes, especially the shoes, pads etc.


I've had this experience in the past. Also went chasing silencer to no avail. The sound was coming from the wheels. The handbrake shoes were rattling.

Since it’s coming from the back you need to pack your bushings with extra rubber just fixed mine that way
