How many % dividend yield would have been sufficient sir?
I just think there are other metrics to consider aside the yield.......and, I think 10% is not bad either.
ACCESS looks cheap at when compared with others in it's category...
Also the 2nd bank to have met the new capitalization.....
Just my own newbie's perspective anyway.
** Not any form of advice.
Good morning madam, please kindly check your email and reverse back.
Thanks

There are rules that guides trading in NGX.
1. For each trading day, a stock can either increase or decrease by +/-10%
2. Stocks can officially increase or decrease if a singletransaction of 100,000units or more is made.
3. A stock can go on full bid (buyers queue with no offer on the table) OR, go on full offer (sellers queue with no buyer on the table) during the trading hours (btw 10am to 2.00pm on trading days OR, have both Offers and Bids.
Now to your question:
* All broking houses are connected to the Nigerian Stock Exchange digital trading platform and all traders/investors, regardless of where you're staying trades from same NGX Trading Platform........ meaning, Stanbic oo, Bamboo oo....and every other houses does not have different price for any stock.
*DANGCEM has been on full Offer (Sales) at -10% with buyers coming to buy (what you want buy is on ground), but no 100k single transaction to fall the price.
Hence, the official closing price of DANGCEM remains N480, But you can get it at -10% that the sellers are willing to sell to you, which is N432.
It can go as high as N528 and as low as N432...You can buy at any price until the price changes (with 10kobo par value mvmt).
* DANGCEM official opening price = N480
+/-10% band = -N432 and +N528.
** This has been discussed several times here.
** Hope it's understood.....I didn't use big at least....... Though the explanation long small
Good morning madam,
Please kindly check your email.
Thanks

Impressive dividend but GTB had to throw a big bone to the market considering the public offer was a failure and under scribed.
In my personal opinion, I donβt see GTB paying 8 naira dividend for 2025 financial year. This dividend is motivated by another market offering and forex windfall.
Collect the PRESENT and leave the FUTURE!

The growth potential is not slowing down in the next 3 years.
N10 million would bought 4 million units in 2020, gave a bonus of 1 for 5 in 2022. Making the shares to grow to 4.8 million units currently valued at about N310 million. With the current dividend of N5.94 declared the investor will earn a dividend of about N25 million after the deduction of withholding tax
Congratulations Sir...

We always look for who to blame. We should stop and take responsibility.
The Rice company is ed, have assets etc, how do you think it can scale through the huddles of coming into NSE if it is how you painted it.
There is nothing that stops anyone from going to find out before bringing out their money to chase DSR like herds. Shares must move when bid are chasing it and that is the rule and Aliko Dangote has no hand in that. FOMO is not anyones friend.
SEC stopped it last year for some reasons and there is nothing saying they won't accept the merger once the issues are cleared.
If you are buy shares, know that it can go up or down, do your own research, do your own diligence, visit the physical market, industry, talk to management if you must so that you can make informed decisio. That is better than blaming innocent people for your misfortune. What stops us from starting our own company?
What I wrote was what happened!!!
Was the rice company track records as open as sugar and nascon?
Stop writing in paragraph when the truth is glaring you in the face

Forgive my ignorance but what did Dangote gain from pumping the price up? I did not see any corporate disclosure relating to his sale of shares? So what did he really gain from the failure of the Dangote foods merger
He was to merge 3 companies together. 2 were known but 1 was yet to be known. So the unknown one which SEC give a red flag is the cause of the merger not happening...
