Hoping they are truly innocent.

Releasing indoctrinated hard core of BH into the larger society will set back the work of the security agencies by several years.

This is an investment that will surely reap massive ROI.

However, why is he charging in dollars despite the several warnings by CBN for goods and services within Nigeria to be denominated in naira and not dollars?

This ment runs foul of CBN's regulations.

Spreading 5 billion thin into several sectors may end up defeating the aim of the program with associated difficulty ensuring ability .

What will 5 exercise book to 850 K students achieve?

50K yearly education grant to over 27K indigent students nationwide is suppose to pay for what exactly in this present economic quagmire?

I would have suggested that 2 or 3 critical areas affecting the lives of the generality of the masses would have benefited from massive funds injection with easily verifiable outcomes instead of the government clutching at straws.

Example:

1- WAEC/NECO /JAMB should have been declared free for all indigenes.

2- CNG buses procured to run major routes in the morning and at close of school to transport students and citizens alike to closest bus terminal to their schools and homes.

3- Procurement of essential drugs like antimalarials, antihelminthics etc for free access {if prescribed} to the populace who seek medical attention in state general hospitals. Making treatment of children under 5 years free in designated state hospitals.

Alimajiri is better than u peter obi ers. Only a fool will still be waiting for messiah.

I will want to wish you don't have problems with comprehension.

The only fool waiting for a Messiah may just be you because I clearly stated in my write-up that "the ship has set sail and we will have to live with the brunt of our actions or inactions"

If the voice of the people was truly the voice of God, I can bet you that the voices of APC ers will kill Asiwaju before the voices of Obi's ers.

20 million naira of tax payers money pledged frivolously to those constitutionally mandated to be proactive in curtailing crimes instead of reacting to crimes and criminalities.

Solving Nigeria's multifarious and hydra headed problems are easier done from outside the seat of power just like it's easier to coach a football team and select the best eleven players outside the pitch of play.

Oliseh was a good football analyst on DSTV supersports but a woeful and divisive coach when eventually given the coaching job.

"If wishes were horses, beggers will fly" .

Most of the facts you reeled out though true but disappointingly are records achieved under apartheid south Africa.

The present crops of leaders after Madiba have plummeted the economic hopes and fortunes of blacks and whites alike to an unenviable low.

This is a great news indeed!

May he continue to wax stronger academically and win more laurels for self and country.

On why alumni don't contribute to their alma mater, I can deduce that the cost of ing through your institution is so prohibitive that the parents and students spend the better part of their post graduation waiting for the ROI.

All these would have been prevented if we had used common sense in choosing our leadership instead of pandering to ethno-religious sentiments.

Now that the ship has set sail , we must bear the brunt of our actions or inactions.

I can not agree more with your assertion.

Infact, Nigeria should ditch all future procurements of manned combat air assets and frames and concentrate on long endurance drones.

The advantages of drones are too numerous to enumerate.

The military seems to have kept their part of the bargain by remaining in the barracks for so long and refusing to interrupt civil rule despite all the failings of our current democratic journey.

They need serious commendation on that part.

However, our politicians should not ride on this and continue to trample on the citizens as the current hardship may provoke a revolution that even the military will stand aside in of the people.

Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.

I detest cyber bullying.
If the team was praised in their victories, why single out individuals for social bashing in a supposed team sport?

That last game had only 2 options, win or loose. We took the later. So why the hullabaloo?

Those bashing iwobi are not good sports men.

Yea!

Not so fast.

They are wasting their time burning the national flag while the shrines of the imams that sold them the Muslim Muslim ticket still stands.

When common sense was being drummed into their tympanum, they were carried away by religious sentiments and refused to interrogate the choices before them.

Its barely a year and they are already eating "grass".
By the end of Asiwaju's first term, all indices for measuring developments will be in the negatives.

The few that will survive the looming economic carnage will "receive sense by force"

What is good for the geese is also good for the gander.

On 17 March 2023, following an investigation of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia which no nation has dared to effect despite his many travels.

It's all diplomatic harakiri with impossible enforcement potential.

On a lighter note;
Statue wey Ehedioha destroy for imo and nothing happen na im Putin dey provoke? Una sure say the matter no get "za oza room" inside.

Bizarre!!

How is her private life their business?

Someone comes to pick her by 10pm and returns her by 12 or 1am is now a crime warranting her arrest abi?
Where is her rights to freedom of association?

She must definitely have "monitoring spirits" as neighbours.

Mehn!!

Crazy things really went down under Buhari's watch as president.

I think Trump was right when he referred to him as "the lifeless one".

Only God knows the quantum of sleaze the first lady and maman daura committed against our Treasury if a recharge card seller (Sabiu) can become so rich as to even own and maintain a private jet by being a "hanger" around the "Lifeless one" .

Good development that the NBA has taken up the fight to squarely oppose the proposed intrusion into our legal system by our erstwhile colonial master.

For me, they see us as a people who are gullible and can be fleeced at every given opportunity.

The quest to partake in the "gold rush" during election seasons is the enticement that is attracting these leeches. Why are they not g such trades agreements with south Africa or Kenya?

As long as the deal doesn't automatically permits Nigeria trained lawyers the same unrestrained rights to practice law in the UK , then that agreement is equivalent to self immolation.

I'm not sure any charlatan garbed in a political cloak will advocate same in the health profession as foreign trained doctors may not understand the nuances of tropical diseases.

Condemnation is not part of their job description.

They should enabling laws that will criminalize such action and meet out stiff penalties to offenders to serve as deterrence.

That is what tax payers expects of them.

Will it change a thing?

Ours is a morally bankrupt society that will only produce like results however the sophistication by way of education.

Until we get leaders with the love of nation at heart, the education we desire in them will only make them to be sleek in their sleaze.

Our leaders have always had the Harvard, Yale and Cambridge trained economists at their disposal as SAs and SSAs but has it changed our economic fortunes?

The service chiefs observing the same ritual for the umpteenth time.

They will promise the lawmakers everything but premise their performance on funding. Then a new marching order will be received which will caput on the altar of mediocrity, inefficiency and outright incompetence.

Then the cycle will repeat itself but this time with the C-in-C issuing a fresh marching order.
