Theories of today are the palpable realities of tomorrow.

Hopefully, the unintended consequences of this technology will not jeopardize maritime activities or impinge negatively on the aquatic ecosystem.

Wage review is a statuary responsibility of government and is done every 5 years to mitigate the vagaries of inflation.

The removal of fuel subsidy has nothing to do with minimum wage award as it would have happened with or without it.

Wow!

We really need larger scaled factories like this in all states of the country to rid our environment of the menace of used and improperly dumped tyres.

Some aspects of the production line will however require automation to prevent work place accidents .

Good move if he will not succumb to pressure from the presidency.

I like the caveat he placed on further advancement of ways and means; The government must pay the outstanding one given.

If government is a Continuum, then it must pay just as it is clearing the FX backlog.

I am not sure you are in Nigeria but the market was never deregulated.
Tinubu simply tripled the price of petrol.

The current petrol price without subsidy should be at least #800 per liter.

But NNPCL has always maintained that it is not subsidizing petrol.

With the current search light being beamed on FX in the banking system and the weekly policy rollout of the regulator, it I crystal clear that the government may soon convert dorm s to their naira equivalent at NFEM rates.

Just last week, the banks were ordered to offload all FX not tied to any ongoing transactions in their vault.

This week, the banks have been told to pay out only naira equivalent for all remittances from abroad.

If these policies fail to tame the downward slide of the local currency, Cardoso may be compelled to dip his hands in the cookie jar of domiciliary Holder.

They are already clamping down on FX usage within the local economy.

The operation was carried out since December 28th 2023 and the news is just coming out?

In the time frame from then to this material time, Tantita has arrested over 4 news worthy oil bunkering vessels of note.

One may be tempted to suspect that the crew and vessel are being thrown out for prosecution because they didn't "play ball"

Which school did you go to?

You sincerely think you can import fuel into Nigeria and sale at 580 ? While diesel is 1250 ?

How do you people even think even? Na wah ooh

Read up my post and your incongruous analysis slowly and see how you have ended up confusing yourself.

Your hunger-induced uncouth attack is duly noted .

They have ceded their power to control pump prices of petroleum products after deregulating the market.

Their rebuttal of increasing petroleum products prices is of no effect as market forces will determine which way the pendulum swings.

You have mental sickness.
Your mental sickness is making you to talk rubbish.

Now, you have resorted to barbarism to hide your intellectual incapacition haven't you?

“I don’t deal in social media. As far as I’m concerned, barbarians have taken over social media and they have swapped the intellectual quotient which used to make and still make social media valid in other societies. Here in this country, social media has been dragged down to the lowest common denominator..... Prof. Wole Soyinka.

You are very wrong on that.
Your opinion shows you have low IQ

Respect is given to those who deserves it, and tinubu does not deserve the respect of Nigerians not even respect from school children. Nigerian school children have been protesting long ago, as a means to air their views and grievances just like the video below

School Pupils Protest Against Attempt To LGBTQ Bill In Nasarawa

You, ing kids denigrating the number one office of the land and its occupant shows the kind of convoluted upbringing you must have had.

For your information, the number one office commands respect whether you like it or not. The office does not earn it like you spuriously asserted.

Mr. Man, your post is nauseating and depicts someone who has not seen the four walls of a tertiary institution to be certified worthy of CHARACTER much less LEARNING.

"We are building a generation of illiterates. They are the first to comment on the internet on issues they are ignorant about"..... Prof. Wole Soyinka.

This is a despicable and utterly reprehensible act by these children.

Nobody should allow kids denigrate the office or person of the president.

This is an indictment on us all whatever our political leaning.

I may hold a strong aversion for my president but I can't condescend to such unruly behavior as depicted in this video.

The management of this school should be queried for dereliction of duty.

The number of Nigerians reported to have died from watching yesterday's match is worrisome.

Nairaland has reported 4 so far to my knowledge chief amongst them is Hon. Cairo ojugboh. There was the corper in Numan Adamawa state, Kwara varsity bursa and this fellow here.

I always tell people to instead watch replay or highlights if you know you have a heart condition or is very anxious during such games.

Even yours truly know wetin body tell me watching that match last night. Na today I begin get myself small small .

As far as the finals is concerned, I will be ing Nigeria in the spirit, I no get enough strength for live viewing again but if Nigeria can go 4 goals up , then I can rescind my decision and watch

His pastoral work does not interfere with his coperate job just like a choir master does not resign his job because of church activities.

The pastors and bishops that have brazenly dragged Christianity in the mud were even in the hierarchy of PFN

Good thing the dam has finally been completed after a long while on the drawing board and with so much money expended on the project.

The dam was originally conceived to act as a buffer against a possible collapse of the dam on lake Nyos in Cameroon.

We are not only getting a flood protection barrier but electricity generation, water supply reservoir, fishing industry and irrigation farming potential by building this dam.

I know many of us will not like my next line but special thanks still has to go to Buhari for inaugurating and completing this dam.

A fast economy relief.

1, For me i think fuel should come down below #350.
this will bring down transportation and gradually impact the economy and wellbeing from a little savings.

(Just imagine transporting 1k everyday to work plus feeding on a salary of 30k to 50k?)

2. Open the borders for food to come in. This is no longer cheap as the naira declined to cefa really fast. Even okrika clothes are now very expensive because of cefa exchange rate.
But atleast whatever can be gotten that is cheaper than what we have here should come in. And This will bring down some food price.

3.local indigenous vigilante to secure community and farm lands. This should encourage productivity in food security

Your first two prescriptions will Euthanize the already comatosed economy

What MUST be done:

1 Outright ban of the use of dollars within Nigeria.

2 Give holders of dollars a month to put it in the banking system after which it will be seized if found on the holders.

3 People like Herbert Wigwe charging tuition in dollars need to be compelled to pay his workers in dollars and also pay his electricity bills, diesel bills, and other expenses in dollars.

4 All BDCs must be heavily regulated and I'd dollars is sold to anyone, the reason must be compelling.

5 Arrest politicians found with dollars.

6 We can't afford to have s opened in foreign currencies within Nigeria. Our economy can't it.

7 Some of the things we import are not needed. Therefore impose a heavy tax on luxury cars, foreign wines, clothing, and food. Nigeria is a big market. The least Toyota and Honda owe us is to run assembly plants within Nigeria.

8 NNPC must be stopped from selling crude oil to local refiners in dollars.

You have said it all

Hypertension is that silent killer that lurks around quietly without any serious overt symptoms until diagnosed by a simple BP check.
