Some of us want to pay taxes, pay Land Use Charge but we see the Govt isn't serious in some states about streamlining tax payments. In Lagos, they charge Land Use and we pay diligently. This is why Lagos IGR for Q1 is almost N900 billion. Soon, Lagos will have an IGR of N4 trillion...and with partnership with Ogun State to extend the rail lines and all and revenue sharing, expect Lagos to climb into more trillions...once the Lagos Calabar and Badagry Superhighways are done. The question is ...why did it take 2 yrs to name people to fill these posts? Do not get me wrong...in the US, it takes years to fill some positions, but I believe politicians should have all these things in mind and create committees to look into it for the first 90 days. 6 months into any istration, people ought to be vetted and appointed given the life of an istration is 4yrs. 1st 6 months to vet, appoint and replace dead branches...you have the people's mandate Next 6 months for new appointees to put systems in place Next 2 yrs for Execution and Improvement Last Year for Campaign and explaining to the people the need for another 4yrs. Just my own FYI Infoguy666: |

First and foremost, let me start off saying I am married and have kids so I understand your desire to have a family of your own. I have been thinking so much about life and destiny a lot. - Some marry and their spouses will kill them - Some have kids and their kids will bring them sorrow and tears - Some marry and never have kids leading to sorrow and tears - Some stay unmarried and fail to fulfill destiny - Some marry, regret it and file for divorce - Some marry, and the spouse dies early leading to single life and single parenting - Some will marry and become Rich because of their spouses - Some will be Rich and go broke because of their spouses I think in all we do, we should just seek God's direction because truly NO ONE WAY FITS ALL. One of the things we need more of is investigative journalism. This is one area I would like to train people in, buy recording pens, glasses and other investigative tools. Once we start exposing the rots within the country, Nigeria will become a better place. The rots are everywhere. Hospitals Schools Police Force/Military and so on... Imagine if we can record and start exposing everyone...everyone will sit up. On top, put a bounty so for every leaked video, you make N5,000, N10,000. That will lead to the country that we all want. Some of our people are so quick to pay the Police too to get away from buying fire extinguisher, getting the proper vehicle documents and driving documents. Bullet01: |

Niger State has signed a deal with Lagos State to move Rice paddies to Lagos for Eko Rice. If Dangote is building a Rice Mill in Niger, how will Lagos get the paddies they want to use. This is going to be interesting. I hope Niger State can meet all these obligations. Putindbutt: |

This is why Nigeria is not moving forward. You are here blaming the enforcers. Why didnt PDP pay the Ground Rent? This has been in the news for almost 1 yr now. Come and try that in sane country, the govt will put a lien on the property within 2yrs, someone will buy the lien and the house will go on sale in foreclosure in less than 3yrs lol. 28yrs, No GroundRent and you blame Minister Wike. You are PART of the PROBLEM. techbro1: 5 Likes |

Do your work for NAFDAC? How do you know its the minority? Are they asking everyone not part of the Fake Drug area to pay? So Gov Soludo sees the injustice and he is silent too? Please allow VDM to continue to do what he does...VDM should have been screaming against all those Fake Drugs and fighting for those already dead since he cannot bring them back. What kind of Justice is this? Nonsense Justice for Criminals. chigo32:

Since you asked a legit question...Fact Check me...Govt do enter plea deals and ask for settlement as part of proceeds of crime. Clearly this crime is entirely for monetary gain...unless we are to believe it is entirely meant to kill Nigerians then we charge them with terrorism. Look up if govt enters into plea deals involving fines and settlements in the USA and you will get your answer. Google is your friend. DaveSolarSoluti: |

What is EVIL is selling fake drugs...you sound like you are one of the importers of fake drugs. All of you that have benefitted from fake drugs, may your children's childen never know peace. All the spirits of the people you have killed will continue to come after you and your generations. LilX2: |

Haaa I dont deserve it because my opinion is different from yours? In the USA, if a whole street is involved in criminal enterprise, they will shut everything down. I think we have very short memories. All the people they have killed with fake drugs...go and wake them up. If you cannot pay the fines, please leave the market and go and sell gala on the street. My only want - Govt should issue receipts and all funds must go into enforcement moving forward. In some parts of the US, Police can seize even cash and if you cant prove it...It is GONE. You can factcheck me Dafresh:

Since you dont know anything about abroad, let me educate you.. Investigation can take months and years abroad and you will never have access to the crime scene. It was not one shop indicted here, lots of shops so what we have is a MEGA crime scene. As part of investigation, people confess and report or take pleas..instead some of our people lied and denied and NAFDAC said people did not even come to claim the shops. Everyone acted dump including plumbing section storing drugs. You are MAD at the wrong people. It is like blaming the COPS for killing an armed robber because it was just things...but if there was no robbery, there wont be any shooting. Before you come online and make a fool of yourself calling people names...think and ask yourself, wil this make me look stupid? Blame those that peddled crimes and sales of fake drugs and everyone complicit in killing fellow Nigerians. NAFDAC is not your problem, and neither am I. Blame your FAKE DRUG criminals. chigo32: |

It is called restitution to the Govt...all the funds wasted by the Govt in investigating the crimes nko. The most important thing is for the funds to be documented and paid into the Govt coffers. You cannot bring back the dead but you must pay for your crime. You want prosecution and court...that will take years and their shops won't be open till after court orders it, so which is better?. Pay a serious fine and move on. In saner climate, govt will charge you and you must serve prison sentence then come out to pay restitution on top. That person will never balance jmoore: |

I have something similar...it minimizes space but they need to put pillars underneath and don't forget they will also add railings. Definitely more of an exit stair not the main one. The major concern is holding water on the stairs to the building ...you can take care of that with tiles and screeding. I've renovated and cut flats before and had to create new stairs for two exits. You make do with what you have. Amingol: |

South Africa took a position against Trump and was hailed...then went to the Lion's Den to beg and praise the Lion forgetting the Lion only sees Meat. Trump is not a man to be pacified...you either take on the fight like Russia or not take him on at all. Now, the SA President looks like an idiot. I wonder how he would look when he returns back to South Africa. I am sure the opposition would speak to this insult. Trump could care less. fergie001: 1 Like 1 Share |

I see people saying why drive an expensive car, why keep the money in ? Money crimes are the easiest to solve. It is possible for the person defrauded to report to the police say in the USA. FBI can EFCC and trace the funds to the receiving the money...even if you remove the funds and keep it in your house, does that stop the arrest and convictions? Upon all the money diverted to houses in Abuja, did Emefiele not lose them all? Even if you transfer funds to relatives, how will they explain the huge transfers from you to them abi will you collect these funds from POS? Abeg stay away from Crimes. Those that stole Covid-19 funds including a Nigerian Monarch are being prosecuted left and right. They will wait for you lol...only those in China and Russia without extradition can escape Justice. EFCC is now in synch with FBI and Interpol. You can RUN, but you CANNOT hide. Wisdom is profitable to Direct. adenigga: 3 Likes 1 Share |

What we should all pray is for our head to lead us to where it ought to go. Not everyone in Nigeria fails and not everyone that japa succeeds. SmartPolician: |
