It's a long story but I will try to abridge it.

Actually, under the Nigerian Criminal Code Act a husband cannot rape his wife. This is because 'rape' is defined as follows under the Act:

"Section 357. Definition of rape

The operative phrase here is "Unlawful Carnal Knowledge". Section 6 of the Act defines Unlawful carnal Knowledge as follows:

When the term "carnal knowledge" or the term "carnal connection" is used in defining
an offence, it is implied that the offence, so far as regards that element of it, is
complete upon penetration. "Unlawful carnal knowledge" means carnal connection which takes place otherwise
than between husband and wife".

So taking the definition of Section 6, any sexual intercourse between a husband and wife does not qualify as 'Unlawful carnal knowledge' and hence lacks the important element that defines rape.

It's a hotel. Nothing like an hotel. The 'H' is not silent. H is only silent in words like heir, honest, hour, honour.
So for any other word that starts with H, the H must be pronounced. Although some tribes in Nigeria find it hard pronouncing H, that does not mean you should write the way you pronounce.

Yes, it can build a standard 2 bedroom. Just do the following:
One toilet and one bathroom shared by the 2 rooms
One kitchen, one sitting room
No concrete parapet, just use flash boards
Use PVC ceiling
Use Cameroon Zink not long span aluminium (coloured cameroon zinc is beautiful)
Use direct labour
Use cheap China tiles. Avoid full wall tiling. 3/4 height tiling is okay for bathroom/toilet, while 1/2 height is okay for kitchen.

With an additional N1m you can have a 3 bedroom house with two toilets and bathrooms

If you must know, the pronunciation without the /h/ sound is still considered to be standard in England. Most native English speakers do not pronounce the /h/ sound.

Please it is "a hate speech" not "an hate speech". The 'H' in hate is not silent. You guys should stop writing English in your accent. There is nothing like an house, an host, an heaven, an horse, an harbor etc. You say an honest or an honour because the 'H' in both words is silent.

I do recognize that some Nigerian have a problem with pronouncing 'H' when it comes before a vowel, but that is not why we should be writing the way we pronounce.
