Following the hypersensitivity of the issues surrounding the lives and well-being of Nigerian citizens living in South Africa and to contribute his voice against the poor state of security regarding foreign nationals living in Africa, the Founder/Chairman of Zenith Bank Plc, Mr. Jim Ovia has withdrawn from further activities at the World Economic Forum Africa 2019, taking place in Cape Town, South Africa.
Before taking his exit, Mr. Ovia stressed the need for youth empowerment and better government policies to curb continual attacks on persons living within and outside Africa. He belaboured that until positive change towards collective growth happens on this front, the continent would not reach its potential.
Mr. Ovia added that full should be rendered in vocational education of the young persons living in not just Nigeria but Africa. According to him, the Jim Ovia Foundation has taken up a stance on this issue, having empowered over 3,500 students and entrepreneurs since its inception. He called on other of the private sector to hands and solve this menace plaguing the African continent.

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has announced the appointment of Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Chief of Staff (CoS), Igbere TV reports.
This comes weeks after his inauguration in office, May 29.
While Mr. Olatokunbo Joseph Talabi was announced as Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Salisu was named Chief of Staff.
In a statement personally issued by the governor and sent to Igbere TV on Saturday, he said the appointment is with immediate effect.

You are wrong my brother/seplat. Seplat was founded by Avuru and Orjiakor. At a time, they owned almost 60% of the entire shareholding. They have sold quite a lot of shares, and Mr. Avuru is now the highest shareholder. ABC Orjiakor is still the Chairman, and Enerst Ebi has never been on the board of Seplat

This is a portion of the Benin-Lagos road located at Ishihor Benin city directly opposite the Army school of Supply and transport S&T barracks Isihor. this bad road usually leaves many commuters stranded especially after a heavy downpour as many drivers will bluntly refuse to take that routes for fear that their buses would be damaged. many vehicles have been damaged in this portion of the road and only a brave few would dare to take that risk.
Shops and business owners cited along the expressway have been made to count their losses as that road is inaccessible by customers. even the popular Megom bar and Osunpec filling station can only enjoy services during dry season and the latter has since closed its business.
DANGERS!!!
Many drivers in other to avoid this bad and over flooded portion of the road have decided to take the ONE WAY route which has claimed the lives of many road s. even the soldiers in the barracks are guilty of taking this ONE WAY route that led to the death of a female UNIBEN student some years ago.
APPEAL!!!
We therefore call on the Federal Government and the ministry of work to come to the aid of road s and make sure that a proper drainage system is constructed. we plead that enough life has been lost already and a lasting solution be carried out.
please lets make sure this appeal gets to front page so the neccessary agencies will be aware!!!
