The craziness with corolla is annoying. The young man will be remitting close to 40k weekly to complete the 3.59m in 24 months, all in a bid to buy Coro when he can own his car with 1.4m

Forget the hype bro corolla is a damn strong car.

Fuvking hell that car can take a beating.

Wasted my money before buying a kia until I couldn’t take it and sold that shi.t.

You see this corolla, even with all the many many faults still dey move. Don’t try it with any other brand. You’d be frustrated. The car is a fucking beast.

Best part is the spare parts are cheap!

The deal is not a good one though. 24 months of paying salary is not gonn be easy. He doesn’t need to get an 010 corolla, the regular 03-06 is the best for the job because the car go collect walahi.

You are blessed bro.
Its not just about profit but ion, knowledge and understanding is the key.
Its not a 1+1 business like ehailing.
Just like sexylassie earlier said. flu can visit and kill all the birds if its poultry. While crops can die as a result of pests, climate conditions etc.
Farming is beyond all these 2 -4 weeks vocstional trainings people .
It requires deep knowledge to succeed in it. Though, it still remain one of d best business in the country.
Sorry for derailing the thread as this is ehailing thread

There’s agricultural insurance now.

Dad taught him about oil (knew him from school as his junior). He was always at our house. Till today he always invited, we never go. If you've read any of his biographies you've read about their relationship.

Plus as an only child I was always sheltered. Babangida, Buhari, Dangote, Alakija, etc I was kept well away from their children and taught to be humble. I being in a couple of bridal parties though.

Not insinuating but giving you the truth, the hypocrisy of Nigerians is strange.

Nigerian like you, will look down on roadside mehanics, call drivers and conductors names, treat their house girl or house boy like slaves, disrespect gatemen but then again want respect from people. Isn't respect reciprocal.

No matter, how you see uber or taxify job do not be deceived, it might be owned by a foreign company but it still falls under driving.

It might be a hard truth for you to swallow , the job isn't a prestigious job, you don't need certificates or a higher degree of education to be qualified as one.

Do you know, how to know a prestigious job? It is the way people/society treats you, the respect you get, have you seen people talking to a pilot or a captain in the Navy anyhow, No, because of the prestige and the respect of the job, if people respect a profession, they will never talk rude to you.

I have done extensive research on Nigerians and I can confidently write many Nigerians are liars, they overexagerate everything, from their qualification to their even their personal life, I never take seriously anything a Nigerian says at first value until I have done a thorough background check.

Nairaland, is the real picture of Nigeria, the too much ego, the lies, the scams, the deceit, Nigerians, will take pictures with a top a govt official they met in a function, then use that same picture as a proof that he works with that official, or try to deceive people with that picture to get contract. you can never do a business with a Nigerian and sleep well, you must have hypertension, I guess that is why it is common here.

You may hate me, I don't care, I say my truth as I see it.

Every Nigerian is a millionaire, works in chevron, and lives in Vi and lekki until you start to do your own check, then the pieces starts coming together.

While what you doing is really commendable, it’d be super swell if you can learn a professional skill, even if it takes 2 or more years to learn. Learn a skill and you will never go hungry.

There’s no telling about the future of ehailing in Nigeria so don’t put your mind in it. Don’t be carried away by the money you’re making now bro. Please try to learn a valuable skill. Be fruitful.

Its why its a beautiful world...we disagree to agree.

Was on my way back from the Niger Delta today with one of the popular public transport system with lots of years in the business. Guess what? The driver was sleeping seriously while on steering. I was at the front seat and was also very tired and dosing off as well because I couldn't bear it, I noticed the slightly zigzag and eractic movement so I'd to sit up and then engaged him in discussion... He said it him self he was sleeping!.

No imagine the risk this driver is putting his life and that of his engers and other people at even including his company and their property.

Now, the last aircraft crash that happened, was it last or there about. There was lot of report it was due to inexperience by the pilot. All lies.

The truth is, most employers dont provide the enablung2 environment for their workers rather are just after their business and profit.

Most or even all of these public transport companies don't have rooms for their drivers to rest after a long trip not to talk of even a bathing room or a toilet or even self a HMO should they or their family fall sick along the line of duty. Go to their park every night you'll see them sleeping inside their car/bus the once that the day was good for them spend the night in either their concubine's house or with a sex worker with few hours sleep in the night and the next morning they're on the road driving putting people's life and property at risk.

Can we boldly call a 20yrs old boy a grown up man in nigeria? @Dru23 that boy is still a child oh this is not United State of American where a child of 20 is regarded as a man oh... Over here in Nigeria we still have men in their 40s still living under their parwnts roof they still chop and say "mama thank you ma". So that child is still a boy.
I won't allow my child of 20 take a driving job, it's high to him.

You need to the way these children drive on the road. Esp these coro boys, doing 80kmph on a busy road. It is that madness? The annoying one is they will never allow you enter their front but the way they will enter your enh!

You do make a solid case but that is why you as a partner-driver have total control of your earnings.

You can make your rental in 5 days and do whatever with the remaining 2.

Granted, a hard-working partner-driver needs some time off, but if he/she plans the job well, there won’t be any need for permission to rest.

I’m more worried about the exposure on the 20 year old ehailers than their speed. Bros talk true you no fire motor die when you be that age?

Morning bro, im not discouraging anyone. To me Uber biz is still lucrative to an extent.
Of course a driver can make 100k consecutively, but for how long? Let partners know what they're getting into. IT CAN NEVER BE ROSY EVERY WEEK.
I only wish any driver willing to drive 20hrs for 7days just to earn 100k well.. But don't come online and put it on the others faces like they don't know what they're doing. The fact I drive for uber doesn't mean I should have grey hair @ age 30

25-30k is a fair rental fee but the owner maintains the car.

Any serious person would have no trouble remitting except on special occasions which is rare.

Hahahaha 20 hours for 7 days straight, how now?

I really don’t get all the talks about sleep and overwork.

The partner gives you his car to work with and remit 30k for a week. How you work out that money is your ‘job’, the owner didn’t speculate your work hours. You have to look for a way to plan your ‘job’.

Any serious person that takes off by 6am should have no business keeping late nights (except on special occasions which I’m sure would be well worth it)

People will always be people, constituting of both sensible and senseless ones. The sensible ones are smiling at least 4 days out of 7.

Can a driver make 100k on bolt/uber in a week? YES
Can a driver make 100k on bolt/uber "every week"? DEFINITELY NO
■ Every week ain't December
■We're humans not robots
■Even Robots go through servicing sometimes
■You drive a "car". Even if you don't get tired, your car will
■YOU WILL DIE A PAINFUL AND UNTIMELY DEATH IF YOU THINK YOU'RE WISER THAN NATURE
Drink Tramadol all you like, When the time comes, Your partner moves on, Uche moves on (not like he noticed you anyways) and this thread will surely move on...
And Dru stop filling my mention with your annoying memes, you're only sending those guys to their early graves. 4k you and your motivational speakers!
Gnite

While making 100 every other week might seem impossible, one can achieve a strike rate of 85% consistently. A lot of people out there gross more than that week in week out.

All you need is a plan....actually you don’t really need a plan, just have common sense.

You guys should stop discouraging investors. Let them have a taste of the pie or die.

we have people looking for cars to drive. If investors don’t bring in cars, what will happen to them?

Lagos is a sweet market for anything because we are a diverse people, same thing for other big cities around the world.

If you intend to invest that big in ehailing, you need to approach it from another angle.

What tools are these guys using? Does it mean bolt has integrity issues and can not be trusted?

Card payments is a no no for now on bolt.

Ever since i have been following this page,i have noticed, they put more pressures on drivers than it should be, some of my friends doing this e-hailing business are not even aware of hackney and lasdri till today until the message was sent to them by Uber group.
Anytime i put a call across to them and ask them about all these stuffs going on here, they be like....E no concern them, that na me know where i dey get my info.

Apart from collective efforts of retrieving money from die-hard riders, nothing is special here.
too much of foul languages used by jobless drivers. lol

See your mouth. It was this same platform that you got almost the information and experience before you embarked on your ehailing journey, yes/no?

When an area on the map is having red color with odd written in it I thought it's signifies traffic on request. How come one in the center of it but not getting request for like an hour?!

Which kind scam soji be that na

Riders are afraid of uber’s surge. Bolt is a cheaper alternative when it comes to surge. That’s why you must get a request in 10 seconds max when you’re in bolt’s surge area.

Please who knows that driver should tag him and tell him to send his number.

I have been firing this beech from all angles.

N.B

The driver should add extra 5k on top for damages and demurrage. When he gets the extra 5k, please buy at least 4k worth of recharge card and be ing them here. Fastest fingers wins!

This is to encourage us to have more arsenal to attack these hoes and criminals that try to short change us!

After that, we package her profile, issues, runz and outings and take to her parents.

So lagos state aka jagaban is really the one behind all the vio brouhaha. It has not stopped there guys, they will chase uber and other ones out with frustration.

These people are really greedy. Brace up guys and look for alternative source of income because I’m not sure they’d be able to manage their app properly, leading to the death of ehailing in lagos or Nigeria as a whole.

It Is Well.

So, per chance, if VIO says LASG has mandated it to demand Hackney permits and LASDRI from e-hailing drivers and the e-hailing companies' say, "Don't mind LASG's demand for Hackney permit and LASDRI. Just continue with your rides," you will go with the e-hailing companies?

We were anticipating it not looking for a way around it.

Of course we knew we were gonna go with lagos govt if they dialogued with the ehailing companies.

Now that they have mandated uber/bolt, the only reasonable thing to do is to communicate to partners which they have.

Get your head outta your ass, It stinks.

Bruh I was not arguing for points. I was only telling oga to calm the fvck down until they (ehailing companies) make it official.

Now that they have, it’s in one’s best interest to get it. Simple.
