Who and where do they want to bomb with it? I think police needs more of sophisticated guns and ground battle. These liabilities will only destroy the state more and innocent properties.
These are armoured personnel carriers not tanks. Unless modified, these things do not 'bomb'. They are used to safely transport troops or security operatives.

Demdem: Nothing in that picture suggests wike bought them. Even the blogger only made a guess.
It's a good guess because if they where federal owned and meant for military use:
1. they would likely have been in camo by now (never seen military apc's in black)
2. it is unlikely the feds would purchase only 6 apc's for the Niger delta issue. This suggests short term and reactive planning which is inefficient for military operations.however, this numbe rof apc's is sufficient for the interior security of the state (in addition ot what must already be available).
3. Operation crocodile smile which commenced weeks ago; all necessary equipment should already be on ground
4. You can see police escorts in the background, in one of the pics

Orji Kalu was wrong, Nigeria was rated as the third best place for foreign investment destination in 2014.
That does not mean the economy was not slipping into a recession. What most of you do not realize is that intermittent recessions are a fact of economic life and every country experiences them, in the course of growth. The problem we have today is that Nigeria suffered simultaneously from a massive drop in oil prices which worsened the extent of the recession, and it has worsened further thanks to militancy putting a massive dent in oil production.

No naaaaa ....Yakubu's miss can't be quantified He wasn't even required to do anything with the ball as it was already programmed to hit his shin and bounce into the net. Naaaa hin over sabi mind make am wan guide the ball
Actually, it seems like he was focusing so much on the development of the play that he forgot the location of the post...if you have played you football you will understand how this may be possible. it happens but it's no excuse for a top player, especially one like Yakubu who has proven his caliber over and over again

really
but which is worse
You can't even begin to compare the two. Yakubu's own was so bad that from that angle you literally have to be aiming to play the ball out for you to miss like he did. But if you have ever played football you will understand what happened with Ighalo... first the ball was almost on the edge of the 18 yard box (whereas Yakubu is on the edge of the 6 yard box ); second, the ball takes a slight bounce for Ighalo, right before he hits it and that changes everything, so you have to have really good technique or at least be very composed to strike it first time from that distance. Anyone could miss that, even though it looks so easy when you are watching it from the couch.

CHRIST WAS NEVER AGAINST ANY WOMAN LEADING, SHE HAS NEVER REBUKED ANY WOMAN FOR PLAYING LEADERSHIP POSITION IN THE CHURCH. CHRIST MAY NOT WANT ANY CONTROVERSY TO TEAR APART HIS MINISTRY DUE TO JEWISH LAW THAT FORBIDS WOMAN TO LEAD, PROBABLY THAT S FOR THE REASON WHY THERE IS NO WOMAN IN HIS 12 DISCIPLES.
THE CRUCIAL POINTS ARE, HAS GOD EVER BEEN ANNOYED WITH A WOMAN BEING A PROPHET. Consider the following
1. MIRIAM
“Then the prophet Miriam, Aaron’s sister, took a tambourine in her hand; and all the women went out after her with tambourines and with dancing. And Miriam sang to them: ‘Sing to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously; horse and rider he has thrown into the sea’” (Exodus 15:20-21).
2. DEBORAH - was a prophetess and a judge in Israel
“At that time Deborah, a prophetess, wife of Lappidoth, was judging Israel. She used to sit under the palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim; and the Israelites came up to her for judgment” (Judges 4:4-5).
3. Isaiah wife was a prophetess - Isaiah 8:3
4. Huldah was a prophetess - 2 Kings 22:14
5. Noadiah was a prophetess
“ Tobiah and Sanballat, O my God, according to these things that they did, and also the prophetess Noadiah and the rest of the prophets who wanted to make me afraid” (Nehemiah 6:14).
Being a prophet or prophetess does not mean you are a church leader. Anyone in the body can have the gift of prophecy or have the office of a prophet, but may not be called to be the leader of a church.
Now concerning your suggestion that Jesus may have tried to avoid upsetting the jews, i will ask you to read your bible again. Jesus was no pleaser of man! And if being a prophetess meant being a leader in the way you are suggesting then why would the jews have had any issues with Jesus having female leaders, or with there being females among His 12 disciples, given that there is indeed a significant history of female prophetesses?
Now, we have spoken about what you think, let us talk about what the bible actuallly says in very clear :
1. 1 Cor 14: 34-35 34Womenf should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. 35If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.g
36Or did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only people it has reached? 37If anyone thinks they are a prophet or otherwise gifted by the Spirit, let them acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command.
2. Tim 2:11-12 A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. 11Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. 11A woman must quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. 11Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 11A woman should learn in silence with full submission.
12I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet.
do i need to say more?

You be real dunce! Maybe a "#Wailing-dunce"!
Honestly, you are too naive to know how intelligence/interrogation works.
Let me just remind you that the US Dept of Justice just convicted and fined Dutsche Bank the sum of $17 Billion for offences committed mostly leading to the collapse of 2007/2008. That is how long it takes at times, to "charge and convict" in Financial crimes where crooks are adept at hiding the evidence (I know they set fire to it in Nigeria.... l just hope Skye Bank HQ does not catch fire very soon ).
The EFCC would never rush to arrange Shepopotamus in court without first ensuring the case is water-tight. To do that, they need to FIRST "pluck" what is called the "low-hanging fruits" - The easier to convict accomplices!
EFCC also needs to "preserve evidence of crime" by freezing the bank s.
When she wins the case, she would have access to "her money". Its not going to run away
The summary of it is that all those with whom she committed the financial crimes will be FIRST "SOFTENED", (convicted but with sentences "suspended" ... and then used as state witness against her.
The daft thief has forgotten that there are Paper-trails of spending from the , CCTV captures of payments/withdrawals abroad using the 4-Platinum cards, CAC Company registration certs, Bank staffs (in serious gbegen!) - all waiting to speak/witness against her!
She cant rail-road the Agency into charging her to court when the case is not tight enough - Judge will simply throw it out for lack of "tight, incontrovertible evidence".
If she is in a hurry, she can '"deliver" her PROOF of LEGITIMATE OWNERSHIP of the funds (showing what work she did and how she earned over $20 Million Dollars, how much she has in her before her husband became President, whether the money was declared, whether tax was paid on it, e.t.c)
The Greed and foolishness of this Patience is legendary and l have a feeling she would be the first "wife of an Ex-President" that goes to jail for this sort of criminality.
To be rich is not to loot the Nations treasury, that is criminality!
Or is she richer than Aliko Dangotte?, who we can all see what he manufactures, produce and sell, to earn his Billions.

if you look at the posts of the person you quoted you should know she will not be able to understand this...why bother?

Insightful post.
Whoever is guilty of corruption should be disciplined but there should be no rationalizing of witch hunting unless we intend to mock ourselves.
PEJ has not been found guilty by a court of law so why all this media crucifixion
1. She cannot be found guilty by a court of aw because she has not been charged with any crime
2. She does not need to be found guilty for people to condemn her because she has already confessed to ownership of laundered money, the amount of which should ordinarily be beyond her means.
3. You must understand that the justice system is not, and is not meant to be the sole custodian of morality and justice in a society. Public opinion and the media exists as a powerful measure to check and balance any deficiencies in the judiciary and other arms of government(and you will probably agree with me that her in Nigeria we have quite a fe of these deficiencies).

Are you genuinely complaining because you don't see the sense or because it has become fashionable to do so?
I'll tell you that Nigeria has a serious security situation that is desperately affecting the economy in more ways than one. While oil production is the one we all hear about, you should know that instability drives away potential investors from other sectors; thus, investing in security is an extremely valid and valuable investment in economic prosperity.

1. It depends on the scale you chose to do. Outside the pen, as low as 20k would startup on a small scale.
2. It also depends, Since they consume over 80% of what humans eat, vegetable, etc. Some of which can be freely sourced/cultivating their feed (vegetables). Calcium Supplement is mainly what could cost some money. About #350 a sachet.
3. If proper marketing strategy is in place. 80-150% can be achieved.

FFK a Yoruba man wrote an article claiming to have facts because of his access and position as a (former) minister of aviation. Instead of some people to set aside their political & tribal bigotry and listen to what this man has to say, the imbéciles are blaming Ibos and "iPod yoots" yet we wonder why we can't move forward in this country when we're fond of throwing away the baby with the bath water.
It's a bit interesting that the former minister claims to have had access but has not presented any evidence. Surely in his position he could easily have photocopied and preserved a memo or two?

This is not the Nigerian army Not every American Army is signed up for active duty, even if you sign up for active duty, you will never go to war
In New York alone, every county has it's own Army unit, There are more than 1 million Army personnel in New York, there are about 50 million army personnel in USA, now tell me, do you think that 1 million will just go to fight a war
That's not a new thing
Almost all the Nigerians i know here in the USA are in the army
We stay at home all day, go to training for only 4 hours every month and gets paid every month.
maybe you should use your spare time on education.
1. You would have been smart enough to know that no army in the world sends all it's troops into battle. In the Nigerian Army there are medical, finance, PR and other corps.

Now, though it pains me to take time out to address you, here is the truth: if their sister's, who are innocent, experience such, how would it affect the men who you say, are saying that it is not rape?
Shouldn't you be wishing for the men themselves to get raped?

1. When you asked "@ the bolded, in what way does this make the US military different from any military anywhere in the world"? I don't think you read the things you write before you post them.
2. We are the best in the world. Why? Because we think and it is an NCO driven army. What that means is in charge of training and leading soldiers. It also means if an officer dies in battle, the fight continues. The NCO takes charge unlike most military in the world. I recently just got back from the baltic Nations were we are trying to teach this concept. And yes. We are better trained and Equipped. Go to Grafenwoer and you will understand. Even British Soldiers come to us for training.
3. Quote where i ever said that. There is freedom because we fight for it on a daily bases. Unlike Nigeria. We are a country because we fought the british for it. Get your fact right.
4. The stark difference between you and i is recognizing a lost battle. Especially with people like you who are in the millions thinking the way you do in Nigeria. There is no hope for a country where the mentality is phucked up. I'd rather fight for my right to exist in a country that welcomes me with open arms and provides immensely for me and my family. If i die in service for America, my wife will be taken care off for the rest of her life plus a payment of more that half a million dollars. What would Nigeria give me?
You know it's funny how you so eagerly snatch at the opportunity to belong to the US but you consistently show that your mind does not understand the ideals and principles that nation holds dear. I won't bother to respond to the "points" you raised because i can see now that you are not college educated (ur an NCO or below abi? plus your diction is filled with vulgarities), hence your lack of comprehension and inability to see beyond a meal ticket.
Your last line is quite interesting though. What would Nigeria give you?
Have you never heard these words from a great American president, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country". ?
I am glad we do not have people like you in Nigeria. The more of you disloyal, self centered and unpatriotic elements we can get rid of, the better for us as a nation.
Further, since you believe Nigeria to be a lost cause and you are now identifying with the Americans, what are you looking for on nairaland? That one is for you and the man in the mirror to ponder on.
