Problem with this kind of opinion is the intention behind it. There are ppl that if someone farts anywhere in Lagos and it smells, they blame Tinubu. This security outfit was formed by all the governors in the SW. All these governors are APC except Makinde but you want us to believe Tinubu had nothing to do with its formation or Tinubu isn't doing anything behind the scenes wrt the nonsense the AG is trying to pull? C'mon! Say what you will about Tinubu but he'll always be on the side of the SW even if for selfish reasons. 1 Like |

Lmfaoo!! Lawyers too had to chop so it is what it is. I can't just believe Atiku went ahead with this. Maybe there's something we're missing

koboko69: I'm not in the opposition but what that person said is a 100% accurate. It's become increasingly difficult to see what these guys are doing. The kidnappings, police brutality, insecurity is increasing everyday and it feels that's no accurate response. But because some folks say Buhari won't come on day they told us he will and he came back the presidency has turned that into some sort of victory. No press releases for a host of items really affecting our country but a press release for a president returning to work as they said. The bar is becoming lower everyday 1 Like 1 Share |

It's one thing saying phasing out petrol cars at a certain time isn't feasible, it's another thing saying they need to frustrate the sales of electric cars. Why frustrate sales?? The power situation in the country is already enough to affect sales of these cars but why go to the extent of frustrating. These are our leaders and it's scary. The world is moving on from fossil fuels, that horse has left the barn and its not going back. Whether we like it or not, dependence on fossil fuels will reduce over time. Instead of these guys to see what other industry could be created from this, this guy is saying let's frustrate it. I worry for our country and it feels like there's no bright spot anywhere

Na wa for Atiku o, so someone has just chopped $30k like that? Is it $30k they want to use to tell Mike Pompeo to take back what he said already? Atiku's desperation is really making come off as not smart at all. I guess his court case is already falling apart.. eyah!! This guy has probably made some serious commitments to certain folks or maybe he feels some licenses that'll affect him won't he renewed

But seriously not everything needs a rebuttal. Pls who doesn't believe Nigerians can do this? I can see this happening very very well. There was a time stupidly rich Nigerians would take a flight to London first then fly to Abuja cos they didn't want to fly local flights.

This is the person some aliens wanted to run Lagos. Ordinary campaign money he chopped it. I wonder what would have happened if he has access to Lagos state money. He collected money even for presidential, I didn't see him campaign for Atiku once. He got money for his own election, the man kept his money and did nothing. All he had to do was shout a certain ethnic group a couple of times for those ones to get hyped. For all those ppl that Tinubu is their nightmare, they'll close their eyes to this. I see some of them already mentioning Tinubu's name. Tinubu isn't the cause of the problems in your life, the earlier you guys accept the better. Tinubu actually didn't need to make any deal with Agbaje to win Lagos, however with Agbaje's cunning ways, he just made it easier. I wonder if Lagos too is part of una oga tribunal case?? These are party publicly stating the reason they failed so woefully

So South Easterners all of a sudden don't mind that a Northerner keeps ruling us. Bunch of hypocrites all of you. Anyway if we all want to be silly let APC too field another Northerner, let them keep ruling us. Let's know we've permanently dashed them presidency

So we're not talking rigging at the polls anymore. As a matter of fact, the defence is Buhari scored more than he did?? Again we're not talking about Buhari not actually scoring 15m. I thought the initial argument was Buhari couldn't have gotten that many votes. This is going to be a comedy show. These guys see there's no way they can cancel the 4 million lead, now they're going the more votes route. Let's see where they want to pull the extra votes from maybe they've included all their likes from Nairaland & Twitter

400 witnesses out of how many? Anyway I ire Atiku’s fighting spirit. The plans the man had eh, he can’t let go. These are witnesses that have to prove their cases without any doubt. It’ll be interesting but again Atiku will never be president. No judge will overturn an election that was won with a margin of 3.9m votes. How do they think that candidate’s ers will react, it’s not even worth it. The positive outcome of this is, it’ll help improve our electoral process

They're giving Jimi too much credit. Pdp would have lost any which way. Jimi that was chopping campaign money alone, imagine him becoming governor. Anyway we're not ready for PDP in Lagos yet

ferhyntorlah: He surrounded himself with the absolutely worst advisers. He basically just surrounded himself with people that told him what he wanted to hear. It was one of his advisers that was leaking info about Fashola when they first got in, young guy, I'm not sure how they thought that was a good move. The best way to make Fashola look bad would have been with achievements not the high school tactics they were using. A lot of decisions he made just made you wonder what kind of ppl he had around him 4 Likes |

eyinjuege: You guys always listen and learn from people that know. This person knows. It's always funny when ppl say Tinubu wanted to get rid of Ambode. All Tinubu did was go along with the deafening complaints from everyone else. The people that helped Ambode get in didn't even have access to him. Ambode got there and went on this vindictive campaign against Fashola. He basically halted all Fashola projects and refused to pay any debt he inherited because he thought paying those contractors was empowering Fashola. Also like was said above, Lagos became way dirtier on his watch. He gave billion naira projects to friends including girlfriends over qualified ppl. He had few friends that mostly benefited from LASG projects. If PDP ppl are complaining about Agbaje as being selfish and not a team player and they replace him with Ambode, well they basically would have just chosen the same person with a different face. The projects Ambode carried out were part of the APC Lagos masterplan of which he failed at, so when you see some projects he did, it's part of the plans that was given to him to continue but he didn't carry them out as he should have. Also I've never seen a governor that workers at the secretariat dislike as much as him. Workers will be openly complaining. Ambode has no clout in Lagos politics, let him defect, he'll be defeated massively. At that point all his sins they've covered up will be exposed 9 Likes |

Everything you wrote up there is wrong obviously. However your #5 is the most hilarious. Sanwo-Olu's engagement is out of this world. That man is everywhere, I'm sure that man has been to every part of Lagos, the guy is acting like the underdog. If his campaign is anything like how his istration is going to be, then Lagos is going to get a very hardworking hands on governor. I only see Jimi online and maybe debates

9jaArea: They actually have service stations around Lagos. I know at least 3, Oshodi, Anthony & Yaba. Equipments fully supplied, installation going on but contractors waiting for Ambode to pay. This has been his problem so far, swift payments. It's not like Ambode doesn't have ideas but he's very bad with paying contractors, also speaking from personal experience 4 Likes 1 Share |

All these people making noise about vote buying, if you vote for a politician because he gave you a bottle of coke, you're the one that has issues not the politician. The coke is free, collect if you want and vote who you want.

TroubleMaker47: Less than 500k voted with card reader in Kano?? Kano?? I'm sorry to say but you people's limited and stereotypical view of the north doesn't help with your thinking and argument. You really think less than 500k will vote without card reader there? You realize Kano is a major state right? If you question Kano, you might as well question Lagos, Rivers, Anambra, Delta, etc. |
