I have come to realise that it is only Christians and Christian nations that always provoke muslims.

I was posted to Yola, Adamawa State November 2020. I rented an apartment at No 112 Zoo road, opposite the old ministry of works, in fact close to the Aisha club. Been a paramilitary man for two months I was well known in the neighborhood, people love me well well and I love them too.

After two days, as I was ing by, I saw her with another guy gisting (courtship), so I made sure she saw me. Then later, when I reached home I called to ed, that I saw her doing courtship in a public place and also in the daytime and why me only in the night. Her reply was "ai shi Mai gaskiya ne shi ya sa" meaning that the guy I saw them together he is a faithful guy.

We had sex in January 2021, as I was on top of her pumping it hard on her then I noticed the condom has burst. I stopped and said, "babe the condom has burst ooo" she replied " and so what?". These three months were like I was in hell, thinking about my wife my son my relatives, and how I was losing it. I went back in April 2021 still the result came out negative but the Doctor advised me to complete the six months to be sure. I waited for another three months. July 2021 I went for the test and it came out negative again.

So, this month August I have packed with my wife and son in Jimeta. The experience was terrifying I have learned a lot. Once saved it is saved forever. Play safe!

Gunmen have killed no fewer than 36 persons while several others were injured in a fresh attack which occurred in Ahwol Ward, Naraguta community, in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau state.

It was gathered that the gunmen stormed the community with sophisticated weapons around 10 pm on Tuesday night and killed the victims while several others who sustained injuries during the attack have been rushed to the Bingham University Teaching Hospital in Jos, the state capital.

The Paramount ruler of the Anaguta ethnic nationality in the state, Ujah Johnson Jauro confirmed the attack to The PUNCH in Jos on Wednesday

The Paramount ruler said, “Yes, it’s true. I have been informed that some gunmen attacked my people last night in Naraguta community with many casualties. But we are still investigating to know what really happened.”

The Councilor for Ahwol Ward in the community, Yusuf Ali, who also confirmed the attack, said that people were burnt alive in the affected area.

Another resident, Jeremiah Bulus, said, “corpses have been taken to the mortuary this morning and people are still making efforts to recover more corpses from several houses which the gunmen also set ablaze. The situation is really bad for the people ”

Two Katsina State House of Assembly on Monday burst into tears at a plenary deliberating over the issue of insecurity afflicting many Local Government Areas of the state.

The Deputy Speaker of the house, Alhaji Shehu Dalhatu-Tafoki, had earlier presented a motion of urgent public importance over the level of insecurity in the state at the plenary presided over by the Speaker, Alhaji Tasi’u Maigari.

According to Dalhatu-Tafoki, (APC Faskari), despite the efforts of the federal, state governments and the security agencies, the security problem was increasing everyday in the state.

He, therefore, called on the concerned government authorities and the security agencies to re-strategise their approach to tackling the rampant activities of bandits in Katsina.

Dalhatu-Tafoki noted that the issue of insecurity in Katsina State was worsening by the day, with more people being killed everyday as more Local Government Areas were being affected.

“There is a serious need for the security outfits in the state to increase their outposts across the state, especially the most insecurity affected areas.

“The outposts in those areas are not enough, they cannot overpower the bandits, despite the huge amounts of money being spent on them,” he said.

He also called on the general public to continue to pray for the return of peace all over the state.

In his contribution, Alhaji Haruna Goma (APC Dandume), representing Dandume constituency, said recently no fewer than 11 persons were killed in two communities of Dandume, while many were abducted.

While narrating the incident, the lawmaker burst into tears, saying that government should come to their aod before of the community end up being massacred.

Similarly, the member representing Funtua constituency, Alhaji Abubakar Mohammed, (APC Funtua), also shed tears as he narrated how for the past 40 days, bandits attacked their communities daily, killing scores and kidnapping many.

Also, the lawmaker representing Katsina constituency said the insecurity challenge was beyond imagination, as about 32 out of the 34 LGAs in the state were now affected, adding that even within Katsina metropolis, people were being kidnapped.

He called on the government to review its expenditure on security as there was no visible improvement.

Alhaji Jabir Yusuf (APC Batsari), representing Batsari constituency, described the recent killing of 12 people in Duba, a community in Batsari, as unfortunate.

After the long deliberations by the lawmakers, the assembly unanimously adopted the motion and called on all relevant authorities to look into the issue in the interest of those affected.

The house also resolved to hold a meeting with the National assembly from Katsina and also the state executive arm, to discuss the issue of insecurity.

The lawmakers also resolved to invite all heads of security agencies in the state and also the state’s committee on security, for solutions to the problem.
