Manchester United is the most valuable franchise in sports at$2.23 billion US, according to Forbes magazine’s annual survey.
The English Premier League team, owned by the same American family that owns the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is ranked on top thanks to lucrative global sponsorship deals.
Second is another soccer team, Real Madrid, at $1.88 billion. The New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys are tied for third at$1.85 billion.
Rounding out the top five are the Washington Redskins at $1.56 billion.
The Los Angeles Dodgers and New England Patriots are tied for sixth at $1.40 billion, followed by FC Barcelona at $1.31 billion, the New York Giants at $1.30 billion, and Arsenal at $1.29 billion. The Dodgers recently were sold for $2 billion, the most for any professional sports team.
All 32 NFL teams make the list of 50 most valuable franchises, with the Jacksonville Jaguars last among the pro football clubs at$725 million.
Seven major league baseball teams earned spots, with the Texas Rangers the lowest at $674 million, No. 50 overall.
The highest value for an NBA team belongs to the Los Angeles Lakers at $900 million, 35th overall. Only one other NBA franchise, the New York Knicks, make the list with $780 million, No. 43.
No NHL clubs made the survey, but two from Formula One racing were included: Ferrari at $1.1 billion to rank 15th, and McLaren at $800 million.

THIS IS MY STORY:
I live in kaduna, kakuri precisely. On August 9th 2005, 4:13pm if i ed vividly. A house in my street was set ablaze on fire due to fault of NEPA at that time.
I was among the people who were rushing in and out trying to help and rescue the victims and properties of fellas amidst the fire. While bringing the properties out, i saw some notes of money. I dropped what i was carrying and i took the money and went out of the building quietly.
I rushed home, feeling so excited. I counted the money, it was #2500. I was so broke at that time and i just consoled myself by saying,"MAYBE IT'S MY LUCK." Not to think that i actually stole it.
But the fact still remains, anytime i think about that decision i made by not returning the money. I still feel some stains of guilt on me.
AND THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER: "I DIDN'T SPEND THE MONEY WISELY BECAUSE I DIDN'T WORK FOR IT"

The Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi(FUAM) has released the results of candidates who sat for her 2012/2013 post-utme screening exercise held earlier last month(16 and 23 of june 2012).
The results is available for checking as all results have been pasted on the notice boards within the University premises.
All students who sat for the examination are therefore advised to go and check their result in the University.

I studied engineering in Unilag and finished with 2.1 and wen I hear ow pple who are nt as smart as me get 1st class and 2.1 likewise in CU and Bowen and the likes I smell something fishy....Cos I really worked and studied hard in that UNILAG and I couldn't make a 1st class.... ndudichukwumah: I hav almost 10 student dat did jamb with me and uniben postume and frm d aggregate score I hav for my student show dat d jamb score was divide by 16 not 8 has usual,because one my student had 32 in d screen scored and aggregate score of 48,wbich is jamb score of 260 was divided. By 16 which is equal. To. 16.25 + 32 screening score=48 agregate score
So dis year dey did not divide d score of jamb by 8 but is 16...so walk out ur jamb score and add to ur screening score and u observe wat I am saying.

If i am woken up to answer the jamb biology questions; i will them and get a range of mark from 80-90, but to my greatest surprise; i got 51 in biology; furthermore in chemistry ,english and physics dat i did well and cross checked my answers with Text Books, but the stupid jamb gave me an aggregate of 208..... Gussshhhh, that can't be my score in my slightest thinking. I'm so devasted and confused.... The score is too minimum for my course and university of choice, but i leave everything in God's hand to take control...... God will punish JAMB!!!
