I love it so much when our Security forces gain an upper hand over bandits and terrorists.

Unfortunately this only happens once in a while.

So sad.

Significant anomalies include 1,477 streetlight projects worth N393.29 billion

393,000,000,000 divided by 1477 = 266,079,891 Per Street light!

These street lights will hardly last for 5 years.

538 boreholes totalling N114.53 billion

114,000,000,000 divided by 538 = 211,895,910 Per borehole

Naija we hail thee...

It is lucrative but you need iron balls to handle it.

2014 I bought a bike for okada business. The bike ed through the hands of EIGHT guys
each with a horrible story.

The 7th guy after owing me for a month went and printed his own obituary and pasted it around
my street. I got to his house for condolence only to meet his surprised parents.

The 8th guy had an accident with the bike and scattred it badly. He then pushed the bike early in
the morning and parked it under a mango tree that was beside my shop.
My shop was directly opposite an Ashewo house so when I came to the shop and saw the bike, I thought
it belonged to one of the ashewo customers.

Around 10am that morning I went out to buy food and as I was coming back the bike was still there
inside my mind I was thinking that how long this guy wan knack, na the whole day him go spend there?

Now I have a bad habit of reading vehicle number plates, most of the time I do it unconsciously.
So as I approached the mango tree, my eye unconsciously caught the number plate of the bike

My mind stopped for a second! I silently prayed that it should be a mistake but men, it was my bike.

I pushed it into the shop, got a mechanic to fix it and sold it.

If Nigeria was a normal country, things like this would be overlooked.

But things are not normal. Take the actions of those people at face value at your own peril.

Every tiny bit of their move needs to be thoroughly interrogated.

They will never allow this in their domain, what makes them feel others should allow it.

Promise and fail is a sin

NOTE: This post is a general advice to all of us on the power of a promise. It's not directed against the First Lady.

On a bitterly cold night, a billionaire was walking through the streets when he encountered an old, poor man shivering in the cold. The billionaire, dressed in his warm, luxurious coat, couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for the man. He approached him and asked, "Don't you feel cold being outside without a coat?"

The old man looked up, his eyes reflecting years of hardship and resilience. "I don't have a coat," he replied, "but I've gotten used to the cold."

The billionaire, moved by the man's plight, said, "Wait here. I'll go inside my house and bring you a coat." The old man's face lit up with hope and gratitude. "Thank you," he said, "I'll wait for you."

The billionaire hurried into his grand mansion, intending to fetch a coat for the old man. However, once inside, he got distracted by the warmth and comfort of his home. He became engrossed in his evening routine, enjoying a hot meal and the company of his family. The promise he made to the old man slipped from his mind.

The night grew colder, and the old man waited patiently outside, his hope keeping him warm. Hours ed, and the cold began to seep into his bones. He clung to the promise of the coat, believing that help was on its way. But as the night wore on, his strength waned, and he succumbed to the freezing temperatures.

In the morning, the billionaire ed the old man and rushed outside, only to find him lifeless on the ground. A note was clutched in the old man's hand. It read, "When I didn't have any warm clothes, I had the power to fight the cold because I was used to it. But when you promised me help, I got attached to your promise, and that took away my power to resist."

The billionaire was struck with a profound sense of guilt and sorrow. He realized that his well-intentioned promise had inadvertently caused the old man's demise. The promise, which had meant little to him, had meant everything to the old man.

While a promise might seem insignificant to you, it could mean the world to someone else.

In the giant of Africa she'd be giving intelligence to her tribesmen to enable them to attack other tribes, kill them and occupy their lands because their fore father told them "he will dip their religious book" in the atlantic ocean.

Nigeria is really a cruise country.

Why is it that things that are really as simple as ABC in other countries are rock science in Nigeria?

This country is really tiresome.
Because if they are as simple as ABC in Nigeria, it will be difficult to manipulate the system.

So make them as complex as possible to enable corruption.

If he single-handedly destroyed the PDP, then Wike did what?

Be honest with yourself abeg
His destruction of the PDP started in 2015 when he teamed up with his fellow Fulani people in APC to defeat Goodluck Jonathan. The spirit of what he did in 2015 will continue to haunt him.
