The only way in my opinion to put a stop to the rampant corruption in the Nigerian government is to enact the Chinese government style zero tolerance for corruption with harsh punishments. Unfortunately, the Nigerian government from top down are fantastically corrupt and nobody is going to do this because it will likely affect them or someone close.
There's absolutely no country that can thrive under the level of corruption in Nigeria.
