My visa is valid from next month but the event am going for as a visitor is set to hold last week of September, won’t it look odd at port of entry that I came way too early?

Unless you state you are coming for Holiday or Visiting, but i will advise you to stick to the purpose of your visit, so you can use it for other means subsequently.

Secondly, as someone on a vv, packing foodstuffs to CA, won’t it raise eyebrows since am on a vv and am expected to stay for just 6months or less?

This is not advisable make it minimal, is this your first travel?

I read that they check luggage at the airport to see if there’s any contraband items!!!

If you have items to declare you should declare them at the Canada Border Services Agency ( CBSA ).

One of my Big Bros got BVL around 2.22 AM Yesterday and no visa details yet, i believe it should popup tomorrow (If not a national holiday) or on Tuesday.

BVL comes with every application, so you will get another one.

The reason why you will get another BVL is to let you know the validity of your Biometrics, of a truth, no Officer will grant a visa without properly checking if the Biometrics is still unblemished.

In addition, that is why you see a Visa Officer sending BVL first before working on the Visa (Counterfoil) or Refusal Letter (Lool @ refusal, no one wants this)

I think the application are processed in bulk, I doubt Webform change anything. There were times I sent over 50 mails n Webform daily, nothing happened. My observation is they’re following a pattern, it will surely go round.

Let me start by asking; when did you apply?

People are been congratulated because at least they got a response from a long time application made in 2020/2021/2022 consecutively, so receiving an update will activate one's spirit for hope again.

Furthermore, any person from backlogs (Visitor's Visa) who gets a BVL now almost means a PPR, (Lol), people just want an update and everyone wants something positive.

Everyone will Receive BVL, It only a document that tells how long your Biometrics is valid for.
