Oh thank GOD it’s not only us then, Lol. Do you have past Schengen visa(s) or USA/UK/Canada? Dentale: |

I noticed that you applied as a first timer haven't you had any previous Schengen visas? or visas from the USA, Canada, or the UK. I had to revisit this thread after a long time to check the latest, My family and I, including my Mum, applied on July 18, 2024 for Our Yearly Family Vacation. Usually, our applications are processed within 3 to 5 days. This will be our fifth Schengen visa, except for my mother, who has visas for Canada and the USA. Between my family and me, we have visited over 34 countries and hold valid 10-years visa for Canada and the USA. We also have four expired Schengen visas issued by the French Embassy, expired UK visas and many more. My second Son does not need a visa as he holds a Canadian port. It has been 15 days without any updates. Abi, Has denied our visas ni? I sincerely hope that Nigerians can overcome these visa challenges, as the anxiety over visa results is immense despite being well-traveled. Regards, Atinukemi23: |

Is this a subject of argument? I am telling you what we did, what will you tell the Nigerian Immigration when you land with the baby in Nigeria? Do you think processing a Nigerian port is swift in Ottawa? For your information, if the baby doesn't have a Travel clearance processed by the Nigerian Embassy in Ottawa, you are expected to get an approval for the visa on arrival which you will board with, once the baby lands in Nigeria, the visa sticker will be affixed on the Canadian port, then in Nigeria, you can book a port date for the baby, that way it will be easier for you to get back to work or your business in Naija. Else you go wait taya to get the baby a Naija port in Ottawa. Do we have to argue all information contributed here? Regards, Ikiloba: |

Hi, We recently had our baby in Canada and I can guide you step by step, the issue now is that your visa isn’t ready, this can be super fast or delayed (depending on your luck). There is a thread for birthing and I think the thread is so dry. Regards, ogeoflyf: 1 Like |

Hi, A lot of people use TC issued by the Nigerian Embassy in Ottawa, however, because of the timing, I applied for a Nigerian Visa on Arrival for my Son, as at then it was around N280K and that was the best price, but now USD has gone up. (The payment on the system uses USD) Regards, P4perissos: |

You can add it together, VFS used to accept multiple ports those days, I do not know if TLS will. Regards, damkanlinsin: |

This is a top example of comments I often like to see and read; for those who know me on this thread earlier. So detailed and well explained, it’s your choice to decide, a lot of people need to have a mild expectation about a place and experience it first hand by yourself. Lot of people have this orientation about “ ah Canada is giving visas let’s take this opportunity once and for all” Like I often say, those countries spend more advertising their countries than developing it in the real sense. (I am not saying they do not have a better welfare for their citizens, of-course they do, My wife and I recently had our second child in Canada, so, I mean it worth being a citizen) Yes, a lot of people (would) say it’s still better of Nigeria; that’s why I said experiencing it first hand is the best lesson. Hello, From VFS experience, you cannot book him under Frequent Traveler since he is not, but you can submit together same day and same time if there is a document to back up you are all together. Regards, meljoe: |

Hello, To my own understanding I think he was asking about Microfinance Banks/Microcredit Banks. If that is the case; some people had used it and got approved whilst others were not. You can decide to give it a try (A verifiable one) but you can this with a Commercial Bank Statements (Otherwise known as the Regular Banks). Good-luck. Regards, Phemos: sparrow76: 1 Like |

If all you have in your is c$7K just reduce it to c$3K or c$3.5K this will cover for Her flight and other miscellaneous. Regards, Canadahome: |

Hello, Are you sure this is exactly what the question says? For that section that I know, calculate the cost of her flight and add little more to it since you are accommodating her and she isn’t spending on other things. Regards, Canadahome: 1 Like |

July is a long time and besides the French Embassy requires the last three months bank statements. My advice is that you print your Statements of (s) from July till date. There is no interview whatsoever. Regards, Purpleivy: 2 Likes |
