barcanista: It's no LIE by law, declaring with CCB means you've publicly declared. The only thing working against him is the Nigerian understanding of public declaration which to them is publishing it on the pages of newspapers. I think Nigerians should give them the benefit of the doubt, I mean what's the worse that could happen ?? I'm sure it will hit the papers if not today, within the week. Even Olisah Metuh knows this and that's why he's keeping mute on the issue for now. 1 Like |

Reference: Well Jonathan didn't get this much opposition two(2) days after his inauguration, now did he? But that's not the point, as I find opposition very helpful in checking the excesses of a sitting govt. The point is accusing them of failing to fulfill their promise this early is a bit in my view too hasty I mean what happens if they do so within the week then what? we fault them for something else ?? I know the vast majority of our politicians haven't been exactly trustworthy, but that's one of the reasons (trust in their words) this duo got the job. Question is why are we losing that trust so EARLY ?? That's my opinion as a Nigerian willing to sacrifice a little trust and patience to see how things pan out but then again, I can't blame Nigerians, they've suffered too much in the hands of politicians. |

Dear God! How can 80 people just die like that. I'm just really in a state of anger mixed with confusion. If only our pipelines and refineries were functioning this would have been averted. RIP to the dead. |

Never new Nigerians are this impatient, and to think a so called organization will tow the same line as TANoids is just so unbelievable. Most definitely this week you all will have their assets declaration. 3 Likes |

Freemanan: HEYWO! E don turn " Moses sake" ![]() Look, nobody is saying wike can never govern Rivers, all we are saying is that the last conducted election was a sham and you can't expect a major opposition like APC to fold their arms and accept the result. They'll definitely cry foul even though they may not stand a chance if it were to be re-run. Winning that election with that margin was the height of stoopidity on the part of PDP. The result will be annulled and a re-run will take place, in all PDP will still take the mantle. |

Firefire: In addition, fair representation is also required. How would you take it if only the northerners were to make his cabinet ?? There has to be a balance between competence and regional representation, cause we have not completely evolved into a country where appointments can be made strictly on competence. |

NBA just spoke the mind of the people. That PMB promised outgoing ministers and public office holders alike, that they have nothing to fear doesn't mean their corrupt practices won't be looked into. For when the Nigerian people start to call for their probe they'll be forced to oblige the call which is in line with their campaign promises. I pray that PMB/PYO will always that power belongs to the people and that VOX POPULI VOX DEI God Bless PMB/PYO |

I don't see any reason why our chieftains should be unsettled. The issue of fair representation is an issue PMB needs to handle wisely, it should not be toyed with, all regions of the country deserves to be fairly represented. This shouldn't be an issue and expect them to work it out soonest. Garba should quit with the FOI, what's the difficulty in just making a copy of the assets declaration available to the press. I'm still of the opinion that it would be made public. APC chieftains must learn from the mistakes of PDP lest we take the same path they took. 1 Like |

Yes indeed "for who he first fore knew he also did predestined". It is the will of the Almighty that you occupy the capacity of the VP and we have confidence in you and Him who chose you to outperform your predecessor. Serve your fatherland in His strength, we promise to stand with you. |

PhockPhockMan: Even Olisah Metuh is beginning to grow some sense and I wish the likes of barcanista who seems to be overzealous would follow suit. See what he said
I sincerely hope some of you will not end doing worse damage to the image of PDP than the card- carrying . Imagine barcanista carrying out a launch attack on PMB for not issuing out a press statement condemning the attacks by BH, on the very same day he was inaugurated. When he knew how many visitors came that day and how events were lined up for the whole day. 1 Like |

toprealman: Are they happily married or just married. I bet she's not submissive to her husband wven though the Bible clearly onishes wives to be. |

MarvellousGod: No Oh! I will breastfeed the baby lubbish, she's a feminist who'll set female folks against Men and the Bible, which clearly onishes wives to be submissive. The Bible says, be submissive, Chimamanda says, you don't have to if you don't want to. |

smileysmiles: Yes fully qualified to loot our treasury(Stella odua, Diezani, NOI). I doubt if this feminist is even a Christian, breeding some kind of culture that will ultimately lead to crisis in families as wives will no longer be submissive to their husbands as the Bible advices. She'll cause more harm than good to the female folks with these her sermons. 2 Likes |

No, it doesn't and he hasn't shown any signs that he won't rather he has taken a step suggesting that he will. In the days ahead we'll know if he will shy away from his promise. On the part of ministers declaring their assets publicly, It's entirely their call, PMB's part is to lead by example, he's not expected to force them. |

barcanista : I think you're being mischievous here. Here's the link to the press statement condemning the attacks.
First, he has followed due process by declaring his assets with the CCB in line with the requirements of the constitution. Secondly, where are you drawing your conclusions from as regards him not wanting to declare his assets publicly cause from what the nation published, there was no part stating the reluctance of PMB and VPO in declaring their assets publicly. Don't try an add to the story. It was never stated whether or not they'll declare publicly and I think it's silly for anyone to presume they did. You guys need to chillax and not be too hasty. My deepest respect to a fellow learned, matured Niger Deltan. While your friends may label you as an impostor or whatever name they can come up with, my hope is that you'll not switch sides like barcanista did. Once again you've taken a very matured decision as a well meaning Nigerian and I look forward to your future criticisms. |

Firefire: Bro you gotta be you and be objective sometimes, I'm sure you know there's no way in hell the president and vice president's assets declaration will not be made public. So making it an issue is really surprising. We know the criticisms will come, but going about it this way is really irritating and nobody will gain any knowledge in the process. |

Mehn! these guys are unimaginably stoopid chaiii!, their logical reasoning ability keeps depleting by the day as their idiocy sky rockets to the high heavens. I'm no longer bothered about their comments rather I'm concerned about changes in their behavioural pattern, which no doubt is on a disturbing decline. Hopefully, in a few days time when their(PMB/VPYO's) declared assets hits the public, you TANdroids will come back and swallow your m0r0nic comments. PMB's Victory has really impacted a serious negative Psychological change on these urchins. Na real wa. NB: I'll respond to mentions from saTANoids at once, since you all deserve the same answer. So when I have up to ten(10) silly mentions I'll respond. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

noblezone: That's a weighty allegation, judgment can't be ed by mere allegations. If such really took place and those privy to such information didn't ensure justice took it's place then they are to blame. |
