Is it not shameful that a write-up this short cannot be fully understood by Tanoids. While the president-elect's committee are doing voluntary work, same cannot be said of the ever greedy Jona committee. Two billion in one day; I SMH for this country. Befitting inauguration my foot. |

baralatie:Did you read the beginning part of the write-up ?? |

discusant: O really! Is that the real reason you guys want to breakaway? To show to other Nigerians how economically important you're; well if it is, methinks it's pathetic. Nigeria will survive to the shame of her ill-wishers. Not everyone in the US cherishes equality, if you doubt it, try visiting Pennsylvania and if by chance you make it back alive we'll hold a thanksgiving service for you. On a second thought you may make it back alive, well because it's America. Point is, if you think all Americans both white, black or African, indian etc., see themselves as equal then you must be JOKING. America don't gotta do anything. They've received the petition (if truly any was submitted), filed it, and that's all to it. America didn't amalgamate the North and South protectorate so they have no role to play here. What inequality are you lots crying about? Last time I checked, the main agitators for this self-centred breakaway have not been more marginalized than the region (SS) whose resource has sustained us thus far. So in what way have you guys been treated unequally? |

dckelvin: Hmmm, military training, Intel ? Whatever happened to you guys breaking away peacefully? Well I wish you guys all the best in your biafran or lower Niger dream. But I suggest u guys agree on what to call you country cause it seems some are saying lower Niger, while others are saying Biafra. |

dckelvin: And why do you think the US or any world power will a group they clearly can not benefit from. Have you forgotten the state of Pennsylvania has more coal than Biafra can offer or what else are you tabling for their , cause I don't see them ing d breakaway of another group, to form a country they may have to send aid to in the future. Why should any world power Biafra? |

Correctman0606: Some pessimistic view you've go there. Well Buhari isn't going to fail as there would be no chaos after May 29th. Because I claim to know the method of determining the volume of a cylinder or any object doesn't mean you won't give me the required parameters to arrive at my soln. The fact that Buhari claims to know how to tackle the challenges facing the oil sector, doesn't automatically mean he has all the facts and figures he needs to achieve his claims or do you expect him to apply trial and error method. Give him the facts and the figures and when he begins to fail or lament then you can bash him. 1 Like |

PointB:Well because you think Buhari is trying to dilute expectation doesn't make it so. From what I read, plans were not halted, they only stated the challenges they were facing. From your fuel attendant analogy, Buhari's team is actually planning (selling fuel) even though they've got limited information which is required for accurate planning. I don't know why Jonathan's committee is not disseminating the information required by the incoming istration to plan effectively. One can only speculate that they are delaying some information for whatever reason but that's just a speculation which may be wrong. 1 Like |

The petition is perfectly timed. While Yale can award their honoraries to whomever they dim fit, I thinking an explanation here will do alot to saving their name. In all sincerity and honesty, NOI should not have been awarded the degree, using the present state of the Nigerian economy as a reason.

I'm sure by now whoever listens to this clown would think the Niger delta is inhabited by the ijaws alone. And while it may seem to some non- Niger deltans, that this guy is fighting our struggle, truth is he is fighting for his own self centred interests. SS is not a slave to any other region like the fooi is trying to brainwash himself and not me or any SSner. For Godsake we had a SS president for six years who came from the ijaw nation who did nothing TANGIBLE for the region. When the amnesty deal was put forward they never turned it down and in turn insist on a continuous and steady development of the region, rather the so called struggle agents smiled to their various banks. Question is why did they not agitate for the development of d Niger delta in the last six years when a SS-Niger deltan-ijawman was there. One would've expected them to constantly remind him, but they all hibernated within this period. Why did we not see a constantly appearing asari in the dailies within d last six years? As a NDn I'm disturbed dis guy keeps claiming he is fighting the ND struggle. He needs to define explicitly what or who he is fighting for cause I know he doesn't rep. d ND struggle. 2 Likes |

@Firstimer Tell d lady in question to not doubt the hubby for now.He needs to know he has her trust completely. Secondly, she should suggest he invites the "friend" over to their house, that she would love to know his friend. That should give her an opportunity to make a quick assessment of the lady and use it as an avenue to get some helpful info like where do you worship, where did you make ur hair I like it maybe you can show me...d idea is to get close to the friend. If d hubby declines or starts acting funny at d point of this suggestion then he's hooked. |

dexy007: Smart thinking. I'd also remove the possibility of this being an accident cause accidents happen in a flash and the Op couldn't have been expecting one to happen. So my thoughts were: This was a celebration event which was recorded by d guy and couple screenshots were made to arrive at this photo. Nice photo by the way. 6 Likes |

Wow! I'm caught up in awe. See firsthand patriotism. Pls keep digging into the lives of these heroic leaders of old. It's amazing to read that leaders of old were not scared of asset declaration esp at the end of their tenure in office. Can we therefore say that rather than move forward we've constantly been taking steps backwards. 3 Likes |
