What people are concerned is that this kind of practice puts the industry in a bad light especially domainers that do outbound marketing.

Just Imagine that you're an end and someone s you about a domain. When you now decide to buy the domain you now discover that the said person doesn't really own the name.

The first thing that comes to mind of the end s is that the person is trying to sell what he doesn't own = (Fraud).

Except you're telling the end that you're a broker or that you just want to inform them about the availability of the domain name, but it is a bad practice to talk about "price" without actually owning the name.

One or two people doing this may not be causing so much harm, but just imagine if every single outbound domainer is doing the same thing.

End-s will stop taking us seriously and it will affect everybody. The best way to make this business sustainable is by allaying all fears that domain outbound marketers are scammers or dishonest.

Come and see new tactics this buyer used....he opened afternic and regged Mr Octtopus same day he/she place the offer and put it for sale for 1200$ ....he/she did it so I will think he/she is a domainer and a newbie at that cause the names he/she has in their portfolio is complete rubbish..... screenshot below....the person did it so I will think they aren't serious ......

They sent offer 6 days ago 1500$ I reject they sent 1800 I reject they sent 400,500,1300..I kept rejecting..and countering close to my bin ..this went on for hours...I swear it got so tiring even afternic rep tell me they think it's fake offer...after they won't stop bothering and kept resending 1500 even tho I kept trying to make am move up like they did before they no gree...giving me headache....me I just accepted the 1500 since I felt it was a fake offer make they just gettat and afternic to ban the when he/she doesn't pay.. so after 6 days of accepting the person pay I was shocked and surprised...

Also the domain had fast transfer on but since it was offer I had to transfer manually mhmm I never knew that...
