If you are truly convinced that this man is a Pastor, and he really is, simply tell him to seek God's face. If the story is true, he(the Pastor) is almost making up his mind based on his emotions. A Pastor who fails in his marriage will most likely, except by God's grace, fail in his ministry. It is obvious from the story that he has not sought God's face on this which is not too good for a Pastor.....

A very poor country with nearly a half of its citizens slaving in India or other parts of the middle east. If not for mount everest n bungee jumping u will have no reasons to visit there. The average Nepalese are nice, n I won't judge everyone based on this incident. I have friends from Nepal. I just spoke to em n they condemned this action on hearing it. There r extremist everywhere even in Nigeria. But, it is so wrong and I wud want to ask where the police was at the time this incident was taking place. I blame the government.

I guess the police turned a blind eye because Hinduism is more or less their National religion, after all, it's the same police that arrest anyone who kills a cow.... Their god

Most jobs in Qatar are offered through recruitment agencies. These agencies prefer to recruit nurses from UK, USA and other Western countries and they cover all the expenses: registration, flight ticket, accommodation, etc.
You must also know that payment and treatment of employees are based on your country of training, experience, and other stuffs and most people have claimed that there are lots of racism in that aspect. However, I believe you should give them a try, beside even the lowest pay maybe bigger than what most hospitals pay in Nigeria. Also, you can search directly for hospitals in Qatar and apply directly to them, you can never tell how it will turn out kiss That's my two cents for you. smiley smiley smiley

No offence meant but if I may ask, do you live in Qatar? Though, u mentioned some facts based on what is commonly known in Qatar but not absolutely correct. You seem to be mixing things up here. I know several Nurses, with certificates from Nursing schools in Nigeria who are doing better than even engineers.

I am just wandering what could have happened that my comment was removed here.(It was even removed when I tried posting it as a topic) I guess it was seen to be scam. Anyway, I won't be too angry because it is difficult to know what is real in Nigeria. However, I wish the people running this website can do proper investigations rather than just insinuations. I only ed the information here just in case someone may need it but it was seen as scam. Well, I have tried. I have no personal gain from it in the first place, only trying to help somebody. I wonder why a job being posted from outside Nigeria is automatically seen as scam.

I may be wrong with my analysis:

NOTE 1:
"...and claimimg that the Boko Haram is being used by political players."

NOTE 2:
If the UK findings will indict or expose the oppositions of this government like Buhari and co, then surely such information will not be a classified one.

However, before this news broke out, I was very sure that Jonathan and his government knew and still know more than what we think they know about the origin or the HIJACK of this insurgency.

Frankly, the UK findings may, with the high level of probability, expose this very government of their hidden activities as per the Chibok Girls Kidnap.

They might have discovered something strange about the finance and motive behind the deadly group.

That may be the reason why they think that should they release such high profile information or findings, it will surely affect the international relations between the two countries.

Oh! I still keep wondering why will the UK and US with some countries come here to help us fight Boko Haram but left us in less than a month wihout achieving what they came here for.

It is really hard to hear or see US embarks on a rescue mission without success even if it will take a long period to achieve it.

I still wonder why will US refuse to sell weapons to our government that claims to use the weapons to fight this deadly group.

Besides, during the time when an aircraft filled with huge amout of money, belonging to CAN president, was seized by the South African government, I do not know whether or not people noticed that the Boko haram activities in this country reduced drastically. Hmm! Coincidence? Hmm...

Till now, the names of the two Nigerians captured by the South African government are unknown and why that of the foreigner was clearly mentioned.

Why still keep the identity of these men if truly what the government said of the purpose of such black market dealings of such weapons are true?

Because of this, why do we keep hearing the "INVISIBLE" helicopter dropping weapons and food items in Maiduguri for the boko haram without the knowledge of the aviation ministry or any other relevant bodies? This is really impossible!

Why was Azazi killed weeks after when he alleged that PDP is boko haram and boko haram is PDP?

Why would the boko haram agents come to an area, and operated for like 4 or 5 hours uninterrupted or without any reprisal from the military men despite the fact that the states are under state of emergency?

If truly Buhari knows about this group, why can't the government take it serious to prosecute or sue him or reveal the evidence, not the daily propaganda linking him with the group just as they claimed they have enough evidence that he does not have a certificate?

If they have the evidence, I know very sure that FFK and Fayose will never keep silent on that even if the presidency cautions them.

Why would a presidential aide be interested in creating an email in a bid to link Sanusi to Boko haram but his efforts were exposed and failed?

Why will the government be interested now in reducing boko haram activities within 6 weeks recommended by them and not the early years of this deadly group when the cries of the innocent blood were so much -
may be for political reasons, OR
may br after seeing millions in that region being displaced and unable to obtain their PVCs OR
may be after seeing another millions being warned OR threatened not to come out during elections to vote OR
may be after seeing that thousands are really afraid to come outside to vote?

Why would our president in less than 24 hours after the kidnap of the Chibok Girls, go to Kano for campaign dance or skelewu - a mission accomplished abi?

WHY? WHY? WHY?

The Lord God searches through human hearts and knows with precision or perfection our thoughts and He will surely judge the wicked and their wicked ways.

IF THE POLICE FORCE, THE MILITARY FORCE AND OTHER ARMED FORCES IN THIS COUNTRY CANNOT REVEAL THE SOURCE OF FINANCE OF THIS DEADLY GROUP, THE PRAYER, WHICH IS THE SPIRITUAL FORCE THAT CONNECTS US TO HEAVEN WILL SOON FISH OUT THE SPONSORS WITH CONCRETE EVIDENCE BY FIRE OR BY FORCE.

Killing these boko haram boys without uprooting the roots ( i.e. Without revealing and arresting the sponsors) is an effort in futility.

How well would it have been if Nigerians will always think like this?....
Personally, I've lost faith in any Nigerian politician, Buhari, GEJ not one of them but I think it's a shame to allow this Callous, terrible istration to continue ruling this nation. In a media chat when asked if the chibok girls will return alive, GEJ said there's no plan to kill the girls....only in Nigeria will a president say such and people won't asking him how he knew the plan. (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pH3_QUcejc) He even said he was not consulted before election was postponed.....we Nigerians shouldn't be selling our future to these greedy, wicked souls. No matter who you are ing, they'll forget you after the election until four years when your vote is needed again.....

Then almost half of our population is going to hello.... Saying this because of the number of faithfuls this churches pull to themselves.
Maybe God have mercy on us and open our eyes to know His true Santuary.

Even if this is true, the fact that the head of a church is going to miss heaven doesn't mean that all church will automatically miss heaven as well. The problem with us is that we idolize the men of God. When people share their testimony most times, they glorify men of God instead of God...there are many Christians in churches who are much more faithful than the GO's.... However, I don't believe this. In the bible(our standard as Christians) whenever God wanted to warn His chosen ones or servants, He would send a message to them directly. He can always visit them anyhow and any time. God wouldn't need a need a newspaper to speak to His servants.

Why is this thread not on the front page yet?

After watching that video, I make bold to say that Nigeria and Nigerians have entered one chance bus tagged apc and pdp.

that primitive tout in that video goes to show the type of satanic agents called politicians in apc/pdp yet gullible minded citizens look up to these objects/ touts as their leaders and also expect them to lead them to Eldorado!

Una no well

As little as your comment is, it is the best I've read in a long time here on Nairaland. I am happy that at least, there are some people with understanding in Nigeria. It is so annoying to see people cursing, abusing and insulting each other because of APC and PDP. The same set of people who have been 'terrorizing' Nigerians from ages past. If only Nigerians will come to their senses and understand that almost, if not all, of these politicians are wicked and have no interest in our wellbeing, then there won't be any reason for violence or killing of fellow citizens. That should be left for their children that they send abroad when youths start killing one another..... only then can there be a revolution that will lead to a brighter future as it had been with many developed nations. Once again, thanks for your comment.

. my brother is currently on interview for a Job in Qatar... their features are. Two free visa for himself and spouse, salary of $2500 per month...And free ticket to come back to Nigeria yearly....is the Job okay

First, I will like to ask, if you don't mind, what job exactly?. The reasons : 1. for a job that an employer will offer a Family status( by the fact that visa will be granted to spouse also), it must be a position in management, engineering or cadre and such salary is a bit too low for such category. 2. Is accommodation and transportation allowances included in the offer or the salary is $2,500 all inclusive? If not so It's either this is a scam or your brother is being cheated. In the first place, the minimum salary that can make any employer grant a spouse visa in Qatar is Qr10,000 while the $2500 offered, is about Qr9,000. If you are sure of this,(not a scam) then let your brother ensure that the company takes care of his accommodation. Renting a fairly okay 2BD Flat costs nothing less that Qr4000-4,500. Also, let him ask about transportation, if the company will be responsible for it 'cos transportation is quite expensive in Qatar. These are just the few things, out of many, to let you know that the salary is good but too small for anyone coming with wife. (In my opinion)

I agree with u bro...what is annoying is that these guys go unpunished while someone is sentenced to years in prison for stealing 10,000 naira. It's really sad. Nigerians deserve better lives. According to Sanusi in 2011 '10% of Nigerians share 90% of our wealth' so unfair!

I have always said it and will continue to say it that, we Nigerians, i mean general citizens, are our own problems. Just to mention few, the people who go around fighting for these people as thugs and whatever, aren't they Nigerians? It is only in my country that we will see such a revelation and we will smile over it without protest. The last time we tried protesting over fuel subsidy removal, I can how people were complaining in less than a week, calling the NLC to stop the protest and many insulting Pastor Tunde Bakare. For this reason and many more, These Politrickians will never take us serious unless the citizens can wake up......These greedy, wicked and self centered so called leaders are already condemned but what are we doing as citizens at the receiving end, suffering from the impacts of their atrocities? Is it not everyday we see people insulting one another here on Nairaland because of GEJ and Buhari, and all other sets of people causing all these.
Hmmmmmm, I pity u my motherland. You are a blessed country, but may God deliver you from your bastard children that are working hard to ruin you

Please do find out why. We would like to hear it. You know, one of the reasons given by one of the discussants is that Master's degree is meant to make you Master an experience which you should already have and that's why most of the questions center on real work place experience (which you will not have been taught). And the Professional Course is to make you more professional in the discharge of your duties when you arrive the workplace that is why we have many specialised institutions for such purpose of making you more knowledgeable and an expert in your specific field. You know the University cannot teach you specialized courses most times.

Just to add to ur nice comments, though a lil bit from another perspective, i think it also depends on some factors like the individual in question and the environment. Consider a place like Nigeria, many graduates(not all) run into masters programme just to have additional advantage in getting a job which they are not to be blamed for, 'cos it has been seen at several job recruitment programs where those with masters qualifications are given more priority than those with only first degree or HND. Also, many will even think about remuneration and consider putting in for masters to increase their pay. However, it is not same in some other countries. For instance, when i left Nigeria and got to my present place, i put a long pause on my ambition for M.Sc simply because i found that it wasn't what i needed most, rather i took several professional certifications which, by God's grace, have really helped me both financially and in career, better than masters could have done from me judging from what i see in my country. You can HARDLY see any job advert requiring first degree holders let alone Masters, the requirements employers need most here are your professional certifications because these certificates, most times, ensure that u know more than the theoretical knowledge from the Uni.
Hence, i'll say to decide on which to do between prof. certification and M.Sc, the person should define exactly what he or she wants and if necessary, consider the location then, it will become easier to decide
JakeII(m): 12:47pm On Oct 25, 2014
If all Nigerian politician's pasts should be dug at, non will be Nigerian's choice. I don't trust any one of them but I will still not accept that one is better because of a propaganda written to ridicule the other. Inferring from one the earlier comments, should we judge Prof. Soyinka based on his founding of Pirates confraternity?, Or judging by whatever and however minor the things he did while in the group, can we be so sure he wouldn't have done terrible things had he an opportunity to rule the country?.....I am only concerned about my country, may God have mercy and give us a His own candidate. Our leaders, if not all of them, are failures. I live in a country that their wealth is not up to that of Lagos state alone, but all the citizens(natives) live like Princes and Princesses.......Nigeria, may God heal You!

This message is loaded........with truth and fallacies. When i heard the audio, I was so moved, especially with the part where we were made to realise that the christians in the Southern Nigeria have neglected the Northern brethren and how we abandon the mandate of spreading the Gospel but rather focusing on only prosperity. However, I became disapointed with the obvious act/motive of campaigning for Goodluck Jonathan and painting Ayo Oritsejafor as a Saint..... The pastor claimed not to be a politician and yet went about castigating and kept painting another party based on whatever he thought. I don't this is good enough for him as a pastor. Either PDP or APC, our is to face what God has commanded us as christians. It is left for eveyone to vote for individual and/or party that one thinks is appropriate. If a christian wants to a party, he should come out plain, not to clain indeffernt but stay under the canopy of the church to campaign for one party by destroying the other, it's simply hypocrisy......So disappointing
JakeII(m): 8:36pm On Oct 11, 2014
At first I thought the same, that the pitch was bad, but could you see the sudaness ing the ball smoothly to keep possession especially in the last 5-8 mins?....we lost because we either had no particular plan or had the wrong approach. I am not a certified Coach but in my little way, I have studied many great coaches for years and i almost always predict correctly what they will do when a game is not going in their favour. Immediately the needful wasn't done at the early part of second half I knew the game was lost. Just for instance, between 56th min and 79th minute and several other occasions in the match, the sudan team was clearing all balls out of their box. A technically minded caoch would have used that to kill them because they were giving us possession of the ball which the most disappointing guy, Mikel should have capitalised on by holding the ball as he would do at chelsea and let them foul him till they start picking cards and getting frustrated which will attact more players to him and put holes on their flanks but we kept running and so much in haste to score, thereby making them to enjoy their game cos we were playing along wt them....check it out, big teams at international level may be loosing but they always cool down and eventually come out on top at the end how? Patience and a good winning plan, not just running on the field except if pace is the needed approach
JakeII(m): 7:41pm On Oct 11, 2014
What suprises me in this match, even same as it was against Congo, is that SE are playing just like they are division 2 players of a typical African league. I can't imagine that we will be rushing and running to score without any particular build up from either the mid-field or from flanks. The sudanes team are kicking all balls out of their area but with the experience of our players, they can't keep the ball to their advantage, in fact i can't see them stringing 5 es. Big shame. Keshi has given his best. The crop of players we have now are even worse than having Keshi. Big Shame

From your write-up, I can't help but say you have a very shallow understanding of the word of GOD.

1. Tithe wasn't abolised in the new testament. JESUS CHRIST compared the prayer of the pharisee and the publican, which the pharisee was justifying himself before GOD that he pays tithes and does other good works and exalt himself.
Also, the scribes and pharisees pay tithes, the LORD didn't rebuke them for this but rebuked them as they serve GOD deceitfully and neglect the whethtier matter of the law, faith, judgement and mercy.
Even the law wasn't abolished yet alone tithing.
Like you don't know the purpose of the coming of Christ?

Tithe, compulsory?? Hmmm, give to GOD what belongs to GOD, don't rob Him.
2. Wow!!! Is that really the summary of the new testament and how to make heaven? Like seriously?[/quote]

I really thank God for your life that you have a strong Knowledge of the scriptures, even if u think mine is shallow....I am not too suprised to see the way u replied, it's simply the way of life in Nigeria, very obvious on Nairaland, people's avenue to show they have the best opinion and either plain and holy insults....lols!
Anyway, if what i said is not same with u, you would have taken time to understand my comment very well. I never said tithe was abolished or even said paying it is wrong. Though sarcastically written, my point was that anyone who is not paying tithe is simply missing out of God's blessing for abundance as He promised. But I remain strong on this....Paying tithe alone doesn't guarantee heaven...

In my own opinion, I don't think there is any religion that encourages innocents to be slaughtered anyhow. so I really don't think Islam is what it seems to be now. However what I think is the reason for all the wicked acts of the Islamic extreemist is that fact that they are being misled and wrongly taught. From my little knowledge of Roman Catholic history, there were times when some Popes of old were commiting terrible acts that could have been as worse as the Islamic exteemists of today had there been technological advancement of this present age then. What is worth noting is that those Popes were commiting such actrocities then by brainwashing people claiming to have the sole knowledge of the whole bible because the bible was not as it is today and was written in Aramaic, Hebrews and greek, until the era of protestants when bible became available in different languages that people could read and understand, at least the basics ( because major parts of the bible require the help of the holy spirit to understand). Similarly, the terrorists today are also being brainwashed because they are being told what is in the Quran. It is written in Arabic which they only recite. Those who can read and understand the Quran always say the Quran doesn't what these terrorists are doing. I once asked an Alfa about the Quran written in English, he told me that it is only a summary of Quran, so reading it can't free any of the followers from the lies being told by the bad leaders.
Just my opinion...
