Esmeob:If you want your port to be stamped very fast and sent back to you ASAP. Send it directly to Abuja VFS. Use DHL to send and pay 1 way courier service, about 18k (this is for returning your port via UPS). If you did biometrics I'm Lagos, you will pay additional money as transmission fee. Don't pay for SMS it's waste of money. Then relax and see the magic. All the information are on VFS website 2 Likes |

Markab:VFS is partnering with UPS. When your port is stamped, VFS will send it to UPS to return back to you. If you pay DHL return service, you will be the one to follow up with DHL to make sure they pick up your port from VFS. All the fees & how to make payment is on VFS website. But for sending, you walk in to any nearest DHL and pay for sending only |

XtraordinaryGen:I dropped my port at DHL in Lagos last week Wednesday, same day in the evening it was sent to Abuja, on Thursday VFS Abuja received it and sent to IRCC office same day. Then Friday was public holiday, then weekend, Monday public holiday. So on Tuesday VFS Abuja received it back from IRCC. Today being Wednesday VFS handed it over to UPS. I just received UPS tracking number from VFS (I requested for it via email). When I tracked it, it's showing on transit. Fingers crossed 1 Like |

The decision envelope for your application, tracking ID No. xxxxxxxxxxx has been couriered from the Canada Visa Application Centre, Abuja OC on Wed Apr 26 2023 via courier partner. Please use Tracking id. or the AWB number provided to track the shipment on the courier partners website after 24hrs. Regards, VFS Global ---------------------------------------------------------------- I got the above email from VFS this morning. Then I chatted them to confirm which courier company they use and the confirmed it's UPS. But they didn't give me the tracking number and I didn't get any update from UPS either. Pls has anyone experienced this before? Meanwhile I sent my port from Lagos to Abuja and I paid for VFS 1 way courier (for them to send it back to me directly). Or do I have to wait for 24hrs before I will get update from UPS? |

Peacefulpeace23: 1. #9,930 2. #18,710 3. #990 1 way courier fee is not the money you're paying to DHL for sending, but the money VFS will use to send back your port. You pay transmission fee if where you're sending your documents is different from the where you had your biometrics 2 way courier service is cheaper but VFS are saying they have stopped it, though someone in this thread used it few days ago I guess. I don't think DHL will open on Monday You can always check VFS website for updates 2 Likes |
