We are products of habits. We make our habits and our habits in turn make us. You can tell the future of a person by taking a look at the person’s habits. It's like an indicator with a 99.9% accuracy rate. This is why it is important that you must constantly do a self-evaluation. We are already in the year 2017. Here are five things you should stop doing this year.

1. Stop sleeping for long:

Sleep is necessary for the proper functioning of the human body. It gives the body an opportunity to rest and regain its vigor. Science says that the average human being needs to sleep for about eight hours a day. But anybody who is really serious about becoming rich cannot afford to sleep for long hours at a stretch. A large number of the world's influencers sleep for a short time each day. Reduce the amount of time you sleep. Spend the time working on your goals. Read a book. Invent in something. Your best thoughts will come in the night when others are sleeping

2. Stop having an entitlement mentality:

This is one of the greatest enemies to success. There are people who have erected a mindset of expectancy from others. They believe that someone owes them a favor and it is that person’s responsibility to do it. If that expectation is not met, they tend to become bitter. Such people will not go far. Why? Because they place the power of their future in another person’s hand. Quit expecting anything from anyone! Stop accusing people around you. Stop blaming the government. Realize that you're the CEO of your life and that you're 100% responsible for your life.

3. Stop playing it safe:

Too many people are too careful about life. They are slow to make decisions or take any action because of the fear of making the wrong decision. What they fail to understand is that indecision is also a decision to do nothing. This is the mindset that paralyzes them and keeps them from taking risks. Life favors the bold. Like someone said,"in life, your biggest regret will not be from what you did but what you did not do". So, brace up. Try something new. Master your fear. Take new calculated risks.

4. Stop depending on your job alone:

If there is anything 2016 thought us about jobs, it is that having a job is not a very reliable option. This is evident by the massive retrenchment that happened last year. Nobody anticipated it. Don't misunderstand me, having a job is good. But it is advisable that you should have an alternative source of income. Search for new opportunities. The internet is home to many opportunities that won't take your time and efforts. Set up one for yourself. Insure yourself from any form of unsavory future occurrence.

5. Stop ignoring opportunities:

Someone once said that to be poor means ing Over Opportunities Repeatedly. This is very true. Every human on earth has an opportunity to achieve their goals. Some people’s opportunities are more glaring than others. But nobody has been deprived by fate of that opportunity. The problem is that many people never recognized the opportunities that came their way because it did not come as they expect. Others just ignored it. Choose to explore new grounds.

It is no longer news that the Nigerian economy is in a really bad shape. We have read about it in the newspapers, we've watched the discussions on TV, and we have experienced it ourselves as Nigerians. The thing that should be of concern is not what everybody is saying; what should catch our attention is what is not being said. You cannot solve a problem by talking about the problem. You have to develop a different perspective to the problem. If we try to solve our problems with the same mindset which we used in creating them, then we are nothing but mere jokers. Our beloved nation has obviously not learn this lesson.

What are the things that people have not thought about concerning this recession? This is the first step out of this quagmire that we have found ourselves. I will explain this on an individual basis rather than focusing on the nation as a whole. I hope you will learn something from it.

1. Recession is not really a bad thing:

Okay, before you misconstrue this point, I want you to think. Is war a bad thing? Of course it is! People die. Properties worth millions are lost. There’s the emotional trauma and other things like famine that people have to cope with. The damage a two month old war creates can take more than two years to repair. But in the midst of this disaster, there are people that make money legitimately from it. E.g. companies that produce the weapons. In the same way, there are people who are happy despite this recession. They have positioned themselves to gain rather than suffer in this period. I repeat once again, not everybody is experiencing the pangs of recession. The sensible question should be: “how are they doing it?”

2. The economy will not recover soon:

Many people will claim they have ideas that will revitalize the economy. Others will like to believe that a miracle can happen to boost the economy within a short period of time. But this will not be so. Economic recovery will not occur in an instant. Forget what some “experts” are saying by predicting six months or one year recovery. The only way we can truly assess this is when prices of goods starts dropping and not just some paper statistics.

3. Protests will not help you right now:

I do not have any issue with the protest, but let’s be rational and predict how things will unfold. If the protests holds, the government will promise to do something about it. After a few weeks of public discussion in the newspaper, the government will set up a committee. (This is Nigeria. Nothing happens without committees). The committee might use maybe three months or more to gather its facts and recommendations. Once they submit it, it will take another period of time for the government to study the report and then set up a task force. All throughout this time, hunger is still biting hard. It will take another lengthy period of time for the effects to trickle down to the masses. So, it will take a while (probably a little longer than we anticipate) for there to be tangible fruits from the protests. Protests are long term options, but have no short term help for you. for a short term solution, you as an individual needs a liberation plan that will help you out.

4. Your job may not save you:

If you can read and have been following the events in the labor market, you will know that there is a lot of instability at the moment. There have been reoccurring job losses across all sectors. Companies are folding up leaving their employees stranded. I will say one in every three Nigerian knows someone who has been affected by this. It boils down to one fact: there is no job security at the moment. The only place where we have believed that there is job security is the civil service. But many civil servants are being owed salaries for months and there seems to be no light in the tunnel for them.

5. Your saving key is what you don’t know:

Face the truth: you are experiencing recession because of what you don’t know. What you know obviously is not really useful for this period or else, you would not be faced with challenges like you are facing now. It is safe to say what you don’t know is what may be the panacea for the current economic woes. This means if you desire to step out of the constraints that many people are also suffering, you need new, relevant and useful knowledge. Like someone said, “the problem is not that you failed; the problem is that you don’t know how to succeed.”

Nigerians are funny. in my opinion it is even better they use it for xmas instead of using it for ponzy schemes or hyip cheesy

Nigeria is being hit by a recession that is characterized by high inflation and limited sources of income. While the recession is just a fairy tale to some, I mean they do not believe it exist, others can see and feel it. They can see it when they look at the mirror and see how unpleasing their physical appearance has become due to malnutrition, they can feel it when it is time for launch and no means to provide it.

State governments are unable to meet up with the minimum wage of N18,000 and companies are now competing on the number of people they have sacked. This rat race is forcing Nigerians to look outside the box. The most unfortunate part is that Nigerians are looking in the wrong direction. Yes it is true that online businesses can liberate and free Nigerians from the woes of this recession and it is true that the kind of things Nigerians want to do online will make them loose more money than they earn.

Below Are 7 Categories Of Nigerians That Will Not Love 2017

1. Those That Want To Earn Through Ponzi schemes, crypto currencies or Hyip

If you look at the Nigerian online world, it is filled with ponzy schemes, hyips, crypto currencies etc. yes it is true that these programs can make you peanut but I guarantee you that in the long run you will lose more money than you earned. I said you will earn peanuts because the main money is for the owners of the programs.

2. Fixed salary earners

The price of everything you can think of in Nigeria has increased, I mean everything including Oxygen. If you doubt me ask for oxygen price in hospitals. If you have a fixed salary and you are not diversifying your income in the right direction, 2017 will not be funny for you.

3. Greedy Fellows

You want to invest 100usd and get 30% at the end of the month while you are asleep? Bro there are no Magic trees on the internet. Yes a 100usd can earn one thousand usd while advertising a product or service but if you just want to put it, sleep and wake up after 30days to get 30% bonus then you are on the verge of narrating a heart touching story.

4. Safe Players

All those dudes that always play it safe and reject everything that comes their way instantly, 2017 will not smile at you. It used to be wise to play it safe but this is 2017. I am not advising you to try every crap that comes your way but I am advising you to research thoroughly on something and try it.

5. The Adamant

It is an undeniable fact that different areas of our lives are changing. Our physique is changing, the kind of cars we use are changing, technologies and everything around us is changing but you do not want to change your kind of business or service you render?

6. The I Know It All

There are a particular set of closed minded people that believe they know everything. Every online business you tell them about they will tell you they know it and it’s a waste of time or something of that nature. The most annoying part is if you ask them how much they have earned online to be able to make authoritative judgments on different online businesses, you will learn that they have never earned a penny or they are only earning peanuts. If you are the closed minded type, 2017 may not be funny.

7. Those Waiting For The Dream Online Tutor To Spoon Feed You

Real Online tutors will only give you a definite guideline of what they do. usually it requires an effort from your end to replicate their success. if you are the lazy type that gives up easily then you will miss out of whatever gold mine they hand over to you. if you happen to be a slow learner, it is just telling you that you require a little more effort. The greatest proof that you can earn a lot of money online is that somebody is already earning and you know exactly what he is doing. If you think you can, you can. If you think you can’t, you can’t.

Conclusively

A wise man once said that you cant be doing same thing and expect a different result. if you are not comfortable with your 2016 earnings, you must be ready to do things differently or you will still have exact same results like the previous year. if your are the serious minded type that is ready to alter the usual unpleasant result: follow me to www.jagaban.com/p/jagaban.html as i will show you exactly how i made N121,500 from marketing in less than 24hours.
