oloriooko: Just help ask these set of wicked people in Nigeria. You stigmatize people for their ethic nationality, their dialect and even their family make-up as if any was their fault. We are more Racist to ourselves than Europeans are to us! 88 Likes 9 Shares |

It's needless that your Headline is misleading, you must not disparage other tribes or ethic nationality even in a joke as this is a bad joke. The insecurity in the East; Abia, Imo, Enugu, Anambra and Ebonyi States are perpetuated by Igbos not Fulani or any other foreign tribe. As a resident of the East who have lived in every State of the East, the advent of IPOB and ESN has done more harm than good in all ramifications. Those who continue to the activities of these criminals who carryout evil in the name of a fathom nightmare called Freedom from Nigeria when Nigeria is not their problem will meet their Waterloo no matter how long it takes. Evildoers will never go unpunished. 1 Like |

He might not be guilty of murder. It's left for his lawyer to put up a strong defence for Man-slaughter. A smart lawyer will make sure the Nigerian Police Force also share in the blame for the incident for issuing an ASP an AK-47 rifle in 2022. He can also plead that the officer was working longer hours than required by international labour laws without adequate rest and good mental health care. Plus if he pleads guilty right away, there will be no trial just straight to Judgement which will be too bad for him. As an ASP he understands very well the workings of the law, so let him stand his trial. He can also plead for leniency on the ground that the ASP has served the country for good 33years. So it's a essentially a work related accident and not necessarily a murder case. 1 Like |

https://nairaland.unblockandhide.com/2281798/opinion-code-ethics-nigerian-journalists You are not serious at all. So you didn't see Public Interest in your Code of Conduct? Was that even a family meeting? You APC people should have some shame and decorum! |

JoshTim: Arise was duly invited and if they were not invited are entitled to be there. They are licensed to operate in Nigeria. BAT hates criticism especially from Arise. If by error he becomes President, Arise will be in hot soup! |

JoshTim: It was not a party meeting nor was it a meeting of the PCC, so how was it an in-house event? The press was present, only the BAT team wanted to control the narrative, which is unnecessary given that the uncensored video is important for the electorate in their decision making progress. What are you people hiding? |

JoshTim: This is a lie. Freedom of information act is clear on matters like this. A public event should be covered by media houses, talk more of an election event. It should be livestreamed from beginning to end QED. 4 Likes |

The media team of BAT is only trying to protect their principal from ridicule by refusing to livestream the event. They want only the edited version out. This is wrong. The event should be live streamed so that viewers can see when dippers would be changed. If you have nothing to hide from the viewing public, why intend to release an edited pre-recorded video clip? 4 Likes 1 Share |

This matter is Headquartered in Anambra State. They worship money. They say it's Africa Traditional Religion but it's simple Occultic Religion. Spending a few months in Anambra especially Ihiala and Okija, convinced me to leave Nigeria and it's backward thinking materialistic lazy and entitled youths- there's no redemption for this generation! 11 Likes |

EtinosaDLaw: A clear case of examination malpractice, coming to exam hall with machineries. You have to the exam yourself first before you qualify to lead the team or assemble the team for the task ahead. So this is malpractice nothing less! 1 Like |

The safety, health and wellbeing of its personnel has never been a priority to the NPF, otherwise why would a heavily funded organisation like NPF not afford to fly their men and women for such a long hull journey as Borno to Akwa-Ibom? Some many avoidable deaths occur in the Nigeria, this accident and death was avoidable if we place the right on life. 3 Likes |

Those who wrecked Nigeria should fix it before I return two decades from now God willing. Leaving the country has helped me reduce my lamentations drastically. |

Quite wishful thinking but a good read. See no need for the hurried optimism. Nigeria is full of surprises and has never failed to disappoint. The country is capable of making this deep dive analysis a waste of time and intellect. In the main time, I am enjoying exchanging 1 pound for as high as N900. Those who wrecked the country should fix it. I am the least bothered. 1 Like |

Natural disasters are not caused by God because God does not cause wickedness. They are mostly the resultant effects of man's greedy exploitation of earth's resources and the uneven stress on earth's structure. Satan, who is the ruler of the earth (world) and who has the means to cause death, delights in causing death, should be blamed and not Almighty God. God has allowed humans rule themselves under the influence of Satan to proof Satan a lier and show humans that only him is qualified to provide guidance. This is why God will not intervene until the fullness of time when he, by means of Christ rule undo the works of the devil bringing an end to human rule and Satan's influence on the earth. The earth, he will restore to paradise as he originally proposed, then no natural disasters will occur again. Until then, he is giving all of us an opportunity to repent and worship Him in accord with His standards. No human government can save humanity, only God's Kingdom will. XerXers: Past governors for almost 8years? Even if the former thieves owed debt, it was no where close to the current debtor. And he inherited assets and liabilities so no excuse is tenable. He pays himself and should pay others. |

NwekereNdoki: Please you are annoying me now, is there road in Ugwunabo and Ukwa both West and East? The Ndoki part of the State is there road. The shoe nonsense you mentioned, the one that was closed after the sham commissioning? You visited only a part of Aba, I live and do business in Aba. I come from here. So someone that built a few roads, contracts he used to defraud the state of billions of Naira, refuses to pay over 10months of salary arrears and 4years pension arrears is doing well? Make una try to dey educated, enlightened, well read and well traveled, e go help eradicate mediocrity, nativity and foolery from una life. 1 Like |

0bjpmb: No let him continue to disgrace his village people here. Whatever Ikpeazu managed to do in Aba, anyone could have done better. While campaigning, he promised to make Aba an industrial haven, make the markets modern international markets. What has he done to fulfill those empty promises he made? Ariaria international market remains a mess and highly disorganized place. Someone like Ikpeazu is only fit for a Barman or hotel manager role. 1 Like |

XerXers: You are making excuses for a thief. A man only good at drinking and womanising with state funds. A man that's never available to attend to the daily demands of his office. A man that has benefited only himself and family. Ikpeazu is running around now because he knows he deserve time in jail after next year. |

XerXers: How can someone who fails to pay salaries of teachers from Primary school to university not be a failure? What can he be then? Does he owe himself salary? And how does fixing some roads, not all roads in Aba amount to doing well? There's no road whatsoever to my village. Do you people even reason beyond the surface or you are so naive? |

So Aba equals Abia State to you NwekereNdoki? You are actually confused, not sure you are from Rivers or Abia. We who are Abians, myself an Ngwa man like the governor, crown him the worst governor in Nigeria and the very worst Abia has seen and you are here to launder his image to us. Who is bankrolling you? Is Wike owing Civil Servant like Ikpeazu currently does? Coming first in Nigeria as the most workers unfriendly governor, owing the highest number of arrears and in many cases adjudicating the State responsibility to pay civil servants. You just mentioned a few roads he built, roads that LG chairmen should build if the system was working as intended and you are praising him. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has proven that education and poverty is not enough to make a politician a good leader. He holds a PhD in industrial chemistry, how many industries did he resuscitate or even attract to Abia State? He was a pauper about a decade ago and only smelt money as governor, proceeds of looting state funds. There's no reason whatsoever to rank the Abia State glutton among responsible governors. At his age, he is a shame to the intellectual community. 1 Like |

The most useless governor in Nigeria and the worst Abia has gotten. Wike's senior special assistant. He is just visiting Abia State for this broadcast after which he returns to his boss. That's if he is even speaking from Umuahia. Roads that 75% are barely motorable. Owing everyone working for Abia State is your only achievement. 5 Likes |

Federal Universities are proceeding with the strike action now an indefinite strike. APC cannot afford to spend money on the education of the poor masses and their children in an election year. Surprisingly, a god forsaken State owned university like ABSU, where the good for nothing Governor, Okezie, owes the longest salary arrears, have announced a resumption from the strike. Universities like ABSU, where politics and ethnicity comes before academic merit and good reasoning, will continue to remain backwards when their contemporaries make progress. A university with missing accreditation for key courses, poor renumeration and welfare is calling off a strike action meant to address it's miserable condition made worst by playing ethnicity with an absent governor. Abia State must be under some kind of spell and it's clearly God forsaken never God's own State! |
