Hmm, I see your point and I know you're all for Sterilization but I still say, there has to be another way out. I am so against generalizations of all kinds and so I just can't agree that there's no hope for some of them in the future. Lets think out a way out other than sterilization.
iaabc(f): 6:25pm On Nov 12, 2010
Most of the people I know were on time for their weddings. It all boils down to proper planning.
iaabc(f): 6:21pm On Nov 12, 2010
Its painful, but like someone said, its not more than you can handle (usually). For me each time I just kept thinking to myself, "there are over 5 billion people on earth and they were all given birth to one way or another, so I can do it" Plus once its done its done and you have a precious little one to cherish for life.

Excellent business practice with good leadership skills, thats what I call it.

I don't see more children suffering as a result of reversible vasectomy that could otherwise be carried out on the addicts or pray tell am i missing something in the discussion?
iaabc(f): 6:05pm On Nov 12, 2010
Errm, nope I cant tell.

By the way those guys could have shot someone with that gun sticking out like that.
iaabc(f): 6:01pm On Nov 12, 2010
^^^you are able to surmise that from the picture?
iaabc(f): 5:54pm On Nov 12, 2010
Gotta be the intense light and heat from the lights, also affects the colour of her skin.
iaabc(f): 5:40pm On Nov 12, 2010
^^^99.9%? I beg to differ. Even when you want to post a letter, they will ask for tips, not to talk of receiving packages. Its a great shame.
iaabc(f): 5:36pm On Nov 12, 2010
No not if ANY child suffers. More tax-payers money, maybe, if its for the benefit of the children and long term benefit of would be repentant ones. Sterilization just seems so darn final.
iaabc(f): 5:30pm On Nov 12, 2010
He may truly care about you but I dare say this situation will not reverse itself once you get married. I honestly don't see you stalling the marriage plans because he has been like this for 6 years and you have borne it and you're now preparing to marry him.

My sincere advise is stop all wedding plans if you have the liver, so he can be shocked into realization of how this affects you. Otherwise if you marry him, you must be ready for the same story.

LOL!!!  Can't imagine how u handled that!!

wondering too. and wondering how it was actually presented at school to 7 year olds enough to make him come back with that feeling.

He probably would have liked to make the announcement himself, or he might not even have wanted to invite those friends, so whatever time is convenient for the couple is the right time.

buzugee:

never quite understood the whole hoopla about tuface and p square and all those guys. their music sucks. their persona is forced. etc etc. the only current nigerian musician i will pay money to go see is this guy. watch this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcdTIaPmytY

and as per shina saying tuface is empty, what he prolly means is that their is no depth to tuface. an analogy will be chuck d or rakim saying that souljah boy is empty.
or celine dion saying that britney spears is empty.

one is a legend, that was a superstar when people actually played real music with instruments, the other is a star in the era of computer manufactured music. big difference
quite agree

I'm going to have to agree with the approach suggested by MRBrownJay. But the question is will they agree?
iaabc(f): 4:09pm On Nov 12, 2010
^^^i agree, you cant exactly train them the same way, but as much as possible. My son has to know how to do all the house chores as well as the girls and the girls have to be able to do all the traditionally male technical stuff
iaabc(f): 3:59pm On Nov 12, 2010
^^^very valid points. There just has to be middle ground, that we can all agree on,
iaabc(f): 3:52pm On Nov 12, 2010

those jokes cracked me up.

Radiant is talking about siena's wife nt the posters wife. You need to understand a post before blabbing away.

Does insulting people come naturally to you or is it something you practice? For your information I was making the reference to Siena's wife., thanks for the non-clarification. The statement was to have read "even if his wife was not on NL, "
iaabc(f): 3:20pm On Nov 12, 2010
madlady:

OK your last statement really did hit home.

No child's life or upbringing should be sacrificed so maybe the ends justifies the means.

I still say they should find another way to go about solving the problem.

I agree too. Much as i wouldn't trade a child's life for any drug addict's, i still think there should be another way out, even if its just for the minority that would one day change their ways.

mr.official:

Some people chose NO. lol. Which kind love be that?

lots of people are married for reasons other than love.
iaabc(f): 3:05pm On Nov 12, 2010
Na wa! Such vituperations over such a simple matter?!

I don't think the poster made any reference to hard working women who can afford to reward their hard work with luxuries their hearts desire.

I rather think that and her post suggests that she is making reference to those set of people who try to play catch up with their peers, by borrowing and even becoming an unending source of headache to the people in their lives.

Plus what the bazookas will anyone be doing with one hundred and forty five pairs of shoes. That is a hording mentality and shows such a human being is selfish at best because close to such a person will be people who may not even have 1 good pair to wear.

djojo:

Is not allow in any yoruba culture, and by the way why is it that u want to marry from the same family with your brother when there are lot of ladies in this country which u can propose to.
from my own point of view is not a good idea cos (1) there will be no respect btw the two sisters
2. is never done
3. i believe is forbidding
4. it may create controversy in the family

says who?
iaabc(f): 9:30am On Nov 12, 2010
^^^good question
iaabc(f): 1:21pm On Nov 11, 2010
A marketing vacancy exists for an OND holder in a company situated in Lagos. Interested applicants should forward their CVs to [email protected] on or before 19th of November 2010.
iaabc(f): 12:46pm On Nov 11, 2010
Nothing wrong with it.

chaircover:

hmmmmmm the African Thing . . . . .

The irony is if something like this does go before the elders, the SIL will be severely reprimanded for hitting his MIL to the extent that he will get most of the blame. infact his own people will even blame him too & the MIL becomes the victim which is wrong cos she started it all by disrespecting her SIL.

We are from a culture where if someone is older by a day the older person automatically gets the respect of the junior ones regardless of whether they deserve it or not.

Thank you!
Radiant:

Just because you know his wife is on NL doesn't mean you should ask this nonsense. Sorry, but Siena is not a coward. Marriage is no joke.
No it was not nonsense and the man didnt feel it was. Even his wife was not on NL it has nothing to do with the question.

Siena:

Strange as it may sound to you, yes. If my wife's mother slapped me for whatever reason, she'll be paying a visit to the dentist. Mrs. Siena knows my stand on this matter, and she respects it.
That one me o, Sienna. You be real agbero like jennyjadry said!
Ndipe:

Question was totally unneccessary and crass.
I don't think so.
