I think op was right because I could failing a second semester general course German language precisely during my University days. when I went to my lecture, he told me that why didn't I come to see him in my first semester? And I replied! I never had issues immediately he walked me out. Later I went to see the course rep, paid 3k then he gave me a "C". Our educational system is very corrupt.
