tensazangetsu20:Lol. I know about genders. De hecho, mi español es bastante bueno. I just don't think Carne is masculine like you said. It is La carne, not EL Carne. Unless of course "EL Carne" is a Chilean Spanish thing. |

Seun: Seun, why is it necessary for you to make Christianity less important than Islam? "Islam is a very important religion". So, Christianity is not a very important religion? Which other religion has had a Cleric whose ing elicited condolences from every world leader including our very own president like the Pope? You haven't still created equity. Christians are not less significant nor less in number than Muslims in the country, so why is there a strictly Islam section but a "Christianity etc" board? Letting the Christians have their own dedicated section without other religions included just as you've done for Islam is the fair thing to do. I am not sure why this is a difficult thing for you to do. Though I suspect it's a political play, because I know you're a smart guy. One can only hope you'll do what is right regardless. And it's simple: Let the religion board be titled RELIGION. Then, let there be a section titled Christianity and another titled Islam. Christianity section for Christians only. Islam section for Muslims only. This is the popular demand, not what you've done. It's not the oath. It's the lack of equity that was the issue. Thanks. 1 Like 1 Share |

tensazangetsu20:What was the reason for his lack of provision for the family? I'm asking because I believe I have had a similar but worse situation, but I don't look at it the way you do. Mine even ed away when I was about 13. He left nothing. He never paid my fees or gave me money when he was with us. Mum was more or less the bread winner. But I don't consider him to have been "useless". Things just went bad for him which eventually lead to his death in fact. My father was respectable in the sense that he was strict and religious. He never visited brothels, beer palours, etc. I don't know if this is the case with yours? 3 Likes 1 Share |

tensazangetsu20:I'm just wondering, has he intentionally refused to provide? Like, he doesn't drop anything for the family? Like for food, rent, light bills, etc.? 2 Likes 1 Share |

tensazangetsu20:Lol. It seems we are only allowed to type in English on this forum. My initial response to this post was in Spanish and the bot banned me. The second time it's happening. I thought it was an error the first time. Shame on seun. Anyway, I was saying that the general way of saying these words or phrases would still be understood if you used them, right? Like if you said "es/toy abu/rr/ido", you would still be understood as being bored, yes? |

Seun:Why can't we post in a language other than English? The antispam bot bans you immediately you post anything that doesn't seem like English. Can you fix this? Or is this intentional? |

anonimi:In the days of old, people migrated A LOT in search of greener pastures. This is common knowledge. There has always been refugees. Many of the current occupants of the top countries in the east and the west migrated and settled there. White Americans are European settlers. Interestingly it was harder and riskier to travel across borders but people still did to find a better life. Many of these people now have descendants that are regarded as natives of the lands they settled in. A few centuries from now, OP's descendants if he stays in Chile would be natives of Chile. Throughout history, People have been migrating out of their land when life there is unbearable. Part of the cause of the fall of the Roman empire was the huge exodus of people from the land. People were leaving because of the tyranny and difficulty in living. Even not too long ago, many current day Argentinians are descendants of Italians who migrated from Italy. I could go on and on. But let's not derail this thread. Bye. 2 Likes |

anonimi:They don't have it anywhere as bad as we do. So why do that? These people have trivial problems like not knowing what a woman is. They don't have survival problems like we do. You can't do anything when you can't even feed yourself and your family. But if you japa and succeed, you have a better chance at tackling the problems back home. |

anonimi:You have a point, but what are you suggesting? People should stay back and suffer? The common man in Nigeria has no power to effect any change in the country. People japa so that their kids can have a better life. Let the corrupt ruling class fix the country then we can have this conversation about not going to develop the land of foreigners. For now, that's better than staying in the country for nothing but suffering. At this point, I wish everyone could just leave the country for them. Make dem dey rule themselves and those benefitting from their corruption. It's better to face discrimination in a foreign land but at least have better opportunities for you and your kids to succeed. There's also discrimination in Nigeria but with little to no opportunities. I tried to rent a house in Lagos recently and it took me more than 6 months to get a quite decent place because of the terrible discrimination. I also don't know why you think going abroad to start a new life is "the easy way". For most people, it's not an easy way. It's harder. It just happens to be the better way than staying in Naija to hustle without any certainty. 4 Likes |

cococandy:This is usually not how it goes down. The guys who boldy claim this are usually not your average guy. They are usually very well-off. And these are the type of guys most of you want. So even when you know he won't be loyal to you alone, you still go ahead to marry him to secure the bag. That's what happens. Nobody traps anyone.
