As political contestants, one expects peter Obi and Sowore to verbally tackle each other, from time to time, based on issues.

Again, as an opposition politician, one also expects Sowore to always beam lights on the policies of the current FG but he is rather focused on another opposition politician Peter Obi.

His recent incessant and obsessive attacks on the person of Peter Obi looks suspicious as though he is incentivized to particularly defame him out of the other politicians at all cost.

Something doesn't add up here. There is something fishy.

There is nothing in Pedoe Obi that scareess anyone.

Shey that man luk like person wey fit scareee anyone for your eyes?

Obi is a money lauuunderrer, why are you trying to whitewashh him?

Even you and your colleagues are losing sleep because of him. The amount of negative social media posts about him per hour is a clear indicator. If he was not a threat, why Atiku, El Rufai, etc not getting the same attention? There must something in Peter Obi that makes him a bigger threat.

There must be something in Peter Obi that scares Sowore badly because this obsession is worrying.

May be it is because in spite of Sowore's attempt to woo the young Nigerians, he was turned down for Peter Obi with much less wooing.

The truth is the current Federal Government has no road map or specific action plans to tackle critical problems of Nigeria. Policies are all rolled out on knee-jerk basis without even a simple SWOT Analysis.

However and unfortunately, none of Atiku, Peter Obi, Nasir El Rufai, etc has developed any road map at the moment. It is all about collaboration to grab power without collaborating to produce a LIVING DOCUMENT that lay a foundation a prosperous Nigeria.

It is not looking good at the moment.

Poor man with myopic bigoted mindset advising a rich man with cosmopolitan mindset. The difference is clear.

Wise Yorubas and Igbos are collaborating, doing business, making money and balling hard. Even as I write this, a Yoruba fashion designer in Lagos is on phone with a Igbo fabric seller in Aba talking business. But a hungry Yoruba or Igbo boy and regrettably girls with a phone together with rubber band are fighting for ethnic supremacy. SMH

Allowing Politicians to use your brain is a personal tragedy. But we will be all right las las.

Oga u were taught English language in school bah, this is to widen Ur knowledge in English language. The Nigerian dude was taught English language in school since his nursery,.same for other Africans. Unlike Britons who owned English! If it was a Spanish or French man now I for dey hear, but not a Briton!

The British colonized literally all countries so wetin u dey talk? Were you expecting the Nigerian dude to have won the Briton before? I'm even surprised the Nigerian scored this high!

Dude, both the Nigerian and the Briton were taught English language in school. Spoken English, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa or Swahili is different from the formal written form. Ok?

Did you read where the article say the test was divided into four parts and the Nigerian excelled in just 2 ? That's to say the score was a generous one.

You are the one who need to read the post again because the test was done based only on two out of four parts.

G0odharddick:

The Briton won without even practicing unlike the Nigerian dude who has been practicing and learning English language for decades.

Dude the Britons owned English and can defeat anyone without even practicing or preparing ahead

Did you see the Nigerian practising while the Briton partied all the through the night before the
test? Be calming down.

Congratulations to my Naija Brother.

As far as I am concerned the he has clearly ed the message to that Briton and indeed other Britons.

I am sure the Briton would be stunned and will be thanking his God that he won by those 4 points.

By the way, why didn't the Briton score 98 or even 100 as per NATIVE English speaker. Naija guy gave him a run for his money, jooor!

Series of events led to this:
- Military Junta took over government in Niger.
- Nigeria President, as ECOWAS Chairman had diplomatic row with Niger over the coup and cut power supply as sanction.
- Niger cut diplomatic ties former coloniser while President Tinubu of Nigeria has ongoing diplomatic romance with the same .
- is allegedly funding terrorists against the Junta in Niger.
- Niger in retaliation is currently funding and arming Boko Haram with sophisticated arms from Russia.
- Boko Haram is, all of a sudden, gaining upper hand in the war against Nigeria.

Lessons: Fighting proxy war comes with consequences. A proper SWOT Analysis of policy move before implementation is always necessary.

You're unhappy they ruled against your "Tigress"? Worse to come for her and you of course who is her die-hard er.

Can't you discern something from this judgement? The tigress didn't lose. No cost was awarded against her. It is "everyone bear your costs" situation contrary to the prayer and relief sought by the litigant.

Looking obvious that President Tinubu had since formed an alliance with Gov. Soludo/APGA as evident by his deliberate overlooking of Anambra State APC to appoint Bianca Ojukwu, Mark Okoye jnr, etc of APGA into key governmental positions.

By implication, Gov. Soludo is hoping, believing and trusting that by this alliance, APC will not rig him out in next Anambra State governorship election.

Perhaps, it is most likely that Tinubu also believes that an incumbent governor Soludo will guarantee 25% in 2027 than an imposed APC governor.

We keep watching.

What I could infer from this report is that the state government doesn't even know for sure who and who are the true of Agunechemba security outfit.

The man in charge and the Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on community security, Chief Ken Emeakayi sounded confused and frustrated too.

Not looking good. God help Anambra State.

Only God knows how many minors or even adults have been framed and suffering for nothing. The police failed to do their diligent screening here, wich makes them complicit.

Moreover, there are many boys from broken homes who get entangled with criminals they regard as egbons. Over time these young boys are groomed and manipulated to commit crimes. Unfortunately, Nigeria police doesn't seem to separate these minors/first offenders because there is no juvenile system to subject them to. In this way, more criminals are created after their prison experience.

The truth is that time has come for CJN and NASS to consider setting up an effective JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM in Nigeria.

Anambra State of police is just setting up a monitoring team for Agunechemba state security outfit that has operated for several months. It took the avoidable loss of innocent life to wake him up.

The needs to be more proactive on security rather than reactive.

RIP to the dead.

You didn't tell us how better a government should do it. Only criticism.
I'm not a fan of PBAT, but I like his reforms which I have for years suggested.
A leader must be able to take tough decisions, he did.

It looks like drawing up an economic plan is NOT a tough decision and that's why it hasn't been done. Well done, bro.

Come on Seun, making this statement is shocking and disappointing: "I have lost touch with Nairaland and I don't really know what's going on here." I don't think Elon Musk would say that of Twitter.

The fact is that Nairaland is a cashcow that would always generate much more than it needs to maintain it. But, unfortunately, you don't seem to see it like that because of, may be, other business ideas.

My key recommendation is that you manage Nairaland closely like a going concern it is. Once, you do this, ideas for improvement like the original conceptualization of Nairaland will crystallize in your creative mind. It is your baby. Growing it should be intentional on your part rather than ONLY in reaction to critics.

Peace!
